Some of the exams were the same or similar to a regular eye exam, but there were a lot more that clearly defined my eye muscle issues. I'm biased toward the Community Health Network, after I received such superb care during my brief hospital stay at Community Hospital South; their network is also less expensive than Franciscan. So: Location. Right next to the freeway exit (465 & Washington Street E) -- easy to get to. Dedicated parking lot, and easy to drop patients off at the front door. Facilities: Clean, comfortable, roomy waiting area. Friendly and efficient front desk staff. Plenty of available masks & hand sanitizer. Waiting area easy to socially distance. Chairs comfortable. Experience making appointment: Courteous receptionist who helped me immediately, and offered two back-to-back appointments (for myself and His Goatness) within four days of my call. Appointments can be booked online, as well, for existing patients. Filling out forms/receiving results/payment: ALL available online, and easy to navigate. Received access to my visit summary within three hours. Received access to my labwork as soon as it was reviewed by the pathologist. Reminders for treatments/diagnostics due show up on the app as well -- makes it easy to keep track of ongoing care. Medical staff: Samoyia, the nurse, was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Dr. Zachary Crowell, new to the practice, was logical, organized, and pleasant, spending all the time needed to sort and make sense of my medical history and needs. He made two referrals to deal with my current needs, all within the same network -- I received callbacks and made appointments before the day was over. I'm going to enjoy working with the both of them, going forward! It reminds me of an indoor mini mall, because there is seating in the middle, with offices all around. Me, personally? I've been here to visit the Quest Diagnostics for blood draws, visited the walk-in breast screening services for my yearly mammogram, had an X-ray done for abdominal woes, and brought my children to visit the urgent care. There are also endocrinologists here, OB/GYN care, physical therapists and other physicians and services. The waiting room is big and open, and it's always been very peaceful and calm whenever I have visited. I don't enjoy visiting any kind of doctor at any time, but whenever I visit a doctor or get a procedure done here, it's always been a good experience.

She was my recovery nurse with an upbeat attitude and made me feel as comfortable as I possibly could be. She is extremely knowledgeable and set the pace for my attitude towards wanting to get healthy. The medication lasted 9 days after which the pain started to return. I called them on day 13 to have them renew my prescription or get me another that would eliminate my pain. I was told that their policy was they would only prescribe a new medication within 9 days of being seen and I would have to come back and pay another $179 to address my issue. My prescription didn't run out until 9 days passed! They also said my NP who prescribed my medication was off that day and and another attending would not write a script without seeing me first for another $179. What... I guess the other attending couldn't read my file, or even make a phone call to the NP??? This place is nothing but a money grab, forget being cared for like they care about you, it's all about the money!!!!!

He was very thorough and efficient and listened to what I had to say and answered my many questions. He even has a good sense of humor, which is rare for doctors.
