Fans are only circulating hot air, leaving employees and customers sweating in miserable conditions. No one should have to work or do laundry like this. What's even more disappointing is they are failing to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the café owner, her employees, and all of us customers. The café owner is amazing and deserves so much better. She serves some of the best coffee in town, delicious food, and even offers the convenience of a drive-thru. She has created a wonderful business despite the unbearable conditions. It's time for the property owner to hurry and Fix the air conditioning. The people who work there and the customers who support these businesses deserve far better.

However, none of the updates are for the customers' benefit & newer signage still doesn't display any contact information or even a phone number if a machine takes your money...and in my experience, that's around $5 a visit to this laundry on average. (no one ever returned a call to the number that had been posted previously) It's pretty disappointing since it's the only option in this neighborhood.

Despite the reviews, I stopped in and the folks were so nice and friendly. They helped me out with cash for the machines. While I waited, I watched one of the employees (Chris) ask an older couple if he could help them. Another lady put too much soap in a small machine and I watched Chris help her out. Sure there were machines out of order but there were lots of "thank you's" and "have a good day's". Sometimes that's all you need nowadays.

We understand businesses have closing procedures and cutoff times. That wasn't the issue. Our clothes were already in the dryers and already finished drying around 9:12 PM. I walked to the door simply to retrieve them -- not stay inside folding clothes or holding up closing. The employee locked the door and refused to let us quickly grab our things, telling us we'd have to return in the morning. I explained that I have an autistic daughter and needed her clothes tonight, but there was still no flexibility or compassion shown. Policies matter, but customer service and basic humanity matter too. Especially in a neighborhood where many families already deal with enough stress and rely on laundromats out of necessity, not convenience. We'll know the rules going forward, but this interaction left a really bad impression.

In addition, there are several people wearing masks - although there is No sign in the entrances that say masks are required!
