The atmosphere, the food and the staff at the Rendezvous are excellent. To add to the atmosphere was the music which I learned was actually streaming the bartenders iPod via Pandora Internet radio. This was music to my ears (pun intended). I believe that the good music can be as important as pairing wine or drinks with food and Ashley had it dialed in. While at the bar I ordered a Kettle One Martini with a lemon twist. The drink was delivered and look liked any other martini but then I took a drink. The martini was very smooth and the lemon twist was incredible. In fact it may have been the best Martini I ever had. If you are looking for a great atmosphere, great service and possibly the best Martini's you'll ever have then make it a point to visit Ashley at the Rendezvous lounge. I should mention something about the food since I did eat 3 meals there. Of course the Martini's were a big draw but the food is equally good. Over the 3 nights that I dined at the Rendezvous Lounge I had roasted pears and Brie Quesadilla, Wedge Salad with thick cut bacon, Chesapeake Blue Crab Bisque, Central Market Salad with goat cheese and cranberries and their seared tuna. All of which were presented nicely and tasted wonderful. I recommend any of these small plates depending on what your in the mood for.
