I had contacted Jamy, signed a contract, and put down a deposit for a FEMALE mini Aussie. I also paid for the flight nanny since I was unable to fly and get her myself. There were no updates on how the puppy was doing while getting older and I was given less than 24 hours notice that the flight nanny was coming with the puppy. Up until that point there was no information/communication provided about the arrival date. I arrive at the airport and meet up with the flight nanny only to realize they sent a MALE aussie, with completely different markings than the FEMALE Aussie I had paid for. The flight nanny said she couldn't take the puppy back with her. I contacted Jamy immediately, via call and text, and she declined all my calls and didn't respond until late that night. She also requested that I send her a photo of the puppies genitalia as proof. She then blamed her husband for sending the wrong dog. The paperwork she sent with the male dog belonged to the female dog I had originally chosen, but I had no idea if the puppies came from the same liter to know if the vet records were accurate or not. Jamy said she would take the puppy back and refund the price of the dog, but not the $500 for the flight nanny. Or I could pick another dog from a new litter, but I would have to pay for the flight nanny to return the wrong dog ($500) and the flight nanny for the new dog (additional $500). At that point I would have paid more for the all the flight Nanny's than the original price of the dog... I did decide to keep the male puppy since he had already been at my home and was settled in. And I was not going to send him back to a breeder that couldn't even tell a male and female dog apart. He is very healthy and handsome, but we're having to work through some reactivity issues around other dogs. In hindsight, I'm glad I could rescue him from those who run J&B mini Aussies and give him the life and attention he deserves. But I would NOT recommend anyone give these people anymore money.

This is Iza the night we got her.

We've purchased our lovely Iza from J&B around a year ago. I do have to say I wished Jamy could have sent us more updates about the puppy while she still had her. That bothered us at the time. Also, there was some confusion on the puppy flight to LA, so she ended up landing in Orange County. For those two reasons, I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5. That said, Jamy knows a lot about the breed and was really nice when I spoke to her over the phone. I had a lot of questions and she answered all of them. She seemed open and knowledgeable. I'm happy to say we've had a super healthy pup from day 1. And she has the best temperament. Really! She is just so sweet. Jamy also sent a lot of information about safety and also about the breed with the puppy which was nice. Also, she had to give us some money back from the flight. So that shows some honesty.

Tells me she won't send pictures of the puppy

SCAMMED my wife and I out of close to $3,000.00! My wife and I found J&B via an internet search and initially everything seemed reputable: website seemed diverse, in that there were various litters with various dates; breeder has a Facebook group, where previous people have purchased puppies and in the beginning, everything seemed ok. July 14, 2021: We contacted Jamy a few days after our puppy was born, once we texted the number on the website she responded with a deposit form of $750. We paid the money and only saw the picture that was posted online. July 26: My wife reached out to follow up with an updated picture and overall general health check of the puppy--Jamy responded with one picture. August 10: My wife reaches out, again for a general wellness check and requests for an updated picture--Jamy does not respond until August 12-one word response "perfect", answering mt wife's question of "how is he doing?" THIS IS WHERE THINGS TOOK A TURN August 17: Jamy sends an invoice to my wife for the remaining balance of the puppy: $750 PLUS $500 for a dog nanny. Jamy advertises that for an additional $500, someone will fly with your dog in cabin on the plane to your destination. We thought it was weird that Jamy was collecting the full amount of the dog, even though he was only 4 weeks old and her "contract" stayed full amount would be collected 2 weeks before the dog was due to leave. In Jamy's text, she requested the dog nanny money as well stating she needed to "plan the nanny's and get flights in advance". We paid. August 25: We attempt to contact Jamy regarding flight information and the state of arrival of our puppy--NO ANSWER OR RESPONSE. August 28: 9am We attempt to contact Jamy, both via text and phone call--NO ANSWER--she later responds with the puppy isn't ready to leave yet and she won't send any updated pictures (we haven't seen pictures of our puppy in over a month!) September 1st: Call and text Jamy, NO ANSWER AND NO RESPONSE September 2nd: Call and text Jamy, NO ANSWER AND NO RESPONSE September 3rd (2 days before puppy is due to leave: Call and text--Jamy responds with she doesn't have a confirmed nanny and she doesn't have flight information, but she asked us for $500 to book a nanny and plane ticket over a month ago! How do you not have a flight booked? My wife states she will be cancelling the nanny and flying from LA to Little Rock, Arkansas to pick up the puppy--we were able to book a flight for Thursday 9/9/21, no problem. Jamy responds she will meet us at the airport. Wife texts Jamy to confirm that she will meet at the airport (2 days before leaving) Jamy responds she can't talk because she's driving. Wife and I end up cancelling the puppy due to lack of communication and asking us for money for a flight then failing to provide flight information or a definite date when the puppy would arrive. Jamy has refused to refund any of our money--my wife is a lawyer and has had to file legal paperwork and contact the local authorities in Booneville, Arkansas and the district attorney. We plan on prosecuting to the fullest extent of the law and pursuing criminal charges for the federal offense of fraudulent wire transfer as well as felony grand theft larceny. DO NOT GO TO THIS BREEDER! SHE HAS KEPT OUR MONEY, FAILED TO REFUND IT AND HAS LISTED THE DOG FOR SALE AGAIN BEFORE SENDING BACK OUR MONEY! SHE IS COLLECTING MONEY FOR DOGS AND TURNING AROUND AND SELLING THE DOG TO SOMEONE ELSE, WHILE KEEPING THE MONEY YOU SEND HER. BEWARE!

