Saturday morning, my sister friend & I drove from Mira Mesa to this nail salon specifically because their Instagram still showed they were doing free pedicures with a full set. My sister called Saturday morning to set an appointment & we were told "you can just walk in"...... okay cool. We walk in, all the tables are full & I'd say there were about 10 ladies waiting. We check in on their iPad with no assistance. There are a million options that have no description of what even comes with the service so some guidance would've been nice. The lady at the front desk didn't smile at ALL. I asked "are you guys still doing the free pedicure with a full set?" & says: "No." Most people who know how to work a customer service position might say something like "oh, we actually don't have that special anymore but we do have ______". But just plain out "No." ??? After we struggling with picking the service we wanted, she told us to have a seat... I was wondering if she wanted me to sit on the floor because there was no seating. If the customer service was better, if the front desk was more polite, I really wouldn't have minded a little wait time. But with the attitude I was given on a Saturday morning after having a yummy breakfast & my iced coffee, it was disappointing to be given this bad taste in my mouth. We left immediately because it didn't really seem like she cared to have our business anyway. I genuinely wanted to support this new business. After five visits with different technicians, I can say with certainty this is the most disappointing and overpriced salon in Escondido. The owner's response claims the 3-hour appointments were my preference. To clarify: that reflected your technician's pace, which your own manager confirmed when she called me to say he was uncomfortable with me being "too picky." When I asked her to recommend someone more skilled in acrylics, she refused, stating every technician deserves a fair chance regardless of ability. My first visit was with your manager herself. She left my acrylics visibly crooked and redirected me to someone else rather than fix her own work. The pedicure included with every new full set was never provided across multiple visits. I arrived with text-confirmed appointments and was told I had none, waiting over an hour each time. The interior is beautiful. The service is not. I have since found a salon that respects my time, delivers consistent quality, and treats every client with genuine care. The difference was immediate. read more

To be completely honest im not really loving this place, i have been here time and time again and i just feel like the work is kinda rushed:/ The workers here are so nice and patient but for what im paying i just feel like they could be doing a bit better. Came in for a pedicure today which i do normally get, but the person who worked on me was a bit rough when cleaning my nails and i did let him know, i was also a bit bothered when i saw him starting to file his own fingernails while waiting for my polish to cure and then use the same file on my nails... a bit gross to say the least. I walked in on a Monday morning and was taken straight back to the pedicure room for a rose and champagne pedicure and basic manicure. The salon itself is really clean and has nice new equipment. Very modern and well decorated. I was offered my choice of beverage when I sat down - there's a really nice selection! The pedicure itself is $80 for regular polish but I don't do polish on my toes. It started with my tech Henry just pouring cold champagne on my legs. Honestly, I didn't care for it. He used a pedi in a box kit which was fine. The products seem like they are good quality but the pedicure itself was pretty mediocre. He barely worked on my calluses and even though it's supposed to come with a 15 min massage, he only did 11 mins which was annoying when I'm paying for an $80 pedi. The manicure was fine but he kept scratching my fingers with the buffer and it really hurt! I did get polish and he did a nice job on that. Overall, not a great value for the pedi but maybe I will try again with one of the more basic pedicures or with a different tech. read more

Do NOT come for the head spa. My friend & I came last Friday for the head spa & booked at 10am. At 10:15 we were brought back to a small room by one girl. She had us put robes on and lay down. She showed me her phone timer was set to 60 minutes and started. My friend was just laying there & the girl said someone would be in soon to work on her. I can't be certain exactly when, but a good 5-10 minutes later another lady came in & started on my friend. It was soooo distracting as they kept chit chatting with eachother while giving us a massage. Another thing to make note of - this is NOT a head spa experience. It's basically an Asian foot massage without your feet being touched. Essentially they just give you an arm and hand massage and then wash your hair. The time spent on your hair is soooo minimal. Literally they run water over it a few times and call it a day. Back to the massage -- when my friends rep came in and started on her, she kept sneezing and sniffling her nose. Again, so distracting and pretty gross. There were a few times I was going to tell her to just excuse herself and blow her nose. At the end my friend even brought up to me how fearful she was that snot was going to drip on her, lol. Once finished, my rep had me sit on a small stool and she started blow drying my hair. After about 1 minute she said I was all done. I went up front to wait for my friend with wet hair. Less than 5 minutes later my friend came out also with wet hair. All in all I'd avoid getting a headspa treatment here. There was nothing "head spa" about the experience. I'd recommend getting a $45 hour foot massage down the road and save yourself the time, money and avoid disappointment. I tried submitting my feedback to their automated email / text that goes out, but once you hit submit it just says "unable to be submitted" Very disappointing. $85 EACH for a service that we ultimately did not receive. read more

