Don't like the idea of the cleaners bc of the price and the smell afterwards. So here I am, my first laundromat experience. I should start by saying I'm 15 miles from home bc when I searched for places in my area they either had no information online or only one review it being bad. This place had one review and 5 stars which had a decent description of what to expect (thanks guy) Upon walking in I see judge Judy on tv, plenty of open seats, washers, dryers, folding tables, an attendant and it's nice and cool in here. The attendant, she's very nice, greeted me, pointed me in the direction of the washer I would need, offered help if I needed it, I did. $6 for that washer (I think it's one of the bigger ones, normal ones may be cheaper) After the wash I took it to the dryer for comforters and that's $2.50. She gave me a little money saving tip which was to stop the dryer right before time runs out and check the progress bc you can add a few quarters at a time mid-dry to buy more time, or you can start all over paying $2.50 when the first one is done. So I did that twice adding about $1 and then I forgot to check again, and ran out of time and we weren't quite dry yet so I did have to pay another $2.50 (you live and you learn) I was drying on low though so all of that could probably have been prevented anyway. Bottom line, i would recommend this place especially for someone who has no idea what they are doing, or for someone who just doesn't want to go to a back alley laundromat with broken machines and no hot water and no AC. Also: she helped me fold and stuff it back in the ridiculous back that bedding comes in.

I set my pick up and delivery date online. Shortly after, I received a text confirmation. I used the code "20PICK" for 20% off first time pick up and delivery. On pick up date, I was informed via text when the driver was en route to my home. I set my bags of laundry on the porch in laundry bags. Once the driver picked them up, I was informed via text that they were taken off the porch. The next day, I received another text that the driver was en route back to my house and a final text confirming drop off. I could not believe my eyes how smoothly this process went. From the moment I opened my door, I SMELLED MY LAUNDRY THROUGH THE BAGS. Not only did I smell my laundry, everything was SO neatly folded and hung up. I also received my personal laundry bags back. The clothes were folded and stacked neatly in tighter bags to ensure the clothes did not come unfolded. I have military parents -- even they would be impressed with the innate attention to detail these folks gave to my laundry. The pricing is extremely reasonable (even without a coupon). We live about a mile away, so the convenience is the main reason that we started patronizing Eastgate (that and the fact that our dryer sadly committed suicide.). In fact even if our dryer worked, my boyfriend and I would prefer the laundromat over the whole schpiel at home because of the speed and convenience. Four rows of washers makes this place seem pretty big. I have personally never had to wait for a machine. There is a quarter machine that takes clean, dry bills - if you have change and can locate the woman who works here, she will trade you quarters! Woohoo! (There is also a Wells Fargo mini bank about 50 feet from the door) They advertise that for $1 per pound (minimum $10) they'll wash dry and fold your laundry for you in about 4 hours. The machines are old, but kick butt. Washing a double load will cost $2 in quarters but is done in 25 minutes. If you wash 2 double loads, you can usually fit all that into one dryer which costs $0.25 per 7minutes. Unless your stuff is delicate, you should dry HOT or you'll end up spending double $$ and time waiting. If indeed your laundry is delicate, guess what! There is a dry cleaners next door that I assume is owned by the same people. Definitely recommend this place. Open 8am-9pm 7-days a week.

No regrets. The setup's better than expected: couches and stools in the waiting area, WiFi that actually works, and vending machines stocked with snacks and drinks if you're in it for the long haul. Plenty of food options nearby, too, if your wash cycle turns into lunch. Big washers are $5.00, dryers run you 25¢ for every 5 minutes. Bring quarters or hit the change machine--it's right near the vending machines. Bonus: they offer fluff & fold services. I used to love this when I lived in San Diego--there's something magical about getting your laundry back clean, folded, and ready to put away like you have your life together. This time around, I brought my GuppyFriend bag (because microplastic pollution is real), and asked the staff if the machines have built-in filters.