We also received a booklet with very useful information & her shot info, couple of toys, a blanket & her current puppy food. We absolutely love bonbon! "How on earth can you 'know' what a puppy is like, choosing him or her and welcoming them into your family/home without interacting with the puppy personally?" With Bernedoodle Bliss it wasn't just one video, it was several weekly videos that showed loads of interaction between the litter's brothers and sisters - - the best kind of interaction vs a first or second time visit from a "stranger" to a litter where the puppies are always going to be happy to see someone new. Their videos also showed the puppies progression and growth - - it was huge for us and was instrumental in helping us make our decision!! If you are searching for an ethical Bernedoodle breeder, you can trust Bernedoodle Bliss. We did our homework, searched everywhere and found LaDonna Thomas is truly passionate, has an open line of communication, is innately interested in ensuring the health & wellness of each puppy she raises and you'd be hard pressed to find a better breeder. As a longtime dog-owner, I've had lots of experience with different breeds and breeders, having owned 2 Tri-color Collies, a Wiredhair Terrier, a Bearded Collie, a Schnauzer and a Labrador Retriever. I've never come across a breeder so willing to help both before and after we brought our puppy home. One last item - - our 8-week old puppy is smart, docile, loves to snuggle, is eager to learn, and is the most beautiful dog I've owned! That calm temperament is due in large part to LaDonna, she does a great job with the puppies and let's face it, getting a puppy is a big investment in your time and money and finding the right Bernedoodle breeder can be a daunting task. Do your homework, search the internet, interview breeders - - but you will find getting involved with LaDonna & Bernedoodle Bliss is absolutely worth it!

LaDonna does a wonderful job at staying in touch. Emails, videos, photos and anything else are available at any time. She truly cares about the puppies, not only when in her care for the first 8 weeks but once they are in their forever home. I waited so long to finally get my Bernedoodle due to my military career but now that I could have the ability to bring one home, I am so thrilled that I chose Bernedoodle Bliss.

Networking locally might work, but I found that to be a long and uncertain journey. In-person horse auctions are an option, but you don't get much time to properly consider and evaluate such a big purchase. Online auctions offer variety, but seem very risky to me, as pictures, videos and the seller's description aren't enough to go on and may not provide an accurate picture. A friend told me that you may find a bargain at an auction but end up paying a lot more to your veterinarian. All these approaches come with risks and uncertainty that can lead to stress and some gnarly vet bills. "Horse of My Dreams" takes a different approach - they apparently continuously actively search out and select only the best horses and perform background checks on each horse's pedigree to make sure there are no hereditary health issues. They also have their own vet checks done with blood tests, inoculations, and x-rays, which reduces buyer risk and gave me confidence. Then they make sure each horse is trained and tested to make sure they have a great personality and temperament, are intelligent and trainable, and "bomb proof" (a horse that remains calm, steady and unflappable, even in situations (distractions, loud noises, sudden movements, unfamiliar objects) that would unsettle other horses). "Bomb proof" horses are the best horses for families (especially with children), beginners (actually any riding level), trail riding or riding in unpredictable environments and situations. Alisha, who guided me through the process, was a joy to work with. She's a welcoming, friendly, happy, positive-energy person. She's also a real professional and asked the right questions to understand our family's needs, helping to refine and understand our requirements to match us with our ideal horse. She was always very patient and understanding and knows her buyers are making a big decision! She was super responsive and always available by phone, text, or email - and her experience and knowledge were clear to see. Alisha was completely transparent and forthcoming, providing all the records and information I needed to be comfortable with my decision, all backed up by their guarantee. Thanks to Alisha's guidance, I ended up with a beautiful 6-year-old gray Quarter Horse gelding in excellent physical shape - strong, fit, and well-balanced with an athletic build - perfect for both trail and arena work. He's very smart, has a great personality and is a great partner. Of course, horses don't read websites or Yelp reviews - they're going to be horses! You'll still need to spend the time to bond, take lessons as appropriate, and become effective partners. But by getting my horse from HOMD, I believe I've avoided many of the risks and pitfalls that can occur on that journey.

