The director, Matthew, is very knowledgeable about the treatment of patients with connective tissue disorders including HSD and EDS. If you have one of these disorders, you know the difficult task of finding a PT that truely understands the disorder and all the related issues that accompany it, and how to treat them in the therapeutic setting. The staff also has fun making, PT not the monotonous and boring hospital-like setting that I'm used to. I actually kinda like going...which is a first for PT. I know the other reviews on here are much older, so I also wanted to give another update: I'm attending therapy again (it's in my blood) and doing shoulder therapy. I've had a chance with working with several of the therapists and they are all wonderful. This is the place that will listen to you and what your body is saying unlike so many PTs in the past have pushed me too fast and I've ended up worst. I absolutely recommend them for anyone needing PT but especially for those with connective tissue disorders like HSD/EDS/hEDS.

Today was my son's post-op visit. Dr. Carey was happy with how my son's clavicle/surgical site looks, and how he is healing. I have never experienced the level of care that I am receiving at JSPT, it is exceptional! When I…read morestarted at SJPT I had Neuropathy in my fingers and my feet and toes. I now have no Neuropathy in my fingers. The Neuropathy in my feet has diminished substantially and my big toes are the only place that is still feeling numb. I went from walking my dog two times a day for about a half of a mile because my feet hurt so bad, to over a mile two times a day and my feet didn't hurt after the walks. I also had issues with stiffness and could not get up and down on the floor with out holding on to something for support. I did a lot of groaning getting out of my recliner or couch. I still get a little stiffness, but that's when I'm lazy and sit around too long. I can now get onto the floor and get up off the floor on my own, I no longer need to hold on to something for support and I no longer groan getting out of my recliner or couch. The staff are wonderful. They are all very friendly, accommodating and professional. I am so happy that my friend recommended SJPT to me. My quality of life has improved at least 85% and I have only been a patient there for a few months. I can't wait to see how I feel in the next few months. Thank you all for tge exceptional care and support you are giving to me and all your patient's. I really appreciate you all!

If it weren't for Lexie I still would be sleeping in my recliner on my 1st floor. Wally showed me how much my knees could bend and help me get on the bike and turned those pedals until they start squeaking for additional oil. Caretta makes appts and insurance go smooth and in todays world that is a skill and show determination. I would not be where I am today 5 1/2 months post surgery. He goes out of his way to actively listen to what is going on for a patient and never ceases to do his personal best to bring pain relief in a safe fashion to his Patients. I have visited two of their offices one in Horsham and the one that I go to primarily in Huntingdon Valley. Everyone there is courteous and genuinely shows interest in doing their best to make the best out of a not so great situation. I have never felt as though I was just another number coming through the door, and it is clearly obvious that everyone involved genuinely wants to do their best to help make the pain that is present as bearable as possible, without being too aggressive and turning people into zombies . Dr. Chad Metzger, has been a lifesaver, and I would highly recommend him to anyone to make life much more manageable and in many cases as normal as it can be considering what it's like to live with pain 24/7 I find it, encouraging that his approach is both prudent and conservative and beyond just dispensing medication. Dr. Metzger, is helpful with making recommendations for total health, including mind, body and soul. I cannot speak more highly about him and again would recommend him to anyone with chronic pain.

The Therapists were able to diagnose the problem and prescribed a set of exercises that were spot on for my condition. I went to the office for approx. 7 weeks and am delighted to say that I have 100% range of motion in that shoulder and am PAIN FREE. An enormous shout out to DAN, ANTHONY, KP, MARCO and BIJITA. Without you pushing me I wouldn't be where I am now. The work was hard, and sometimes painful. But you all were so kind and compassionate that it was a pleasure to come for treatments. He is a true professional and keeps you on your toes. My overall time spent with Marco and and the others was equally enjoyable. Every time I thought I was doing great, Dan would show me I could do a little more. At 84 years old one might think they can not be trained to do anything. Dan proved that to be wrong. With any luck I won't be needing their services anymore but if I do it would only be in Bordentown. Much thanks to DAN and the rest of the crew.
