Two installers came to my residence to install countertops that was purchased thru home depot in…read moreCleveland Tn. The existing countertops were already removed as well as the dishwasher was disconnected from the existing counter top and sink was disconnected from the plumbing. These installers used a covered outlet that was on the outside of my house for an electric tool. My husband asked the guy who appeared to be in charge if he would reconnect the dishwasher to the countertop. He agreed. When the job was finished, the dishwasher was NOT connected, the covered electric outlet that was outside was NOT closed, the countertop edges had what appeared to be glue on them that had to be scraped off. My husband texted the installer about reconnecting the dishwasher to the countertop, the guy replied back that it was "not level", my husband had leveled it himself and told this installer that. Installer never wrote back. We went to HD where we placed the order and spoke to the sales rep. She called her contact and was told that the installer would call my husband back. That never happened, have heard nothing from either installer and we now have to pay someone else to finish the job. We will NEVER buy another thing from HD and will never use them for any other installation . The name of the service provider on our order summary is "Cookeville Kitchens" . PO # 43426644 ......Terrible Experience and I will never again use them.

His contract clearly stated I'd pay half upfront and the rest upon installation, which I agreed to. The job was supposed to take two weeks--but it dragged on for months. During that time, I texted him repeatedly. He responded with constant excuses--other jobs ran over, workers were sick, something always came up. He apologized often, but nothing ever moved forward. Eventually, he just stopped responding altogether. After weeks of silence, I sent a firm message saying it was unacceptable to be ignored. That's when he finally replied--but instead of giving me a date for installation, he demanded the remaining balance before delivering the cabinets. That had never been part of our agreement. Now I understand why--he had ruined them and didn't want me to see the damage before getting paid. Thankfully, I refused. What happened next was disturbing. He sent me a hostile email threatening me and my family, saying he was a former police officer and that the local police "wouldn't help me." It was completely unprofessional and unhinged. When I finally saw the cabinets, I was shocked. The finish was ruined--nicks, deep gouges, uneven sanding--every single door was damaged beyond repair. If he had just been honest, we could've figured something out. But instead, he chose threats and deception. Avoid this company. I deeply regret ever trusting him.