I've been to this nail salon three times now, hoping for a spark of excellence, but sadly, it feels like the magic fizzled out. While I appreciate their effort, this last visit was a letdown: the quality of the gel polish peeled off within less than a day. The pedicure was fine. The full set and "manicure" I got was horrible. The power was done so thick. He dis not clean under the nails so now I have the hardened power under my nails. There is a noticeable gap. I even told them I did not want that gap. When I asked for some corrections, the guy seemed annoyed. So I didnt say anything. Do not spend your money here. Huge nail salon with 3 different rooms with spa pedicure chairs, the front is nails only & it's also huge. Very clean, the people at the front reception are very warm & welcoming. They offer complimentary beverages (adult & non alcoholic). I got the detox pedicure & a reg gel manicure & my brows waxed and it was $104 without tips. Both nail techs & wax lady were all great. The nail tech I had was GREAT. It wasn't him it was the place. The attitude here is very gloomy and the prices are very high for what you get. They also have different prices for cash vs card and the difference is extremely different. Outrageously different. They also "forgot" to mention I would be charged an additional $7 for white tips or a French tip on my toes. I get most places do charge a bit more. But I asked and they said NO till I was at the front paying. I drove out here from LA for an event and decided to stop in since they also advertised on a sign outside and on their IG that you get a free pedicure with full set. That wasn't not the case. So I did not get a full set. Only did a pedicure and probably spent way too much for the time spent on my feet. It feels like they are in a rush to get you in out. They also have a sign stating you get a discount with a full set. But they told me that wasn't valid either. Sorry I didn't get pics of the free pedicure sign. Got my nails done on a Monday then came in on Friday because my right hand nail polish was peeling. On Friday I checked in and the guy asked what I wanted done so I told him what was happening then sat down. I waited 40 minutes until someone came to talk to me and said that I should come back in 2 hours because they were busy. I explained to her what was going on and all I needed was just my right hand redone. And she still said to come back in 2 hours. I told her I live 30 minutes away and I'm not going to do that. Then she said I could wait and she will see if someone could do it quickly. I told her that she already told me to leave so why would I wait and it's not like it was my fault my polish was peeling. I said I would maybe come back the next Monday but I didn't go back because I think it was messed up for them to tell me to come back in 2 hours after waiting 40 minutes. I will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone again read more

