During Covid times, I was able to see my new (PCP) primary care physician. I am so happy with Dr…read more Paul as he was personable, focused, has attention to detail and asks the right questions to get to the root of the problem. The layout of the office is very clean with a modern touch. Just remember that the office is street level so parking street side would be better off if you were like me with excruciating pain. If you park in the assigned parking lot you will have to climb the stairs and go to the right. I had excruciating pain going down my right leg so, I admitted myself into Lehigh Valley emergency room. They ran blood tests, urinalysis and CAT scan and found nothing. Nor could they infer anything (young doctor I suppose). The next day I went to go see Dr. Paul and he was extremely thorough with what the root cause was but you have to tell him everything so that he can deduce the proper procedure to recovery. I had a strained muscle in my lumbar about three weeks before and did not think that was the root problem since it only took me a day to recover. But, it turned out it was! I can't recommend enough to try to persuade anyone that this is one of the best doctors out there. I know they are hard to find so, I am definitely sticking with Dr. Paul. Give him a try even if you have a current primary care physician. I guarantee you you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Paul and his assistant Donna are particularly, GOOD and HONEST people. Dr. Paul is so easy to talk to and he actually listens, and then takes the time to explain to you whats going on and what the best route of treatment is. He is very knowledgeable! He's been my doctor for going on 3 years now and I still enjoy seeing him for his fantastic advice and passion for results. He genuinely wants to help people save their own lives and live healthy as possible in todays world. I truly got lucky finding Advanced Primary Care. A place that I can trust, and that actually cares. Best Family Doctor or PCP I've met in the valley and I've lived here over 20 years. Thank you guys for everything you do !

If you have to do the hospital thing at LVHN for whatever reason this is the place you want to…read moregoing to. It's sooo much less chaotic and ridiculous than Cedar Crest in every possible way. I despise all the Yelp lemmings who use this term but here are a few pro tips to help you with your Muhlenberg experience. * Patient parking here at times is still an issue. Not an issue like at Cedar Crest but if you come during the day on weekdays unless you trust your car to the valet staff expect to walk a bit. Too many people camp out in the Health Spectrum Pharmacy spaces for hours and too many staff park wherever even though they have designated areas. Security supposedly is tough on the enforcement front against that type of stuff but trust me, in reality, they're not. * Way too many people come to the ER here for a bunch of total nonsense which causes wait times to balloon. Next door there is an ExpressCare location which is in essence LVHN's version of a Patient First or an EmergiCenter. Of course the downside to the ExpressCare versus the other two would be the significantly shorter hours. The upside would be the non-existent wait because everyone is running to the ER for the sniffles. I've done the ExpressCare thing now three times in the past two years and I've never waited to be seen more than ten minutes. * Speaking of the ExpressCare, another great end around versus waiting hours in the ER is if you're coming for some kind of testing or imaging is to either first go to your PCP and get a scrip or go to the ExpressCare and get a scrip then you can head up to the Diagnostic Care Center on the 2nd floor and more or less have little to no wait versus camping out in the ER for hours for something like an X-Ray. * Last thing would be compared to the miserable experience you're almost certain to have if you get a scrip filled at the Health Spectrum Pharmacy at Cedar Crest, the staff here is beyond great and the wait is never bad. Good spot overall and things indeed are run far more efficiently and smoothly. Definitely come here versus Cedar Crest.

Do not bring your loved one to this hospital!!!! We brought our mother in for a kidney stone and…read moreshe never came home, we lost her on mother's day. We were told initially the kidney stone was all they found during testing. (I realize these are painful) Over the next few days she became more & more confused & we were told she had sepsis. Then a day later we were told she had a mass. The way she cried out in pain for an hour at a time, screaming "God help me" , we had to chase the staff down to get her pain meds and still had to wait an hour. Would a doctor let their own mother scream in pain for an hour? This happened 3 times!!! I was holding my mother's hand by her bedside to console her & the cleaning lady that came in to clean the floor demanded I sit down so she could clean, I'm worried about my mother's life, I'm sure the floor can wait. My friend looked at me like did she really just say that?!?! When we decided hospice was the next choice we had a friend who advocated for us to go to the St Luke's Hospice house. We had a meeting with the doctor & palliative care staff, they really didn't answer any of our questions. When asked why my mother is now passing away from a kidney stone, their answer was a multitude of reasons. Very vague. She had to stay there yet overnight because of transportation purposes. We were told they would keep her comfortable every 2 hours with pain meds. I didn't want to leave her, but i needed to go home to get a few hours of sleep. I came back at 8 am and found her with a mouth full of mucus she was choking on as she was trying to yell out in pain. I asked the nurse when she had her pain meds last and the response was "i think at 4:00 am". What?!?!?? I think???? I had to ask to have her mouth suctioned out and it took over 20 min to a half hour until they came in to help . These are the final memories that will always haunt us. I do have to give the credit where it's due, we had several amazing nurses who sincerely care about their patients. They were amazing. But I will never step foot in this hospital again.

When I presented with complex and rare…read moremedical symptoms, instead of conducting a thorough evaluation or referring me to appropriate specialists, he dismissed my concerns and attributed my pain to "widespread joint issues and anxiety" without proper investigation. I later learned from the appropriate specialists that I was suffering from multiple serious medical conditions -- including one requiring rib removal, another involving bone and ligament removal in the neck and skull region, and a lymphatic obstruction that required an additional surgery.

My brother was placed with a mean patient who never got out of bed, had foul odors that caused one to vomit, refused to open the curtains so my brother could enjoy the sunshine and/or fresh air. The staff was sub par. There were the few that were awesome, the rest.... mediocre at best. On any given day there would be feces on the curtains, the sink or the counter. Even after complaining it was days before it would get cleaned up. When my brother would go to church the asshole staff would not put his or other's coats on properly. They were put on backwards. Why? Simply because they were lazy! It was embarrassing to say the least. Now to Dr. Clinton Hulomzer............ if you want to die, be under his care. My brother was on a feeding tube simply to save his life from when he vomitted on an ambulance ride while under the care of the Lehigh County Home/Cedarbrook. That's anther novel. I was close to having the tube removed while he was under interim care at Manor Care n 17th Street. He was allowed to pleasure feed, and he was eating flawlessly. Little did I know when he was transferred to GSH they claim to have had a policy that if someone comes in with a feeding tube it never comes out. B FN S! In fact, the tube for my brother kept coming out. Dr. Crappo Hulomzer said he would replace it. He never did. I was on vacay in OH and spoke with him by phone and asked why it never got replaced. His response, "YOUR BROTHER WILL NEVER EAT BY MOUTH AGAIN!" Oh really asshole! I proved him wrong. My brother has no feeding tube and has not aspirated once under my care of 7 yrs. NOT ONCE! Yet under YOUR foul care he was in the hospital about every 8 months for POSSIBLE aspiration!!!!! Again, another novel about Lehigh Valley Hospital and the incompetent boobs that work there! The final 6 months that my brother was there 4 people died from things like staff infections. Those are needless deaths. I'm 100% convinced that had he stayed there, he would have died, as well!!!! He was skeletal under your care. He's now healthy and vibrant, has a very active social life, and eats whatever the hell he wants!!!!! Go F yourself Hulomzer! You are a moron and a foul turd!
