Super fun fun fun candy store right on the strip by Fisherman's Wharf. The store is huge - very cute, nice and bright, colorful... Everything you would want in a candy store. It was laid out nicely and it was easy to see all the choices. The two employees were so kind and helpful and cheerful. There were sooooo many choices of what to get. I felt like, well, a kid in a candy store! I bought some Silky Gems that I had been wanting to try and some other bits and bobs. They have retro candy, modern candy, sodas, things from overseas, pick/pack your own.... Anything you could want. Be sure to check the prices as you go. We got to the front with our few items and it was $90! Everything we tasted when we got home was fresh and tasty.

This place is seriously one of my favorite spots in San Francisco. I love it so much!! The whole store is like stepping into a colorful candy dream. Everywhere you look, there's something cute, fun, or totally unique. They carry so many cool brands and special items you don't see just anywhere. One thing that immediately made me freak out (in a good way) is that they have Pusheen -- and not just regular Pusheen, but limited edition Pusheen merch too! If you're into cute collectibles, plushies, or anything pastel and adorable, this store is a must-stop. I could've spent an hour just in the Pusheen section alone. The entire shop is bright, vibrant, and full of personality. The walls are colorful and super aesthetic, which makes the whole experience feel even more fun. On top of that, they have a ton of merch for their candy brands -- sweaters, hoodies, shirts, accessories -- and the quality is honestly really good. Everything feels carefully curated, not cheap or generic. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making the store feel like an experience, not just a place to buy candy. It's the kind of shop where you want to take photos, look at every shelf, and explore all the details. Whether you're into nostalgic candies, cute characters, or creative snacks, there's something here you'll end up wanting to take home. Super cool options to take photos if you're a girly girl you'll really love it I'll definitely be coming back every time I'm in the city. It's colorful, fun, and packed with cute items -- literally everything I love. Highly recommend if you want to brighten your day or treat yourself to something sweet!

This is a fun candy store that kids of all ages will love. You can buy candy in bulk or individual packages. There are 2 floors so don't forget to go upstairs for more sugary fun. As a manager said to me 'We're not called IT'S HEALTHY'

Friendly staff and all the candy you can dream of! What's there not to like! Enjoy exploring your favorite! But watch that sweet tooth! Don't over do it! LOL

Pretty cool candy spot for candy lovers. All sorts of candy! you can take a bag and put how ever much you want. We did some sour candies. It's more self serve, so you help yourself to whatever you want.

Alright, alright! This review is long long long long overdue and is dedicated to you, Jim!! Hopefully this post isn't too late to highlight a few reasons why you are amazing! My family and I stopped into IT'SUGAR since we were walking the pier and came across this cute and fun little shop. Seriously?? How can anyone say no to all of this cuteness or to sugar in general??!! This joint is absolutely visit worthy even if it's just to get some really cute pics!! Here you will find all things cute, quirky, and unique. Lucky for me, I came across Jim, who conjured up a bit of conversation. He was friendly, energetic, and I appreciated his honesty when I asked for his input on a few items. Purchases of that day included loose candies sold by weight, a pair of dolphin chopsticks for my toddler, Lil' Nitro [the world's HOTTEST gummy bear], and a sucker that contributed a bit of the cost to Make A Wish foundation. Shout out to Jim who attempted to warn me about that damn gummy bear. Lolz. Lil' Nitro absolutely kicked my butt!! I'm not mad that I tried it but I won't be doing that ever again!! I cringe just thinking about that moment... 5/5 stars. This place is a must!!

Very clean very fun sooo much assortment of candies and chocolates My young niece fave candy store ever even if we have one here in SD she prefers this one in SF

I came here on 7/5/25. I thought this place was amazing despite me not being into candy. This place has a lot of products that aren't food such as t-shirts, water bottles, funko pops, and oreo pillows.

This candy store has so much variety of candy. My nephew went crazy and kept grabbing everything off the shelf. They were pretty amazed at the selection choice of candy. It's so hard not to get anything from here. What a cute place to be in with quotes on the walls.

