Working with Matt Q. from Santella Electric, LLC was hands-down the best experience I've ever had with a trade professional. Matt is in a league of his own. From the moment I spoke with Matt, he was incredibly friendly, warm, and engaging. He explained everything in clear, straightforward terms without ever talking down to me or making things unnecessarily complex. Excellent communication from start to finish--kept me informed every step of the way, showed up right on time, and followed through on every detail. He let me file my own permit (my choice) and pay the inspector directly (meaning he did not mark up these services for his own profit, which is UNHEARD OF!) What impressed me most was his honesty and meticulous attention to detail. In an industry where upselling feels like the norm, Matt did the exact opposite: he evaluated what I actually needed, gave me an extremely fair and transparent price, and didn't try to tack on unnecessary work. Yesterday during a bombagenesis storm, the generator was still not talking to the electric panel and my basement flooded...going to cost me another fortune but it's going to a different company than Sutton. Shameful lack of skills and pathetic that their phone is never answered during an emergency. Done with them. I found another generator repair company..and I'm thrilled with them. The generator works perfectly now..It's testing itself every Friday and has kicked on during two power outages. Sutton is HORRIBLE.

We called a few electricians and MercaWood were the only ones to pick up the phone (it was only 4pm). They came the next day and fixed the problem incredibly quickly and we're able to explain what went wrong in a way I could understand. They fixed a potential fire hazard Next time I'll remember not to try and cut corners by letting a non-licensed electrician do the wiring. I'll definitely be calling MercaWood the next time I need any wiring done or something goes wrong. A bonus is the owner is a great guy. He started this business to provide for his family and now he has a team of electricians. Not only does he pay them well, but he provides them 401k and healthcare, which is expensive and something most electrical companies don't provide their employees.
