I went in for a consult with their very friendly and knowledgeable laser specialist Shane Deppen. She decided the best course of action for me go would be laser hair removal. She explained to me that in order for the hair to be removed the hair would need pigment. So the laser wouldn't do anything to any white hairs. Any normal person goes through about 6-8 sessions. Because I had fair and sensitive skin I needed 12 sessions. It felt like a rubber band snapping my skin. The upper lip was always the worst. But so worth it. My skin looks clear now. I still have to shave but only because I have white hairs on my face. I strongly recommend this procedure if you suffer from ingrown hairs and razor bumps.

Then they change their mind and said the dizzy spells might last a few days. Now it has been 10 days since my surgery and I'm still having serious dizzy spells. When I lay down, the whole room spins, fall over when I try to stand up or pick something up off of the floor. I feel aweful. I cannot work. This minor cosmetic improvment was not worth this horrible side effect. I am afraid it might be permenant. Not worth it.

The second is access to Allen's remarkable network of sensitive and competent healthcare providers at the secondary/specialist level, when needed. I had a difficult, painful situation requiring access to a good plastic surgeon. Allen located a good doc and referred me. The surgeon helped me through examination, diagnosis, surgery, and recovery. My regular primary care physician did not help half as much as Allen and the Novus ACS practice. I owe a big portion of my good health to his professionalism and kindness.