I purchased my pony, Peppy, and she has been one of the greatest blessings to our family ever since, the final piece of the puzzle. Peppy is everything you hope for in a pony -- kind, gentle, safe, and incredibly friendly. From the very beginning, Alisha matched us with the perfect fit. Peppy has been dependable and trustworthy not just for me, but for my entire family. Even the younger kids are completely safe around her, which speaks volumes about her temperament and training. It's rare to find a pony with such a steady mind and loving personality, and I'm so grateful that Alisha helped bring her into our lives. If you're looking for a safe, family-friendly horse or pony, I would absolutely recommend Horse of My Dreams. Peppy has been truly priceless to us.

I want to inform and warn people about my experience. I was interested in getting my dream Sphynx…read morekitten and I stumbled upon Wiggly Wag. The website was relatively professional, had a lot of information etc. I wanted to do my research about them, finding others reviews etc but couldn't find anything anywhere, expect their own testimonials they decided to post. After emailing for more information regarding a kitten, received an email and then a text later that night. They had responded asking a few questions about what I do etc and that the kittens were all $800 which is extremely low for a Sphynx - let alone multiple. Of course that sounded great and they told me I needed to send a deposit, get my information, airports near me etc. They claimed the cat could be flown out to my city with someone from their team that very day and arrived to me by that night for an extra $120. I thought that seemed all way too fast and odd for a "Breeder" to do. I live hundreds of miles away and I know same day flights would never be convenient, cheap or know anyone that would be willing to jump on a flight and deliver a cat that fast. As well as they certainly would be paying a significant amount of money out of pocket for a flight. But anyways I still proceeded. I decided to change my mind once they asked for the payment because they wanted to do the transaction through a banking app called Zelle. I did my research and it specifically says that Zelle does not offer a guarantee of a product/ service like PayPal does. Which means, there is no way I would get my money back say if these people did not give me the kitten. I mentioned my concern that I wouldn't be comfortable sending hundreds of dollars through Zelle for this reason and if we could do it through PayPal instead - because PayPal has a product/service/ money back guarantee. Basically, they said no because PayPal charges fees for that (which I know) and Zelle doesn't. Mind you, the fees are only 3% for ever $100 which I don't mind. I stated I had no problem paying extra and covering the fees for them just so I could have that guarantee I am paying for a kitten and will receive it if I send them the money. The owner responded, clearly offended, even though I said it was nothing personal against anyone or their business, just something I would feel comfortable doing knowing my money is secure that way. Instead of accommodating me, finding a common ground or trying to understand where I was coming from, this man tried to make me feel bad by saying "other customers have paid this way" and wanted me to just go by "his word". (Includes screenshots of messages below). Basically, expecting me to trust a stranger with a large sum of money, hundreds of miles away that I don't know. He also wanted me to title the memo said we used Zelle, as "Gift". Meanwhile, I'm not "gifting" anything, I'm paying for a cat. Even when I said I would pay EXTRA for PayPal and that security, they would not do it and couldn't give me a reason why, in fact he stopped responding. Now that is ridiculous, unprofessional, and I don't know anyone that would be that dumb to send lot of money without a contract or guarantee you will get what you paid for! Unless you are paying through PayPal Goods and Services or a way that confirms a secure way of sending money for something or your money back, DO NOT DO IT! With my experience, it seems Wiggly Wag Sphynx is not a legitimate breeder. Also note, under Wiggly Wag's available cats, they have some listed as TICA/CIF which is an official cat registry association for breeding.. and Wiggly Wag mentions a few cats with Show bloodlines...however, all breeders registered would be listed on the TICA/CIF websites and it SPECIFICALLY SAYS on TICA that any breeder that claims they are registered but aren't listed on the Official TICA page, aren't affiliated. I checked and Wiggly Wag isn't on there! Please proceed with caution and beware of breeders who will not accommodate you! I never want to accuse anyone of being a scammer but Wiggly Wag cannot expect people to be "ok" with sending large sums of money with no guarantee of receiving a kitten.

