This guy! What a great technician. He showed up on time. Dressed professionally! Had smile and showed he was eager to help. I needed service to my oven and dishwasher. He told me how to improve the function of my dishwasher and it worked. Said it didn't need repair. He was right! Don't need a new dishwasher! Then he checked out my oven and said it was probably a bad breaker. He said he was not an electrician and he'd have to get an electrician involved. But, he said, YOU can do that. I did. It worked! Don't need a new oven! He saved me several hundred bucks. Can't say enough about Patrick Smith's service. The height of professionalism. He charged a modest call fee, which I was happy to pay. Monday morning I received a call back from Mellisa, she got me all set up with an appointment that fit my time schedule. By Tuesday 4:45pm my dryer was running like brand new. Patrick showed up right on time and was very professional and took the time to give the whole dryer a look over. Pricing was good, much better than previous quote I had gotten. Was given this company via select home warranty. Called company for service. Staff on the other end super rude and unprofessional. Answered the phone talking to an entire another person, so i asked is this Smith Appliance, the staff person on the other end became extremly rude and told me she was on another line and her child picked up the phone by mistake. I can understand that i have children but she was extremely rude and talked as if it was my fault and she also hung up the phone. No people or customer service skills. It seemed like a in home family business. This is really sad during these times. You never know how events can change from day to day. It was difficult to find someone to service our LG washing machine during COVID-19, but Patrick came out, took the necessary precautions and installed the new pump it needed. Had to wait 5 days to get a visit for washer that wouldn't spin, but worth it. Patrick Smith easy to talk to. He could have recommended an expensive fix, but he found the problem was a plastic switch that the nylon probe on the front of the lid fits into. He offered to wire around the switch and save me $50 after asking if there were small children. Now we would stop spinning, if we had to, by pushing in timer dial. He charged his his minimum of $80. The Whirlpool washer is 17 years old, but hasn't had problems until now. read more

Rude and incompetent, what a combo! This appears to a mom and pop shop that only works on Wednesdays ("we don't make service calls other days") I was told by Mrs. Smith while a baby was crying in the background on the phone and she had to put me on hold to stop the crying. Mr. Smith was out the week before to "fix" a washer that was not draining. He "cleared the line" which was what I was doing every time while waiting a week for his "service." He got paid and within 2 days the problem started again. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to Mrs. Smith she resolved the problem, for him and her, by stating "maybe you should find someone else to fix your problem." I will. And I'll also let everyone I can know how rude and incompetent Smith's Appliance Repair is. read more
