We booked an appointment and got an appointment conformation. Paid for through Groupon and she didn't answer the door or her phone

I don't do spa days very often admittedly. My husband got me a spa day here as a Christmas present…read more I love experiences versus presents. He killed it this year. By time I left here I was so relaxed, nothing could have riled me up! He purchased the CBD package for me. It comes with a body wrap, with a 15 minute extra massage (your basically getting a 65 minute massage. They body brush you, massage you with the CBD product, wrap you up, and while that's absorbing, they give you a scalp massage. I appreciated that the masseuse was careful with my hair. I have very curly hair, and she was gentle and assured my hair didn't look crazy after she was done. Then, after that's done, you get a pedicure as well. It's your standard pedicure, but they massage your legs with that CBD product as well. I really felt like everyone paid attention to detail here, and made sure you were comfortable at every moment. I really appreciated that. Since I don't do this often, sometimes I tend to feel a little out of place, but that wasn't possible here. I would come back in a heart beat, and suggest hinting to your significant other they get this for you as a gift. Or! Treat yourself, because self care is all the rage and wildly important if you ask me.

She went in for two appointments in the morning and clearly looked like she been crying all night. Between services she was on the phone with the corner about organ donations. They asked her if she wanted to go to her car and take a nap and make phone calls before an afternoon appointment. They do not care about there staff. Just remember when your getting services there, those ladies may be going through something tragic but asked to come do your service anyway. Never get services done by a buisness that treats the employees as slaves. I told my wife to walk far away from that place.

My experience started with my husband scheduling an hour massage for me for our anniversary…read more Unfortunately, the same day of my appointment we tested and the results came back positive. So the right thing in our mind is to let them know, regardless of the late notice. Understanding that this is a business I totally understand and felt like us explaining that we were sick, we were still wanting to let them know because we don't want to spread it. We were still charged the 50% for even letting them know, which I would think is an emergency. Now come to think of it, the only solution I felt like I could have happened was to just come in there sick with COVID without being transparent. It was also seeming like we HAD to reschedule or they would charge our card for the full amount. There was no consideration, customer service, or understanding at all regarding being sick. In addition, I wish there was a way if I schedule a full hour massage and I am running late (with communication) to get a massage for the remaining 45 mins isn't used? And I want to make it clear I understand being late or sick with COVID isn't anyones fault, but just wanted a little of consideration. Edit to add: Image is showing the time stamp of leaving this establishment - owner incorrectly stated I was 45 minutes late to my appointment, however to my understanding my appointment was at 11:45am so by the time I asked the front desk and get on the elevator, go in the back, get denied service, call my husband, and go out to take the picture it was 12:20pm. From my calculations that is 25 minutes, again ma'am what happened to the allotted time I was booked for... the full hour.. You just added an extra 20 minutes. So, no I don't understand...

My mom loved her facial and the staff was very friendly and inviting. However, not even 24 hours later and my manicure was RUINED. It's not like I was even doing any sort of intense activity that you would expect to have your nails chipped. Not worth the money I paid.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cheyenne Mountain Resort and would definitely stay here again…read more The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The king bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in, and we loved having a balcony overlooking the lake, golf course, and mountains. The room had plenty of storage, a nice workspace, and a large jetted soaking tub. The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and pet friendly, which was a huge plus since we travel with our dog. One thing to know before you arrive: the guest rooms are not located in the main lobby building. We didn't realize this and brought all of our luggage inside to check in before noticing the sign. Fortunately, our building was right next door, and the employee who checked us in kindly offered to help carry our luggage since there are no elevators. That level of customer service was much appreciated. A couple of things kept this from being a 5-star stay. The shower is inside the oversized soaking tub, so you have to climb in and out every time you shower. It wasn't the most practical setup, especially for anyone with mobility concerns. The air conditioner was also fairly loud when it kicked on, although it kept the room nice and cool. There was plenty of convenient parking near our building, but I was disappointed that self-parking is an additional charge. Overall, this is a beautiful resort with comfortable rooms, stunning views, and friendly staff. If you don't mind the extra parking fee and the tub/shower setup, it's a great place to stay while visiting Colorado Springs.

Secondly, the check in process was not the best. We arrived at 3:15pm and asked if our room was ready by any chance. They said no it's not ready but they got our number so that they could text us when it was ready. I don't think they will let you check in early even if its 45 minutes early even if the room is ready. Not only that, we stayed at Cripple Creek and there are no elevators. We had no idea there were no elevators. The front desk clearly saw that we had a stroller and a baby and they did not ask if we needed help with our luggage. My husband lugged up all our stuff up 3 flights of stairs to get to our room. I called Front desk to ask if there's any rooms in the main building (apparently, they have an elevator there) and they flat out told us that they were completely booked and were of no help. The room itself was fine, it was not worth the $$ paid. They really need to make renovations to this hotel for the price they're charging per night. It's not a "resort" by any means and definitely not worth the resort fee. The drinks at Elevations bar were not bad, but heavily overpriced. I'm sure the breakfast buffet was also overpriced for what you get. Overall, I would not stay here again.
