I think this laundromat has gotten a bad rap. I was traveling from Denver, CO to Cherokee on business and had a load of laundry to do. Their laundromat was the closest to Cherokee. Despite the reviews, I stopped in and the folks were so nice and friendly. They helped me out with cash for the machines. While I waited, I watched one of the employees (Chris) ask an older couple if he could help them. Another lady put too much soap in a small machine and I watched Chris help her out. Sure there were machines out of order but there were lots of "thank you's" and "have a good day's". Sometimes that's all you need nowadays. read more

I only went one time due to our washer & dryer being out. The guy was very friendly & extremely helpful. I used the drop off service & he didn't even charge me for some of it,and he helped me load & unload the laundry from my car. Definitely the right place to go. The facility is very clean as well. I definitely recommend using this place for your laundry needs. read more

We vacation in Lake Juneluska about 3 times each summer. We drop our laundry off here and pick it up all folded and stacked beautifully. It's like magic! Employees are wonderful so make sure to tip them well! read more

Clean, compared with other places, including some cafe tables near an open window that let in a nice breeze. I'd disregard the reviewer who complains about not getting special treatment when she arrived late. Most laundromats have "last load" time rules. I've posted a photo of Ted's. read more

This company goes out of its way to make sure you are well taken care of. They provide a clean environment and well-maintained facility. If you see anything else in a review, just ignore it. They do post a time on the front door that you cannot start your laundry before a certain time. Yes, they close at 9 pm but one should not expect to start their laundry at that time. The time posted on the door to start your laundry is 7:30 pm. The staff likes get home at a reasonable hour just like you do. All in all, it is a great facility with even a dropoff service and helpful staff. read more

My first trip to Teds to use one of the larger washing machines, and I will definitely go back. It was clean and the service was a 5 star for sure. Some of the reviews are not so great but this establishment is under new management and I have no complaints. read more

This is a laundromat in need of an overhaul!!! Most washers and dryers don't work or are not functioning properly. Change machines don't work so you need to ask the attendant,when you find him, for change. Water leaking from some washers and other washers so off balance they look as if they would run through the walls. I surely hope whoever owns this place reads the reviews and does some maintenance. Being the only laundromat in the area doesn't mean you fall behind in basic upkeep. Good luck. read more

My husband and I have used the laundromat while our dryer is being fixed. Tonight we came to use the dryers only at 8:30 and we're told we could not use the dryer for 20 mins! Even though people were still in there doing laundry and the sign says they are open till 9pm. The guy working was rude. If your sign says you are open till 9pm then you are open for business till 9pm. This is the 3rd time I've showed up to find it closing early and the first time ever I was turned away. Unprofessional. They will also lose my dry cleaning business. read more

This location is great, clean and friendly. The town of Sylva is cute too. I had to do some laundry for a business meeting, while staying at the Casino, which doesn't have a guest laundry facility (bomber), and the laundry mat down from it doesn't open until 8 am....I needed laudry done sooner, so I was told about this location. It's about a 25 min drive, but worth it. The sign is posted as opening at 7:30, but I called at about 6:45 am, and he said that he was already here and turning on the lights. I love great customer service. And it's right across the street from Dunkin Donuts, so you can have a treat while you're waiting... read more

This place used to be great but since it was sold it has become a dump. Half the machines are always out of order and the other half don't work properly or being used by employees (guess their machines in the back don't work either). Place is filthy and the one guy who works there is extremely rude. Going to the laundromat in Franklin (across from Bi-Lo) from now on! read more
