The space itself also felt a bit off to me--it had a strong chemical cleaning smell and didn't feel particularly welcoming or relaxing. I give this a0. The only reason they have good ratings is that they harass you before you get out the door to leave a review. Language barrier is huge. They do not take any medical history before the massage. And they are very brutal. I believe that they have fractured discs. Also, they use cheap lotion that's filled with ingredients that will cause an allergic reaction if you have sensitive skin. I'm going for an MRI and CT scan of my spine today. I wish that masssge places would not cover the windows, as it can give the impression that they are hiding the activities [[HIGHLIGHT]]inside. Inside, I was greeted by a friendly woman (same person who answered the phone) with a huge, friendly smile. Again, the language barrier is there -- but we were able to overcome it[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The massage itself was terrific. She began with her feet (but asked permission first), which was a great way to loosen up my back in a macro fashion. After, she then proceeded with her hands and really worked hard to get rid of my knot! I mean, she worked really hard to get it to go away! [[HIGHLIGHT]]She was great to ask periodically about whether the pressure was ok for me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What impressed me the most was that -- even though she was the only person on-duty and took a moment to greet the next client when he arrived -- she did not then rush to finish my massage. The next client was waiting, but she took her time to finish my whole hour without rushing. Maybe it's just me, but that made a great impression on me. In terms of parking, it's just street parking...but I didn't have any problem finding a spot. If I lived in Colorado Springs, I doubt that I would make Orchid my regular massage place.
