Good for the value. I had a lactic acid deluxe facial yesterday. The facial was good but no noticeable difference today. To be fair, I do have routine skincare. I was left completely gooey and needed to wash my face, neck, and shoulders when I got home. A hot towel wipe down would've been nice. I agree with another reviewer that this is not a relaxing facial. Sabine is witty and funny but will talk the entire time about how great she is at waxing, skincare, etc. It was slightly offputting. I am absolutely furious with my eyebrow wax. I declined multiple times because I prefer to do my own. She insisted she would not change the shape and would just clean up. My eyebrows are completely ruined. She overly thinned them, shortened them, they're different lengths from the center, reduced my arch, and have completely different angles. After crying most of yesterday because it's my face, I'm just livid every time I look in the mirror. I'm mostly angry at myself for letting her pressure me. I'm just hoping that they grow back nicely and not patchy so I can fix them. Now, I have to deal with months of the awkward growing out phase if they grow back properly with any luck. read more

Best wax EVER! I hadn't gotten a Brazilian in a while. I texted the number to request an appointment. Sabine was quick to reply and made booking easy. FIY, She does not accept SpaFinder gift cards. Her salon was easy to find on Grand -- right across from Burger Bench in the mall area. Her shop was cozy and welcoming. Her technique was great because it had been a year and she pulled those strips off without it hurting too much. She kept the conversation going and made me laugh a lot. I have been going to Sabine for the past 5+ years and every time I see her we always talk up a storm, she is one to multi task but she knows what she's doing. She is excellent with any body parts for waxing, right now she is the only one I trust with my eyebrows. She also does bikini and she makes you feel ultra conformable - she doesn't embarrass you with weird positions or your leg up you basically just lay there and she'll do the work. She'll recommend certain facials if you ask. (My first glycolic peel was on here because I didn't believe her) Prices are reasonably cheap :) She also gives you gifts for the holiday season. If you do want to book her - book her in advanced (a week at least) because this is her business who runs this business and her appointment book ALWAYS fills up. Sabine is AMAZING! I can't even express how thankful I am for her. I hardly ever have a massive breakout session but this month I did, just from stress and lacking on my daily skincare routine. I made an appointment for a facial 2 weeks in advance, but realized my face was not getting better with my help, so I contacted Sabine and she squeezed me in that weekend in the morning. THANK GOODNESS. Sabine is the nicest, funniest, smartest woman I have ever met. She is real with you, which is great because you need someone to be completely honest with you. She is great at communicating with you the whole time to make you feel completely relaxed and safe. She is so sweet and has so much knowledge on skincare, life, literally anything! She loves her job, she loves what she does everyday, and you can honestly tell. That facial saved my skin. She first prepped my skin with steam, used a hot towel to really open up my pores, popped everything, used an exfoliating enzyme mask, another mask, and moisturized my face and neck. All of my blemishes totally disappeared within a day, redness gone, scars gone, everything gone. My skin is so much better after just one facial! It's been 3 days and everything is gone. My skin is the best it's been. I can't wait to come back for another facial in a couple of weeks, and possibly a brazilian wax (what she is known for). She gave me a free eyebrow waxing as it is included with any facial. The facial itself was $39. I also learned with her waxes that she charges based on the amount of hair and work she has to put in. So there is no set wax pricing. Then I bought her exfoliating enzyme mask (with papaya!!) and that was 20% off with a facial (SCORE!) Timewise, it was an hour, so the perfect time for everything. .
