Very quiet, serene, and completely relaxing, while piano and flute music are not anywhere in my normal listening, it was a very nice break from the normal. I am naturally wrapped in a thick layer of chub and was worried when I saw such a small lady was going to be taking care of me.... no problems there, she was very capable and easily worked DEEP into my muscles and I left there very happy. My wife and I decided this would be a good place for me to visit from now on to help with the stress and tension of my job. I ended up being late since I couldn't figure out if I was in the right place. When I tried to use the directory in the Herman Medical Building, they did not list Lux Bodyworks!! I sat there for 5 minutes (and I was already late since I couldn't find the place) trying to figure out if I was in the right building. I called and they told me it was in CST office, which would have been nice to know ahead of time. They should probably let people know that on the phone when they make the appointment (especially first time customers). I got there, had to fill out paper work and then finally could go in for my massage. Unfortunately since I was late I didn't get the full 60 minutes that I was supposed to get. My masseuse did a good job, but I was still annoyed I couldn't find the place and wasn't told it was in a chiropractic office or CST office. The room was clean, but like a doctor's office and not really like a spa. It could have been nicer with at least a nice aroma or candle burning. When I was done with my appointment I felt like they were just trying to force me to sign up for a chiropractic appointment. They claimed it was free but I'm sure they would just find something to make me pay for if I went. I didn't like that and will not be going for any kind of consultation. This translates into DO NOT LOOK FOR LUX BODYWORKS STUDIO anywhere in the building. It will not be labeled as such. I finally asked the guard who said "oh that, yeah, it's really CST Wellnes." Guess I should've looked at the suite number on the site before walking in. I checked in and the lady was very nice about it. She also did not pressure me for tip before or after the massage which was nice. The office itself is small but cozy, with free hot tea of your choice while waiting. I originally booked for a girl, but last minute turns out she won't be there, and is it okay if it's someone else, who turns out is in his first month and still training. I did pay a groupon price, so I guess... Don't get me wrong, he was nice, he talked when needed, he wasn't awkward, but it was not an excellent massage. I would not come back to this location, even if the groupon price was the normal price. Groupon's are supposed to get you customers in the door and get the word out, not for you to train your employees. :-(
