I've been attending sessions for a few weeks now and could not be happier with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff from the front desk to the therapist themselves. Mike and Jake have been instrumental in providing me the ability to live my life fully once again. Darian at the front desk has handled all insurance matters and I have had no issues whatsoever. Was told that the nominal fee that the insurance would not cover would not be a problem and be taken care of by Ivy (written off).... seems I am NOT the only person that was told this as another reviewer on here had the same experience so they are deceitful for sure. 4 phone calls/messages left with the front desk attendant and an email to the manager were not answered though I was told there were two phone calls made to me but if I did not answer (never received the calls on record... and there were never messages left), why wouldn't they respond to the email I sent which was surely a concern based on the tone of my mail. I also called billing and the woman told me she understood and would escalate the issue with management. She took my number and I never heard back but received a collection notice for $28 one month later. So she had decided when she found out that the charge was not going to be taken care of, NOT to call me but let me fume further by getting a collection notice. Will NEVER use Ivy again....and NEVER recommended them. The customer service on this issue was horrendous and disgustingly negligent and non responsive. There are many choices but if you think customer service is important when you need to use them when there is an issue... then look elsewhere because you'll be ignored read more

This is my second time for physical therapy at Peak Performance. Both time they have been very professional and attentive to a patient's needs and someone is always watching how you are performing your exercises. Andrew, my Therapist for each of my two rounds of sessions is excellent in that he establishes a workout routine and monitors progress, after which he will modify the workout to account for your progress. The assisting staff is very attentive as well but be prepared for a welcoming hello when you walk in the door. You will notice that most of your equipment has been setup in advance and one of the staff will quickly get you going and will remain close by, occasionally asking if you are okay followed by hands on therapy. Found them very attentive to my needs and always modified the therapy routine based on my needs. I never found that they gossiped or talked to the point I was irritated or found it unprofessional. They have always been very accommodating in scheduling me in. I would recommend them. read more

I was going to be a new patient. Gave all of my information over the phone so thet could confirm everything. They had a lot of personal information that checked out. When I arrived for my appointment they demanded a copy of my drivers license stay on their computer system. I politely refused and they came up with some bs reason. Not caring about me. Excellent staff and facility. I've been to 2 other Pt places in this area, including NY Wellness on wantagh ave. The staff here pays much better attention at every move you make, especially if it's wrong (i tested them just to see!). You will do right by your body coming here. I have been coming here for over 2 months since my bilateral knee replacement. The entire staff is very dedicated and willing to spend whatever time is necessary on treatment. They are constantly updating my care to ensure that my treatment evolves with my healing. The staff at Peak Performance is nothing less than fantastic. They helped me before and after my knee surgery last year, to regain the strength and flexibility. I will give them negative 5 stars if i can. This place is a ripoff. Liars cheaters money making people they should be ashamed to be in business which is suppose to help sick people.I went there for physical therapy for my shoulder and asked them on phone before going and upfront on the time of consultation and once agin before starting therapy on day one do i have any copays and ladies on reception said NO copays each and every time they pretended to check some thing in computer and also told me we will call ur insurance and find out and finally sd you have to pay nothing. After taking therapy on 6 days in 6 weeks they sent me $297 bills and said your insurance did not cover in full when i called they were rude and nit ready to listen and then i got a collection letter in mail from their attorney Jeffery G Lerman PC. Anyways i had to pay $297 because i don't want it to show on my credit report. I request you people do not ho there and support these people. read more

When it comes to physical therapy, Peak Performance in Wantagh is really the best. I've been to many P/T places over the years and this was the only one that I could honestly say I completed from start to finish. I made the right decision having total knee replacement and then the right decision having Peak do the P/T. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs P/T. I couldn't imagine having a better experience any where else other then at peak performance. Without a doubt, the nicest group of people I've ever met. Between all the therapist, the aids, and the girls at the desk, not once did I feel like "just another patient." Every time I had a question with my condition, I got a full honest answer not just something I wanted to hear. Also, my recovery felt really quick, even I was surprised. They USED to be good, but NOT ANYMORE! DO NOT GO HERE! The workers gossip and talk the entire time. Chatting is okay if it does not interfere with the treatment, but I have had my treatment affected many times by their workers that choose to chat over putting their full attention on the client. I never thought at 32 years old I'd be writing a review for a Physical Therapy Facility, let alone any review. I tore my ACL and needed surgery to repair it and other parts that I successfully damaged. My surgery kept unfortunately kept getting pushed further and further back until it got scheduled for the beginning of January. I could barely walk by the end of September my knee was so bad. However, by the end of December I was truly contemplating not going through with the surgery because of how far my knee had come due to the excellent service from Gio and his staff at Peak. Eventually I listened to Gio and went through with the surgery because this way I'm far less likely to re-injure my knee again in the future. With the new year our insurance changed and I am going to have to start PT somewhere else but i have already decided if it's not up to Peak Performance standards I am going back and will happily pay for it out of pocket because thats how incredible they are and I have heard that PT after the surgery is the toughest part. I'm probably going to go back bc I honestly can't imagine going anywhere else, just thinking of not going to PT anymore makes me kind of sad bc I enjoyed my time there and with everyone that much. read more

I came to Peak with a fractured shoulder and couldn't begin to imagine how I would ever be able to move it again. Dan and his wonderful team worked with me twice a week for three months and I have now regained my range of motion. They worked me hard each session by increasing the level of difficulty as I got stronger. I have more muscle now than when I started! Thanks to their caring approach, I will be able to maintain the exercises on my own. It was an excellent experience and I highly recommend Dan and staff. read more
