They are very accommodating even when I call last minute. I don't get my nails done often but it's getting more difficult to clip and file them with my arthritis. They have lots of techs and the ones that have worked on my toe nails and fingernails are gentle and thorough. My nails look so much better after each visit. When I went in the evening with my daughter there was a lot of laughter and when I went midday everyone was serious and working hard. read more

Made an appointment and when I showed up they said they were running an hour behind. Don't overbook or take walk ins if you're going to have people waiting around! I had a pedicure and a full set put on. The pedicure was ok but I had specifically asked for gel and they did regular polish. No big deal. The man who did my pedicure was friendly but was rushing the entire time. The woman who did my nails came over and started filing my nails while I was getting my pedicure. Not very relaxing. Again, no big deal. I asked for a acrylic gel French manicure. I told her what shape and she did a decent job but I had to have her fix several of the nails as they were completely crooked and uneven. The nails weren't filed down enough so they are very thick. When I went to go pay I noticed that my nail was see through and you could see my natural nail underneath. Her "fix" was adding another layer of polish. The end result was better but you could clearly see my natural nail underneath. $110 for a pedicure and acrylics. I don't mind spending that type of money if I have a good experience. I will not go back to this nail salon. read more

I called at 3:30 to see if they had an opening for 6, they said they did and I was thankful they were fitting me in. Perhaps that's why there is no attention to detail with the manicure and some nails came out better than others? Not the worst manicure I've had but certainly not the best. I will probably not be coming back based on the inconsistent outcome I had. Maybe they do a better job when it's not the end of day but i did pay for the same price anyone else would've paid so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ In conclusion, if you are a person looking for a nail tech to do their job without you having to tell them to fix something, etc I do not recommend this place. EDIT: So Tiffany from Ivy's Nails and Spa responded and left the following (catty) comment: "Thank you for addressing the almost perfect down to the one nail that was not up to your satisfaction. This whole review could have been avoided if you have addresses the issue with the tech at the time of service it wasn't done to your satisfaction. We would have been greatly oblige and fix it. Thank you for trying us out and have a great day" I would like to address this and say this manicure was FAR from perfect. It was ABSOLUTELY not only one nail that was the issue. I was trying to hold back in my initial review but since they want to get particular here is a FULL rundown of my experience: I called them for an appt at 3:30 for 6:15. They said they did have an opening I left work and went straight there. Got there a little early (6:00) and they took me in right away. The place isn't fancy looking but its not the worst place I've been to either, just a little but rundown. The gel manicure was $25 btw. The reason I needed to see them so soon was because I had my old manicure for a while and I had started to pick at it over the weekend. So much so that I had already redid my right hand (minus the gel polish) myself before I even got into Ivy's. Nail tech started doing my nails and it seemed to be going good but she also seemed distracted. It was the end of the day and her two kids were roaming around so she was addressing them a lot and she was also making conversation with other customers who were long time customers. I do not care about any of this personally but it clearly effected my manicure therefore if you are unable to multitask you probably shouldn't. that one nail I pointed out in the picture was not the only issue I had. ALL the shaping was inconsistent. I told her I had wanted almond shape and I shaped my right hand by myself so it needed to be touched up (I am not a nail tech and don't have all the best tools and I get my nails done for a reason). She did not shape my right hand at all. on the left hand, the pinky and ring were more rounded than the pointer and thumb. Not to mention the atrocity of the middle finger. ( I will post more pictures but I do want to note I touched up the middle finger myself afterwards a little to try to fix it) I dont understand how you shape a nail like that and think it looks okay. a manicure with inconsistent shapes does not look good. Besides the nail shape, the polish application was not that great. the edges just weren't as "clean" as I have gotten a manicure before at other places. and the random fiber that is stuck in between one of the layers on the left thumb, which I saw her notice during the manicure and pretend like it was being taken care of but clearly wasn't. I expect a good nail tech to take care of these things on their own. it is not my job to be nitpicky while you are doing my nails. if you're a good nail tech you will do a perfect job. yes, I could have asked the tech to fix all my nails and inconsistencies but in my experience of getting my nails done, when you go to a nail tech who makes that many mistakes and you continuously ask them to fix it, i have gotten attitude back ("wow you're picky huh") and I have gotten people that just don't get what needs to be fixed or are lazy and keep doing a bad job. So I have learned to just keep my mouth shut at the time and just not go back to that person/place. FURTHERMORE, i was not asked ONCE at ivy's by the nail tech to look over my manicure before painting to make sure everything looks okay THEREFORE I didn't even notice how badly shaped they were until I was walking out the door. In conclusion, this whole review would NOT have been avoided if I had told you everything that went wrong with this manicure. Regardless if they were fixed, I do not want to go into a nail salon and tell the tech how to do their job, I expect them to do a really good, nearly perfect job, on their own. I hope instead of making more catty comments you could learn from this and use the constructive criticism to better your service. read more

I wanted to like this place after seeing many people recommend it but I have to give 1 star. I had a gel manicure and I was happy with it immediately after. However only 3 days later, 5 of my 10 nails had peeled off. When I called, they were kind about it and said to come in and they would fix them. So I made an appointment for later that day. When I showed up they said the person who was going to fix my nails had a family emergency and had to leave. I understand emergencies happen but you need to notify your customers before they drive 20 minutes to a cancelled appointment. read more

I would rather get my nails done by fucking Tarzan in the jungle than ever go back to this place ever again. Let's start with my pedicure being done by a 15 year old CHILD who has no business doing ANYONE's nails. After an HOUR long pedicure where my toenails were ripped apart, I reluctantly agreed to let them do my manicure. After she ripped my previous powder off, she went right into dipping my nails into new powder without filing or cleaning up my cuticles. As this horrendous picture will show, my nails are thick as hell and have absolutely horrible shape. Id say the staff was nice but my mama told me that if I dont have anything nice to say about people I shouldnt say it at all. Seriously save your money. You are better off having a monkey do your nails blindfolded than this place. read more

Just visiting in this area and found their store on Yelp. My sister in law and I had pedicures done. We were 25 minutes early for our appointment but they were able to take us early.
