Here is your warning. First red flag was they started 7 months late. It took them 4 months to re- build a brick wall. Never a full day of work or full week. No consultation on matching our 40 yr old brick and terrible communication. They do contract out the work. The light brick on the bottom is what was chosen and then dark brick was used to finish. Ivy Creek was amazing to work with. To start, they met me on site and helped walk me through the different options for my space based around the functions I wanted to achieve. Before starting the work we had a meeting with the project manager to lay everything out and make sure we were ready to go. During the construction process they were communicative and quick. They also power washed and left my property cleaner than it was before they started. I would recommend Ivy Creek to all of my family and friends! read more

UPDATE TO BELOW REVIEW: On 7/15/22, Martin Finn, the project manager for our complex, showed up with his crew to repair the damage that was done to my railroad ties (see below) due to their lawn mowers falling on them and causing extensive damage. Today's landscape crew was wonderful, worked hard til the job was completed, and did a great job. They also re-seeded the lawn due to the heavy equipment they used sitting on my lawn a good part of the day. When they were finished, they replaced a railroad tie in front of my house with one of the left-over pieces they had. It took awhile to get this repair work done, but I understand that weather was an issue as well as staffing. Thanks to the crew that worked so hard all day, I am upgrading my review to four stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Brandon of Ivy Creek was a perfect gentleman when he was trying to get a contract for yard maintenance in our complex of 38 homes. First month was great when Sean was in charge. It has been downhill ever since. On three separate occasions, two of his lawnmowers fell on railroad ties and into my back yard, destroying part of my mature boxwoods, landing on top of a Rose Sharon, and causing a lot of damage to my railroad ties. Qe worked with them almost 1 year to complete a backyard project. But they could not complete it on time. No proper response when calling the Manager. They are coming to site on time. There are 50+ emails sent backand forth but the work is still pending. read more

I first reach out to Ivy landscaping on March 8th took me till the 24th to get an estimate. Wasn't that big a deal, but should have been a sign, because I had several things going on. I decided to go with Brandon after meeting him, even though he wasn't the cheapest price I got. Two weeks went by I reached out and was now told it would be 2 more weeks before he could even get me on the schedule, I even asked if he wanted to do my project and was assured he did. Didn't hear from him for 2 weeks so I followed up, he assured me again I was on the schedule and by Friday I would know when. Another week later again I reach out now nothing. Now I'm looking at 2 more weeks to go with someone else. I don't know what was going on but if he didn't want to do it he could have just told me. read more

I was a customer of Ivy Creek for literally 4+ years for mowing, lawn maintenance, even had them install a patio. All of a sudden in April 2022 my grass was like a foot tall and I emailed and called to see when they would be out to cut my lawn. I didn't hear back so followed up and then Brandon basically told me it has been nice doing business with me but they were focusing on commercial clients. He gave me ZERO notice to find another provider and my grass looked horrible. After 4+ years of doing business with me I would have expected at least a notice by email and a final service to wrap things up. When I asked for a final cut to bridge to a new provider Brandon simply did not respond. I always paid on time and was never demanding- even followed up when I didn't see an invoice come through when they moved to new billing system. Not an okay way to treat any customer and sad they ended the relationship this way. read more

Brandon and his crew were hired to make my unsightly backyard more appealing and they delivered! The owner was super responsive and made it out the day day after my initial inquiry for a consultation. He worked within my budget to help me achieve some much needed hardscaping and an upgrade to my fire pit area! The crew made quick work of the one day job and left my property in pristine condition. I was overjoyed when the Ivy Creek crew first started working on my yard, because another landscaping company had really damaged my lawn, beds, and yard, in general. Ivy Creek immediately established rapport and credibility. They showed up on time, they fixed issues other landscapers had created, they made recommendations without being pushy, they offered fair and competitive pricing, and their work was fantastic! I've been using them for yard maintenance, but I also had them do a BIG yard clean-up with pine straw installation... When they were finished, I received text messages from my neighbors for a week about how beautiful my yard looked and how hard the crew worked! I was impressed, but so were my neighbors - which is always fun!! I highly recommend Ivy Creek to anyone looking for honest, hardworking, and knowledgeable landscapers! read more

We had a great experience with Ivy Creek. Though we didn't end up doing the project, both Brandon and Waldo were very responsive and insightful. They kept in touch frequently and came out to our house twice to answer all of our questions. They also provided candid perspectives on what was possible and what to avoid in our yard, which led us to re-think our project. Not many contractors would do that. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE CLOWNS!! We contracted with Ivy Creek for a driveway, back patio and sidewalk at our new home. The driveway cracked all the way across within two days of pouring it. They didn't haul away the dug out rock, etc that needed to be excavated prior to pouring and acted confused why I would ask them to do that as part of the job. We had to go rent a dump trailer and heavy duty truck at Lowes in order to get it out of our front area as it was going to be worked on by another vendor for irrigation and sod. Ivy Creek came back begrudgingly to cut out the bad section of concrete and repoured it with some sort of inferior cheap mixture that was loaded with sand and was charcoal in color. After 7 days when it would have been dry enough to walk on I took one step on it and went into the air and landed on my side and ended up with 4 cracked ribs and major issues with my sciatic. I tried to get them to just go away but instead they demanded I pay them for their garbage disintegrating sandy cement repour along with over $4,000 in bogus charges for work they didn't do and wasn't in the original quote. I've now had to get an attorney to sue them for damages and faulty workmanship. I was warned by another person who told me they only care about money and not providing quality work. read more
