As a matter of fact there was a misunderstanding in the quote as I thought it included new ducts, but it did not. But James replaced for free due to the misunderstanding on my part. He did not have to do that because it was my mistake in communication. Prior to that I had 2 other hvac systems installed by another company. So I called that company that did the install to repair one. Within hours of repairing one hvac, the other failed. So I had to wait over the weekend for them to return to fix the hvac and on Monday my schedule. Then I decided to use Richmond Air for the repair. I only would be at my house from 8:30 to 10am due to a departing flight. I called Richmond Air at 7:30 AM on Monday to see if they could send someone to my house within the hour. The owner, James showed up with a staff member. So the other company's staff accidentally let out my Freon. James called the company and explained the mistake for me and arranged for them to replace my Freon for free. That is honestly and great customer service. He could have replaced the Freon and charged me, which is expensive and let me figure out the situation with the other company. So that deserves my business and yours. Trustworthy, competence and great pricing. I hope this review helps you select Richmond Air. Beware, the new tactic now is 'you need a new capacitor'. Ok, seems reasonable, they'll apply my…read more$80 trip fee so total now is $380. They replace the capacitor so I should be getting cold air....hours later the temp inside won't cool below 81. I call back and they tell me it could take until the next morning for the unit to "catch up and get back on track"! So we call a friend of a friend who came right over and discovered the wires on the capacitor were installed incorrectly, and ALSO the wires on the upstairs unit was tampered with, crossed, which made that unit inoperable. They had no reason to touch that unit as it WAS working. I believe Aire Serv wanted to come back the next day only to sell more services. It's just another disgusting scam to steal and take advantage of people. Now we must follow the repair tech around with a camera.

Since I keep a regular bi annual check on my heater and a/c, Aire Serv are able to make sure that I keep things running the way they should.
