Well... I'm not a car person. I drive 'em, I like 'em, I buy 'em... but I don't typically work on…read morethem. However, when our daughter's car battery died recently I knew it was well within my skill-set to replace it. We stopped at this AutoZone because it was nearby. First impression - clean and well stocked. The staff however... lazy and uncaring. We felt like we were bothering them to be there in the first place. The guy who sold us the battery mumbled and was just barely verbal enough to tell us what we needed. When I returned to get my core deposit the two guys (one was a manager) ignored me for a full half minute while they looked out the window... while I stood there holding a heavy battery. While finally processing my deposit refund the clerk needed a password from the window-gazing manager. He called him over but the mgr walked right by as if he didn't see us. Finally another manager (big guy with a full beard - the ONLY helpful and competent person in the store) came over and completed the transaction. If everyone in this place takes a lesson from the last guy, it would be a pleasure to shop here. Otherwise you might want to try somewhere else...

I went back to VIP in Sanford Maine and again ran into some problems with Rob the counter guy with an attitude, instead of clearing the matter he stuck to his pride and caused more problems. I again wrote a review, not only did the District Manager call me, sincerely apologizing and again corrected the matter. He gave me his cell phone number if any other problem arise. The President and COO of VIP Tim Winkeler called me and again apologized and made sure the matter was taken care of. Mr Winkeler could have had Many people call, but he himself took the time to get involved. Because of their true dedication in making sure their customers are treated right, I will do a lot of my business at a VIP. Thanks go out to Anthony the District Manager and Mr. Winkeler!!

It's passed every year same tires 33" and stock fenders. I should have known better. Update: 4/13 went to the dealership. Tech came out said, there is absolutely nothing wrong with your tint, your tire tread is low but still well within pass. Your tires stick out maybe 1/4" too far.
