The scuba equipment we rented was very nice, our wet suits were still stretchy and newer. and I was very happy that their regulators were quality and I could take as deep a breath as needed. They also had integrated weights which a lot of dive shops do not. The Captain and dive master worked together to find an alternative dive spot when our first stop had low visibility, which they did. GPS on the boat had routes mapped and made both the Gulf and the Atlantic easy to navigate. Even the clerks in the stores were wonderful! We've been renting now from VBR for about 4-5 years now, and they've always been super helpful, kind and patient. You never feel like you're treated like a tourist or an annoyance which I love. They have a wide selection of boats, and like any other rental company you have pristine boats and you have boats that have seen some love over the years. Either way, I've never had any equipment issues or emergencies or anything of concern outside of a loose cleat. We've always been thoughtful and careful with their equipment, listened and adhered to the rules, took boaters safety and respectful to their property and they've all been good to us in return. Every time we're back to pickup a boat, we spend 10 minutes getting paper work and before we can finish saying hi to Cathy's cute lil weenie dog and the staff is telling us the boat is ready. It was old and badly maintained. We tried calling them over 40 times with no response. We tried to locate them at address on brochure, but they are not located there. We were sent by person there to a different address and they were not there either. We don't think they have a physical location. While trying to locate them, we were told by 3 individuals that they are shady and good luck trying to find them. They still have not returned our phone calls.

We then did drive there for 30 minutes only to fund Jay rented our boat to someone else whom paid for a full day at 1130am even though our half day was to start at 12pm. He clearly bumped us for the full day amount of money and lied to us and did not have the decency to call us back, wasting a long drive. Total crooks....
