I called in the winter to get a new patient appointment. It was scheduled for August 10th. I called from Route 22 as I was stuck in slow traffic in the rain, and the receptionist that answered said I had a 10 minute window or I lose the appointment. When I stated I was passing Route 512, she said well you'll have to reschedule. I said I'll be there in 10 minutes and she told me not to bother. I did get there and was told I would not be seen. Finally, she stated I could see a different doctor at 1:30 PM. I waited from 10:00 AM. At 1:20, I asked if I needed to do any other paperwork, and her response was just one paper, and pay the Co-Pay and I'd be taken back soon. I asked again about 1:50, 'it'll be soon' and at 2:10 PM, I asked and they were 'still waiting for a room'. I left. If that is the value they place on their patients AND the first impression they want to make, their manners are sadly lacking, specifically the receptionist I had to deal with. read more

I'm not going back. It's not just the assembly line care. treated me on the right shoulder with scrape and burn for a lesion that would not heal, had me waiting and waiting when he did finally biopsy it it was squamous cell and had to be removed. Now I have a silver dollar size skin graft and nerve damage which could've been avoided had he biopsied in the first place. There are other things as well I don't wanna get into all of it. Find somewhere else to go do yourself a favor. read more

Took 6 months to get an appointment that lasted 6 mins. Was essentially told we're all different and pushed out. Staff was extremely rude and unprepared. I left and had to turn around because the nurse forgot to give me my paper work. I was told a pharmacy would call me in a few hours. 24hrs later I called the office and said, the pharmacy never called. They said, call the pharmacy. I said what pharmacy? What number? They said your pharmacy. I was told it was going to a separate pharmacy they work with but was somehow supposed to know the name and number for this... I got the number and called and the pharmacy in Alabama (we are in PA) and they said they don't do prescriptions to call the office back. The office is still looking into it. Despite having so many employees in there, somehow, it's the customers responsibility to do all the paper work and manage the logistics of the prescriptions. Rude staff, don't recommend. read more

Dr. Zaladonis gives a very thorough examination. He catches ordinary skin problems before they become major problems. He is very professional and also friendly. He takes time to explain. My husband and I have been patients for many years. He keeps his appointments. There is very little waiting to see the Dr. In the many times we have been there, no one in that office has ever been rude. read more

Getting an appointment is advance of 6 -12 months is impossible. And their policy that requires a referral from a general practitioner is ridiculous. My insurance (Blue Cross) does not require referrals but this practice does? Exhausting. read more

Because I had skin cancer on my face, my dermatologist referred me to Dr. Veronica Rutt who is a Mohs surgeion. She is affiliated with Dr. Joseph Zaladonis' practice. Excellent experience. She performed a small miracle when she removed the cancer from my left cheek. There is no evidence of a scar. Dr. Rutt personally phoned me the following day to see if I was feeling alright. She also gave me her phone number in case I needed to contact her. To conclude, if you need Mohs surgery, I would highly recommend Dr. Rutt - a highly professional, compassionate surgeon. read more

Dr. Zaladonis is the most fantastic wonderful doctor you could ever have the privilege of going to for treatment. In addition to being a great doctor and extremely personable and friendly, he is also an absolute mensch. I cannot say enough good things about him. No reason to ever go to anyone else. Also Dr. Zaladonis has his own skincare line of products. I just started using the benzoyl peroxide face wash and I absolutely love it. This review is for the receptionists, not the Doctor himself. While the doctor may be a nice individual, his staff is extremely rude! The lady I just spoke with hung up on me. While I understand everyone has a bad day, these women are the first point of contact for this business - I would suggest better training or a new individual with better manners! read more

Dr Zaladonis needs to retire. I had an appt today with him today that was scheduled a year ago and had to take one hour of vacation time from work to get there by 4:15. Wasn't called back until 5 (no apologies, no thanks for waiting). Then the less than thorough exam lasting 3 minutes. I have no peace of mind that I was checked properly. And he was "teaching" an intern. Hopefully she doesn't follow his lead. I will be on the hunt for a new compassionate dermatologist. read more

The rudest staff I have ever experienced!! I called for an appointment today. Granted, I asked for them to try and squeeze me in. They couldn't, which was fine. However, I thanked the woman who looked up my information ... she then hung up on me as if my business didn't matter to her. She didn't even try to schedule me another time or ask me any additional questions. So I wonder, do I call back and try to get an appointment when they have one,.... or is it better to look for a new dermatologist? It is a shame that we have to deal with unprofessional people to get to great doctors. I am looking for another dermatologist ... I do not need to be treated like I do not matter. read more

I went to see Dr. Zaladonis about 10 years ago with my dear Mother-in-Law, then at Moravian Village Retirement home, with a history of skin cancer. He treated her with extreme kindness. She did indeed have skin cancer that needed treatment. She recently past away at almost 98 years due to unrelated causes. I have taken my teenage son to him for the usual adolescent problems and have gone myself for a hard to diagnose skin problem. My husband has also seen him. He, as has been said, very personable and highly competent. I did not encounter the staff problems as noted. My impression was that they were extremely busy. read more