The breeder always has puppies available that he sells for $2000 + as designer mixes. These are the top red flags of a bad breeder, but let me continue with my personal story: My husband & I were looking for a puppy to fit both of our needs, mine being that it had to be hypoallergenic (already limited there) & that we wanted the puppy to become a service dog (only certain breeds there too). So no going to the shelter to adopt a puppy. My husband is a disabled veteran (who is unable to work) & would greatly benefit from a service dog. We researched a lot of breeds, particularly the Native American Indian Dog. We chose Happy Bend Kennels as he is only an hour away from us. He said he'd give a discount on the account of the puppy being much older, the last one left from her litter, & for my husband being military. This never happened. We notarized a contract saying we would pay $1500, but on the breeder's way to see us he comes up with us having to pay $150 in taxes, & we desperately wanted her, so we ended up paying $1650 for a puppy that was already 15 weeks of age instead of a the normal 8-10 weeks (no discount there either). Unfortunately, 12 days after purchasing the puppy, we received devastating news that my husband was going to go under intense treatment at the VA that might require an eventual surgery & over night stays at the hospital. Knowing he would not be home enough or physically able to give our fur-baby the attention that she needs, & I work 8-10 hours a day, frequently go out of town overnight, so the heartbreaking decision was made to call the breeder. The breeder took full advantage of our unexpected crisis with my husband's health problems, took our $1650 puppy, all her belongings that we had bought her, including a $100 bed, lots of toys, treats, & vitamins & gave us a lowly $200 that doesn't even cover part of her belongings. He promised to return as much of the money as he could, of course, that never happened. Even his full grown 4-5 year old adult dogs that can't produce puppies for him anymore, he sells for $300 +. We are not only heartbroken over our loss of our puppy as we wanted for her to be a part of our family & a lifetime companion, but now we are having to endure the my husband's demanding treatments at the VA. We've had to deal with the fact we just unwilling donated $2000 for someone else to have a puppy & all her stuff (as Clint posted on YouTube that she will be re-homed to Colorado). I didn't realize my husband & I were running a charity, paying for expensive puppies for other people to have. Clint, taking money from a disabled Army veteran & his family while they are going through a difficult time is disguising and dishonorable. Thank you for adding to that difficult time & making it so much worse, Clint. He sells these dogs is just like any breeder, only in it for the money, has absolutely no conscious as he's willing to rip money off a disabled veteran who can not work because of his injuries fighting for our country by deploying to war twice. Being that he has 2-3 litters of puppies at a time, averaging 7-9 puppies each, & selling them for $2000 + (depending on where he is delivering them to), he certainly has the money to reimburse us especially after we only had the puppy for 12 days. He refused to return our phone calls and has ignored my email, pleading for him to reimburse us our rightfully owed money since we no longer have the puppy. When I was finally able to get on the phone with him, I was in tears at the loss of our puppy and (yes even the money). He had no empathy what-so-ever & said he would never sell in Arkansas again after this experience, ironic since that is where his kennel is. He had the nerve to tell me, in between my tears that, I don't need the money as I have a nicer car than him (a 5 year used car with 60k miles that cost $25k.) By the way, he drives a 'puppy express' Delivery Vehicle that is a huge 4x4 Truck with a 14ft trailer to deliver his furry money makers since he doesn't want anyone seeing his kennel. Selling his mixed bred puppies at $2k+ each, the man is not hurting on money. Please beware to all those who are considering purchasing a puppy from this greedy man. He may breed beautiful dogs, but he has an ugly greedy soul.