11 days and nails breaking off. Called and asked if they can fix per their policy no only with in 5 day period. They have to charged me up to 10 dollars. The male nail tech who did them glued them so on the edge of my nail ( nails were extremely short) nails are VERY thick and when he did them he was very rough, he used a thick nail filer to file them down, instead of the machine they use. He ignored me every time I said they were thick or looked crooked, he said I'll fix. Well he made them thin from width. And free pedicure?? No they charge if you have gel! And callus removal? DON'T GO HERE! There is a large handful of reasons why this place doesn't deserve any of our business whatsoever. First of all, I went in to get my eyebrows waxed and I was just trying to have some small talk with the technician that they gave me so that we could get to know each other better and have a good time but things very quickly escalated from there. There was a very big language barrier which I was very understanding of but once it came time for the actual waxing, the wax was way too hot and my skin felt like it was burning which I tried to explain to the technician but she was just not understanding me and kept going forward with the service saying "it's okay, it's okay". Once she pulled the wax off of my face, I felt immediate pain and sensed that something was not right. I kept trying to tell her and warn her that I was uncomfortable and in pain but she kept going on with the service. Once the technician finally offered me the mirror, I was so in shock. She had burned and ripped the skin right off of my face! Even though we couldn't understand each other very well you could tell that even she knew she had messed up by her body language. She kept offering me aloe and tried to say something about how going back in with the tweezers was not a good idea.. I paid and I left thinking that maybe it was just something tiny and that it would go away by the next day.. it did not! I came back in the next day and asked to speak to the manager and they directed me to this teenage boy who I knew was not the manager since I have been here before. I asked once again to direct me to the real manger and they still tried to play me by just giving me the front desk lady. I was over it so I ended up just talking to her about my horrible experience and kindly tried to explain to her that this wasn't right and how they should warn the worker to be more careful in the future. She was very rude to me and just down right disrespectful. First, she told me that "when she saw me leaving the day before she could obviously see that something wasn't right and she knew that I would be back". Then, she goes onto blaming me saying that my skin was just sensitive or that it was my fault or my skin care affected the process which I knew that it wasn't my skin or my skin care Becuase I have been waxing everything from my face to my body most of my life and nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I am a few years younger than her but that doesn't give her the right the talk down on me; I am a paying customer. After some back and fourth arguing she offered me a refund and told me "that is wasn't anything crazy and to just put some Aquaphor on it". A few days later, the pain was just unbearable so I went to the doctors and it turned out to be a 2nd degree burn.. Aside from this whole eyebrow waxing situation, I had been there before for a set of nails and I can loudly say that the service was rushed, sloppy and just overall terrible. The worker was sweet until she wasn't. The design was simple and yet it still came out ugly. The free pedi that they offered with the full set was also sloppy and rushed. Nothing lasted the amount of time that it should've at all. Every single staff member in there was rude, childish and incompetent. The customer service was worse than anything I have ever experienced in my life! Especially for the price of everything here too, they are way too overpriced for the service that they provide back. This place may be fancy-looking and pretty but don't let that fool you! I am absolutely disgusted. I will never be coming back and neither should anyone else. Spend your time and money at a place that actually deserves it and cares about you and your time, not just your money! read more

I understand this is a busy service especially on weekends, but taking the time to note regulars and providing a more welcoming environment would help. The last 3 times I've gone to get a pedicure I've timed my service and it's 28-33 minutes Though they advertise it to be 45 minutes. The 5 minute massage is advertised, but all 3 times a singular toe is continuously pet followed by whoever is doing the service stopping, looking at the tv, petting my toe again etc. At first I felt like this location had a lot of potential now it just feels like another spot who overbooks and rushes clients. Anne and Bi are incredibly talented and take the time to really make sure you have a great experience. I get the same thing every single time yet they still make sure the service and quality is consistent and that I leave feeling like 1 million bucks every time the atmosphere of the salon contributes to the overall vibe being very relaxing and their attention to detail is unmatched. This salon can be a hit or miss depending on which nail technician you get and how busy they are. I have a go to salon, but I decided to give this place a try because their Instagram suggested they have talented, artistic nail techs -- which is partially true, though not all seem to have that skill level. My first visit went really well, the technician did a great job with my manicure design. On my second visit, I booked a gel mani with a simple nail art and a gel pedi. The tech who did my pedicure was ok, but the 10-minute "massage" was really just a light rub and could've been much better. The tech who did my manicure seemed inexperienced with nail art but decided to take it on anyway, and unfortunately, another technician had to redo it. I've also noticed inconsistency with their customer service -- sometimes you're offered a beverage, sometimes not. I wasn't offered one during my last visit, and I waited for someone to ask. Overall, for their price point, the service could definitely be improved. The salon is newer and fancier than most in Escondido, but both the quality of service and artistry should match the upscale presentation and prices. read more

I felt like the manicure was rushed, the guy didn't apply the nails properly and I've had 3 GelX nails come off within one week, which has never happened to me with GelX. He also didn't go back and clean up the inside of the nail so there was a bunch of glue left over. He also used his own nail to dig into mine (it already had an issue and I wasn't going to even have him work on it but he insisted) I was bleeding and he used a dirty clipper to get in there, never cleaned off the blood and just kept working. Used the nail dehydrator on the bloody nail and even applied the GelX nail right over it. Definitely disappointed in the quality and the overall cleanliness the nail tech displayed. read more
