She wasn't very pleasant and I don't understand why they frown on walk in business. A different young lady cut my hair and she did a good job while being very pleasant while doing it. Diane decided I needed more highlights and lowlights She proceeded to put bleach on already bleached hair, put me under a hot dryer for 30 to 40 minutes without checking my hair once. Finally she laughs and says you're white. After shampooing out which left soap at the back of my head, blows out my hair which is dried out and fried. (My 1st time there though) The girls there have always done such a great job and they've always been very friendly as well as very good with kids. I don't remember who cut our/their hair in the previous visits, but Denise and Nikki did great! (I only remember their names because they are printed on the receipts, I'm horrible when it comes to remembering names) Denise did an especially good job because the haircut I wanted was one that looks kinda complicated. Because I hardly ever get a haircut, I don't have one particular stylist or salon to go to that I know I can trust to do a good job. As a result, I went in crossing my fingers and HOPING that I would get someone who'd know what they were doing, and not someone who was gonna butcher my hair. I got Denise and was so pleasantly surprised at what a good job she did. Nikki cut my kids' hair, as well as my husband's, and she also did a very good job. She's also good with kids and very sweet to them, which is just as important to me as the haircut itself. We will be going back to this location many more times in the future, I'm sure.

I've been mulling over writing this review for days, but I've come to the conclusion that if I'd…read moreseen a review like mine before I went, I wouldn't have such a terrible haircut. My stylist was very nice and we had great conversation. Unfortunately, however, she didn't do anything close to what I asked for. I wear glasses, so i couldn't really see in the mirror and I was turned away from the mirror so I couldn't even see it when I left. She didn't even bother to show me the back. It wasn't until I got home that I saw that not only was it so so so much shorter than I'd asked for, but it's just an all around bad haircut. She was very heavy handed with the razor so the few places I do have a little length, it's thin and frizzy. Full disclosure: I had cut my own hair (I'm a former stylist) and made a mistake on one side. I was very clear on what I wanted. I said I wanted to keep as much as I could as I'm trying to grow it out, and I just needed the other side evened up with the side I went too short on. I even included that I didn't want it "spikey"! I provided 3 pictures, all pretty similar, and my hair was plenty long enough for all of them. When I went in, my hair was just over 6 inches all around. Now, it's less than 2, uneven, tapered to about 1 inch above my ear, then 2 inches right below it creating weird bumps in the over all style. She kept my bangs (thankfully) but directly behind, it's so short it's spikey, exactly what I said I didn't want. It's not just that it's just too short, it's a terrible haircut, and there's nothing I can do to make it better until it grows out. My goal isn't to bad mouth the salon or the stylist, she was great working with me to get me in and really seemed to listen to me, but this truly is the worst haircut I've ever had. It will take several months before I can even fix it. Even though it's incredibly embarrassing, I've actually decided to add the pictures because I think it's necessary to see how bad it really is. Sadly it's been almost 2 weeks and not a single person from the salon reached out to offer to try to even it out or make it better in any way. No accountability for mistakes. Feel free to remember that before choosing this salon.
