I go check and there is no zignature dog food (can or dry) I needed. I say something to the lazy guy at the counter and all I hear are excuses. His excuses are not my problem. His incompetence is no longer my issue either because shopping here is never going to happen again. Trust me. Chewys is way better with customer service and price. How about instead of sprawling across the counter, like you are at home, you make yourself useful and update the website. BTW, He offered ZERO resolution. Just a bunch of worthless excuses and whining. This is not the first or second time this has happened, but its definitely the last. I ordered my food from Chewys today. They never give tired excuses, only great service. Chewys is much more reliable and I don't have to drive anywhere. Petsense should be named Petsenseless... MAYBE Petworthless. I booked my chow chow/Shepard mix who had beautiful long hair for a haircut. I went to pick him up and he was shaved, and not well. At first I thought he was matted and they had to shave him, but that was not the case. There was another groomer in there who understood exactly why I was upset. Jonathan acted as if it was my fault, and at first I thought it was. He told me I booked a haircut and that meant I wanted my dog shaved. But obviously that is not true. A haircut does not mean I want my dog shaved. He also didn't touch his sanitary area and left dead hair on his bottom. I would NOT recommend Jonathan for any dog grooming. I dropped my 6 lb toy…read morepoodle off for grooming at 8:30 a.m. and did not receive notification throughout the day or at all, so I decided to call and was notified she wouldn't be ready until after 6:30 p.m. As a nurse who had worked a long, exhausting shift, I was looking forward to picking up my dog and finally heading home. I also specifically requested that she be ready by 6:00 PM, and unfortunately that request was not honored. Considering I had to drive 40 minutes to Little Rock for pickup, the lack of communication and consideration for my time is very frustrating. Upon arrival I felt the staff was dismissive and unprofessional in their response to my concerns. I was also informed that their tap-to-pay system was no longer working, which created additional inconvenience during checkout. On top of that, I was charged $64 for grooming a very small toy poodle, which felt excessive given the overall experience. What concerns me most is the well-being of my dog. I provided food and water for her while she was in their care, but when I picked her up, she appeared extremely thirsty and hungry. While I cannot say with certainty whether she was offered the food and water I provided, her condition when I picked her up raised concerns for me as a pet owner. Leaving a dog in a grooming facility for such an extended period of time comes with an expectation that their basic needs, comfort, and safety will be prioritized. I value professionalism, communication, and quality care, and unfortunately this experience did not meet those expectations. The fee was $65 for a basic puppy cut, excluding head, ears and tail, but included a cute little cloth scarf. Although this seems a bit high, I'm not sure what the going rate is. They were friendly and caring when I called for appointment and worked me in early due to a cancellation. We plan to return on an as needed basis.