It is sugar overload. Almost all the candy you can think of is represented in this place. I saw some brands that I haven't seen in stores in forever, nice to know they still make them! But it is overwhelming. Not only do they have the candy, it also merchandise like sweaters, pillows, home goods, etc all related to the brands. The pricing is what you would expect it to be for such a niche store and in the tourist hotspot are. It was worth going in once but probable never again.

It'Sugar has any candy you can possibly imagine and even more! Almost 30,000 square feet. 3-floor candy store with thousands of different sweets, some of which I haven't even heard of. The store is very colorful and seems pretty clean. They also sell shirts, socks, mugs, and different kinds of merch. We were approached by the worker right as we walked in. He was very kind and asked if we needed any help. I got myself peanut and brownie M&M's and paid almost 9$, which is a little too expensive in my opinion. Anyway, I definitely recommend you swing by! Even if you don't like candy, it will be interesting just to walk around.

We went on grand opening day, and it wasn't that packed. The staff was amazing, everyone was so friendly. There are 3 floors and they sell so much more than just candy. They have mugs, socks, stuffies, magnets, and so much more. You can buy candy by the pound or buy a container with all you can fit for $16.99. The stuff that's about to expire is 50% off. The store itself I'd really fun. They have funny paintings and signs and it's really colorful.

IT'SUGAR is a 3-story candy store for every sweet tooth out there. It's a fun place to walk around, explore, and reminisce all the childhood candy from the early 1990s to 2000s (there's probably others but I just don't recognize them). They had themed areas like everything skittles or reese's, Pokemon to Harry Potter, and much more. For the Funko Pop collectors out there, there are exclusive pops here. The downside to IT'SUGAR is that it's expensive and obnoxious music on repeat.

Hello Kitty Naruto line... they are sooooo cute!

We originally went to the location near Union Square, thinking we'd be able to grab pastries and hot chocolate, only to realize it's primarily a retail shop with chocolate bars and merchandise. We ended up making our way to the Valencia Street location, and I'm so glad we did. We learned that it used to be the original factory before they outgrew the space. Production has since moved a few blocks away, and now this location offers classes, a café, and plenty of chocolate treats. While we were there, a chocolate-making class was in session, and it was fun to watch part of it. The instructor even came over to chat with us and answer a few questions, which was such a nice personal touch. We ordered the brownie bite flight along with a hot chocolate, and both were fantastic. The brownie flight was rich, flavorful, and a fun way to sample different chocolates. The hot chocolate came with a tiny cookie that was absolutely delicious. At first, we were a little disappointed because we thought our hot chocolate was supposed to come with a marshmallow and didn't see one. When we mentioned it, the instructor smiled and showed us a toppings station we had completely missed. There were homemade marshmallows, flavored sugar cubes, and other little extras you could add yourself. He even encouraged us to take a few extra marshmallows, and they were some of the best I've ever had. One thing to know before you go is that Dandelion Chocolate focuses on high-quality chocolate that isn't overly sweet. If you're expecting the sugary milk chocolate flavor of a candy bar, this is a different experience. The chocolate has a richer, more complex flavor, and we really enjoyed trying something different. Between the friendly staff, delicious treats, and unique experience, I'd definitely recommend adding it to your itinerary--just make sure you head to the café location if you're looking for food and drinks!

I popped in during an evening dog walk & it was game over. Inside, the shop bursts with color, rows of gummies, chocolates, and nostalgic treats that make you feel like you've stepped into a real-life candy playground. The selection is seriously impressive. Think sour watermelon slices, Swedish-style raspberry gummies, cola bottles, peach rings, rainbow belts, giant marshmallow twists, Haribo classics, and even fun themed candies like frogs, sharks, and gummy strawberries. Everything is neatly packaged and easy to browse, which makes it extremely dangerous for anyone prone to impulse snacking.
