How utterly disgraceful to use such an unethical strategy to try and get business. Needless to say, I walked straight out after informing him that I enjoy their coffee. Menu was simple but reasonable choice. Try the chicken or beef burger(s) as they are great - come with good chips. Corn fritters went down fast, too. Just loved it - good quality. There was band playing jazz, giving a very relaxed atmosphere. Coffee was good. Our dog was provided a bowl of water. Great spot to chat or relax away an afternoon. It is busy at lunchtime. The chairs are comfortable and well spaced between clients so you certainly don't get that cramped feeling. Grab a seat outside if you can. Inside can get quite loud with the constant smashing at the coffee machine. Would I return? With the plentiful cafe offerings along the stretch, I would be inclined to test some of the others first before making a final decision, purely based on the quality of my coffee. It's not unusual to have to blatantly flag down the staff members to just order, too. Again, the food sizes are generous and taste pretty good, so it's still worth it if you've got time to wait.
