The photos I showed the stylist are of natural-looking neutral/ashy brown hair but I ended up with streaky silver highlights that look totally unnatural. There were also a couple orangey unblended pieces. This was my first color at Kantor and it is also the first time I've been unhappy with my balayage results. I've always gotten ashy/neutral browns at other salons, so I don't understand why this took twice as long (5 hours) and why I ended up with super light highlights when the prompt was brown. When it was clear there were issues, there was no time to fix it. I had also scheduled a haircut that somehow wasn't entered into the system, and there was no time for that either (although the price I paid included the cut). The stylist offered to fix it two days later and I initially accepted, but cancelled after feeling anxious about entrusting the same person who created the problem with fixing the problem. When I called to cancel and told the receptionist I was unhappy with my color that I was too anxious to go back she said "alrighty then, have a nice day" and that was that. Would have been nice to get the cut I never got refunded, but that at least affirmed my decision to go with my gut and never go back. I am so annoyed that I wasted so much money at Kantor on a color I hated and a cut I never got, but I have learned a valuable lesson. I will never again get my hair done without a prior consultation to make sure we are on the same page, and I will thoroughly research the stylist and salon before putting my hair and money in their hands.

The stylist and facialist/manicurist were pleasant and I was told it was a salon in a home but I didn't expect that the facial was in the same space as all the other service areas or that the home included dogs that came out to greet/bark. Luckily my allergy to dogs is relatively minor. This is the first big difference from most other places. My skin was okay when done but I saw (in less than a half hour after leaving) some break out and definitely the extractions were peremptory at best. I still have some areas that needed work. What you also are not getting: calm lighting, eye covers to protect from the bright overhead lighting, warm towels whenever the face is washed off or sufficient amount of humid air to open up pores for best results. Also, the facial is done in the same small front room where there is a hair wash bowl, a nail station, and nearby is a hair station. When someone else is there, there is no possibility of quiet and the music is whatever Alexa plays (that day was medium to high energy music). I also had a manicure and it was okay looking initially but nails were not cleaned underneath, I noticed a small cut in my cuticle line, and a day later 4 of them were chipped/peeling so the "dazzle" polish that allegedly stays on extra well either was defective or badly applied. Overall, not an experience I want to repeat and I don't see myself going again. I will say it was good to have my desire not to talk too much respected.

The stylist covered it up with the blow out she styled it with and once I straightened it I was in shambles. It was a bob and very noticeable. Oksana saved my life fixing my hair. Not only is it now even but she somehow saved my hair from being too short. It's still at a perfect bob length. She's very professional and knows what she is doing. I highly recommend Oksana and will now only be returning to see her for ALL future appointments.

I call a few hours ahead of time and make an appointment - they get me in every time. Alec is by far the best pedicure I've ever gotten in my 20+ years of getting pedicures. But again, anybody you see here is excellent and will listen. I've never gotten an infection or fungus, I've never been cut, and I've always loved coming here. They do an excellent thickness with the acrylic so they're not too thin and break and they're not gobby and thick either. They also don't lift on the sides. The atmosphere is relaxing and vibe is great! I pay with Venmo and it's quick and easy! I'll continue to come here for many, many years!!

So we got there.. not too busy. This nail salon is large with plenty of tables for techs & clients. The lady at the front desk seemed to be better than everyone, no nice greeting or smile, just "yes?" So we pick out our colors & then we are escorted to where our mani's are going to happen... the lady at the front desk, says your deck will be with you in a moment, to me. My daughter is already getting started.. there are 3 tables in a row & maybe 10 rows. We were put on the very first row right next to the front desk, then another client comes in & all 3 of us are crammed into this space that was not easy to get in or out of without knocking each other! And the chairs are huge, don't go in very far or move back any... there are 2 empty rows in between us & the other texh with A client in the 4th row.. we were all soooo close, almost touching elbows! My tech arrives & gets started, then all of a sudden, she says something, I can't understand or hear, except for $60 for a new set..?! She then starts taking off my tips & trimming my nails way down too close to my nail beds, kinda hurt! My daughter looks at me & I'm like, I don't know! She takes a nail tip & is removing my tips, all the while I'm thinking & feeling like she's gonna take the entire nail off! The front lady is doing the 3rd lady's nails next to her, and then shows her how to cut my nail so she can get under the tip to remove better. (My other hand has already been Pulled off!) so I have no idea why she had to put on new tips.? My nails had grown under so she could have just applied the acrylic over, but instead chopped down every one of them, except my pinky which had no nail, and added tips! (Sometimes I wonder if they know that the more they charge me for my service, means that the tip isn't going to be as good! I go to the salon with a set amount in mind & so with a budget, it's either service or tip! And I know that sounds horrible, but these days! Come on now! Everyone that works there has a Lexus!! I don't drive a Lexus!!) so back to it... it was a strange not really welcoming experience & I'm sure that next time, we'll try the other salon across the street. There's a 50/50 chance I may or may not come back... customer service is very important to me, especially from an owner or manager & I feel like this didn't happen. My service was all over highlights with all over color plus cut. I showed Tiffany a pic of what I like and told her I am totally lazy with styling my hair. She said all it would take is a few min with a straightening iron and she was right on the $. She did not take a ton of time styling my hair which is exactly what I wanted-a quick style I can recreate without spending all my time in the mirror. She was very intuitive and sensitive to my requests including my aversion to spending hours in the styling chair. I hate having my hair done but this was not the normal chore it usually is. Being close to my house is an added bonus. Highly recommended!
