I called A Level Up Concrete for the concrete floor. They came out and gave me an estimate so I went ahead and hired them for the floor I wanted. It wasn't just the great job they did with the concrete pour but their overall willing to help and do what they could to make their part of the garage project as easy and as smooth as possible. They were beyond helpful and patient with me while I tried to figure out the permit process which had created a few snags. Part of it was learning the hard way on how long a permit can take and where the concrete could be poured in relation to the property line (hint; double check, its different for everyone depending on where you live) I had a lot going on in my life along with this project so I was stressed and it was amazing how Seth picked up on that and more than once told me to relax and he would take care of it. Michael is the rare contractor who can draft the contract , prepare the engineering plans, answer all questions, and physically do the work. He is also bilingual so he can comminicate with anyone. He was there pouring concrete which is the most important part of the job. He made certain the slab was pitched to drain properly. He was hands on. If the slab is of poor quality , the entire project goes downhill from there. Michael was top notch. He was always responsive even in the middle of another job. He might be curt when answering while in the midst of pouring, but he always answers any day of the week. Many of my friends who used other contractors have had very bad expeiences with some aspect. Triple D is the worst company ever for having your tree removed. We are in our 70's now and got…read morescammed by a company called "Triple D Tree Service here in Florida, by The Villages. They sent us a text message, stating that we needed to initial a form on our mobile phone to permit them to come onto our property and cut down a big Palm tree. They didn't tell us what we were initialing. In my opinion, they tricked us into signing something that absolved them of any responsibility for the damage they did to our property. They should not have had us sign something on a small phone that we really couldn't read very well, and they were not responsible for any damage they did to our property. They caused hundreds of dollars in damage to our irrigation system, as well as the underground wiring that ran to the control box in our garage, & Cut all the wires with their stump grinder. When I told them about the damage, they said. Oh well, we're not responsible for any damage we do. Just wanna give a heads up to everybody to watch out for Triple D Tree Service, rotten to the core. They were in such a hurry, they never cleaned up the area or anything, with a bunch of small rocks in my lawn, twigs everywhere, just, oh well, they're not responsible. We had to hire another company to come out and repair the Triple D mess that they left behind. We have to let everyone else know before they get caught up in the same thing that we did. The actual mess was far worse in reality than the accompanying pictures are able to convey. Shame on you, Triple D, for taking advantage of the elderly.

Here's two Marine buddies that have teamed up in civilian life and formed J & J Earthworks and Services. I spent two days with them on our project of cleanup around the pool and they go above and beyond expectations. They are on time, ready to go to work every day. I asked the owner/manager--the person I paid--to return and clean up the excessive cement pieces left scattered throughout the yard, as well as to remove their company sign. They never came back. One of the slabs was poorly finished, with significant overpour and uncleaned edges (see attached images). I repeatedly requested that they correct the work, but was told this is "common." In addition to the subpar finish, they left multiple water bottles tossed around the yard, further evidence of a lack of professionalism. Photos show the poorly done slab and the cement debris I had to collect myself. You can decide if this is the type of service you want to pay for. As it stands, I will likely need to request reimbursement to have the slab properly corrected

We first worked with them in early 2021, when we had our entire driveway replaced. They did an…read moreexcellent job. Unfortunately, earlier this year, we determined we needed an entire septic system replaced, which necessitated the removal of a slit of driveway to connect the transmission line to the new tank. We were pretty frustrated having to damage the brand-new driveway. Luckily, we were able to use Accu-Krete again, who worked hard to get the driveway back to normal. They replaced the slit of driveway that was removed, and also fixed some cracks that were a result of the heavy machinery used to install the septic system. The driveway looks good-as-new. We will absolutely use them for any future concrete needs and have already recommended them to family and friends. Family-owned and operated, they were super-responsive and on top of everything. I highly recommend Accu-Krete.

We started our project and then I changed my mind on the design (so glad I did) and then the city shut down. While the city was shut down, Jon continuously kept us in the loop as to what was going on with our project. Finally once the city opened back up again, he contacted us immediately to let us know they were ready as soon as we were. Strange times we live in but once we opened back up, we were back in business. We were able to get our screen up in a couple of days. The guys that came out were knowledgeable, courteous, and very respectful. During this entire process, the communication was open and frequent. I was very pleased with the finally result and I would work Jon and L.A. Construction all over again. FYI-if the owner reads this, I think Jon should get a raise. Haha but seriously he should. The amount of times I asked him questions and he handled things, I truly believe he is an asset to the company!
