A crown had been advised by the first doctor and I was open to this, but I also had some underlining issues and concerns with the tooth, that resulted in the second opinion. Just in my initial contact with the office of Dr. Bidgoli, I could easily see the strong professionalism of the practice. It was even more so during my first appointment, especially with regard to the steps taken to ensure BOTH the safety of patient and staff during Covid. As for my time with Dr. Bidgoli, "impressive" is the best descriptor that I can offer. Her consultation was clearly rooted in the best interest of me, the patient. She patiently explained everything clearly and with logic and facts. I also heard input on my situation that I had not heard prior. I was so impressed. In short, I cannot recommend Dr. Bidgoli enough. An exceptional Doctor.

There were so many questions, scenarios and a LOT of dental anxiety- Dr. Castro was literally a Saint. I met with Dr Goguen and she was able to walk me throug the process and procedures that would fit my individual situation. She and the staff set up a plan and put me in contact with their Anesthesiologist Dr Dorsch. She in turn explained her potion of the process and answered any questions I had. After my appointment was confirmed, I received calls from both Advanced Endodontics and the Anesthesiologist two days before my procedure to make sure I was ready. One the actual day I arrived and the staff was totally prepared and I was treated as if I was the only patient they had. The process went exactly as planned on time with no issue. I had No Pain, No Discomfort and went home feeling fine. I received 2 follow up calls to make sure all was well. It was a great success and I can't say enough about the professionalism and kindness exhibited by the staff. I saw they treated myself and other patients as human beings and not numbers. Needless to say, I was not looking forward to this one. The procedure was a revelation. I have never had a filling done or a root canal that was absolutely painless. As Dr. Lee told me afterwards, numbing completely is the solution. Now, the next day, all I feel is a little heaviness in that area. The actual procedure was very quick and to my surprise completely painless. Getting a filling was actually longer and more uncomfortable than this process. Dr. Lee did exceptional on my root canal and I had ZERO pain during and after the procedure. He was honest and upfront about what needed to be done and that is something I appreciate greatly. I'm from Russia and I had a long story with that tooth having a cyst and a lot of inflammation for 2 or 3 years. Russian dentists (although I went to expensive clinics) told me to extract the tooth. The tooth was really difficult but I was lucky enough to come across dr Thomas. She saved my 5th tooth for that I have a feeling of warm and great gratitude. From the moment you enter her office you get a sense of being at the epicenter of professionalism, calm, and compassion. Dr. Thomas's 31 years of being an endodontist, including eight years in the Navy and being deployed during Operation Iraq, has served her well. While in her company you get the feeling, you are the only patient on that day's schedule. There is no sense of rush as she extensively answers your questions and will allay any fear in a professional and assuring manner. She has the gift of blending compassion and even humor when needed. My only regret is she doesn't do general dentistry as I would look forward to becoming her first patient.
