I randomly called this dealer in desperate need of reliable transportation. My personal circumstances were extremely challenging so I wasn't expecting such positive feedback. I made contact with Rami and gave him my general information over the phone to see if possibilities were even an option. I was pleasantly told he could work with me and he suggested what boundaries I should stay within ie: price, mileage, year, etc. I responded back right away and he told me we could get the deal done! Since I am not new to the car purchasing process and have financed many vehicles in all honesty I still wasn't completely convinced it would work out. Not only did it work out but with extreme ease! Khader was my salesperson and he was helpful and honest. Few months later the clutch started to make noise. I have my mechanic replace the clutch cause it went again. I called them to get a better understanding of their establishment... Right off the bat, they started giving me information about things i was clueless on... thats when I knew I was in good hands. When i went down there, my mom had her eyes set on a jeep we saw online but as they listened to her needs/ budget they suggested a Honda Odyssey (it came with a fridge/camera installed!!). This dealer leases autos out on the part of fair.com.I should have followed my gut when I knew something was amiss as 2 of the salesmen were arguing and cursing at each other in front of the customers. I feel this dealer knew they were giving me a defective truck and did so anyway just to turn a profit. I gave a down payment of $1400 and my monthly lease was $375 per month. Approx 30 days into the lease it was discovered the truck had major mechanical problems (needed wheel bearing as well as a new rear differential) that would cost approx $3000. I contacted the company and asked to return the vehicle and they accepted the return as it was in their policy that you could return a vehicle at any time. I then asked for a prorated return of my down payment since they knowingly sold me a defective auto. I have emailed them numerous times and they have refused to return any monies. Their only remedy is $250 off the down payment on another vehicle. I would have to be idiotic to assume they would give me a reliable vehicle after the first experience and I feel they are knowingly leasing out vehicles that are not mechanically sound and fleecing consumers out of their start payment. I have had many great experiences with J&S AutoHaus over the years. The brothers are gentlemen. John and his son George run a Class A operation. They have great used cars at great prices and can always be trusted. It is nice to see they have a new Mitsubishi dealership as well. All the cars I purchased from them where in excellent shape and if I had minor problems they stood behind everything. I totally recommend them and would buy more cars from them in the future. Was looking to purchase a used Mercedes and spoke to Mike Reitano as he was the point of contact for the car listed on Autotrader. I requested some additional pictures since the pictures they had up were not clear enough for me to see the condition of the property. I asked him to take various pictures, and he did so prompt. During the conversation, he gave off the standard stereotypical salespersons vibe and attitude of trying to be slick. Told me the car is perfect and I wouldn't find anything wrong with the car and it wouldn't last so I needed to hurry. Honestly, how many times have we heard that before? Upon receiving the pictures, it was clear to me the car was not perfect and surprisingly missing some things like lug bolts, a trunk liner, and a trunk handle which any owner of a w140 Mercedes would know about. And some of the modifications done to the car were pretty tacky which weren't going to be cheap to replace back to stock. Based on my experience with Mike, I didn't feel it was worth getting the car inspected with a PPI and decided to walk away. I do feel sorry for whomever buys that car. read more

My experience was awful. The salesman Pete told me he would have the Range Rover I wanted to test drive ready for me when I got there. I had a 2 hour drive and when I was 5 miles out from the dealership I get a call that the car would now not be there until 4 pm. That was an hour and 15 minutes later and I was 5 minutes away. I said I am confused I thought it was on site because earlier in the day Pete told the sales manager had taken it home for the weekend. But the more questions I asked the more I learned it had been driven to another dealership for another client to take a look at. I said you had 2 hours to figure this all out before I got behind the wheel and left the Jersey Shore to come to Princeton and then drive from Princeton on to DC. But to call me 5 minutes out simply was just not right or very professional. I offered to go to the other dealership in Mt. Holly to see the car since it was on my way to DC and the answer was no. Frankly, I am not sure they ever had this car! I have purchased 2 range rovers and this would have been by 3rd and I was ready to stroke a check. Shame Shame ( on them-their weak offering to buy me dinner doesn't compare to the time I wasted (a total of 5 hours in the car) and the whole experience is why used car salesman have a bad rap. I purchased a 2014 Audi S5 from J&S Autohaus. It took them over two weeks to provide me with a title for the car and only provided me with a three week temporary tag. When I took my title to the Ohio bmv it was told to me the title was not in order and it was never notarized. At this point my temporary tag was expired. I went back and forth with multiple people at this dealership for five days before they finally provided me with a plan to fix the title. I was finally given a UPS return label (not even next day) to send it back for them to fix. I tracked the package and found out they held on to the title for a day before fixing it to send back to me. At this point, I have been without the ability to drive the car legally for nearly two weeks! At one point I was told by them it was no big deal to drive my car with a title not in my name and expired temporary tags! This dealer turned what started as my dream car purchase and a decent buying experience into a very angry customer. I'm selling my used 2015 BMW. J&S Autohaus participates with Kelly Blue Book Instant Cash Offer Program. KBB ICO provides a quote to buy my vehicle with a referral to a participating dealer. The amount is subject to the dealer's inspection. My offer from KBB was $12,500. I took it into J&S on 5/16 for the inspection. After inspecting it, George told me they really wanted my car. He offered $900 more than KBB. He told me if someone else offers more, call him back so he can work to raise his offer. I needed a few days to consider. They were calling, emailing and texting me to accept. On 5/18, I called and told Peter (George's subordinate) that I accepted George's offer. We made an appointment for me to come in 5/21 at 10:30 to pick up the money and turn over the car, title, and keys. I erased my profile from the car, unpaired my phone, removed my ads from Autotrader.com, Craigslist, and Ebay. I called a prospective buyer and told him I could not accept his offer as I had committed to J&S Autohaus. I rented a car to take me around after dropping off my car. I went down a second time and now George said his mechanic told him the breather tube (he did not know what this is) leaks and pointed out 2 non-existent paint blemishes. He would not honor the offer. He never did tell me any new offer. I was interested in a specific car at J&S, so I emailed them about it. Melvin answered my email, and we wrote back and forth a few times. I was not from Jersey, so I wanted to make sure the description of the car was accurate before I traveled to test drive it. Melvin kept saying that it was a clean car, so I took a weekend to travel to Jersey for the test drive. The test drive lasted 10 minutes because the engine was shot. They gently got the car out of a service bay when I arrived. As I pulled out of the lot, two warning lights lit up the dash and the car immediately went into 'limp home' mode...it wouldn't get over 3000 rpms. Needless to say, I didn't buy the car. Melvin knew I was traveling in from out of state and he could have mentioned the engine problem in the email, but he didn't. Because of Melvin's lie, I spent a lot of travel money for nothing. Stay far away from J&S...they are underhanded, unethical, liars. They try to sell cars that they know are unfit to drive. The car they had me test drive was unsafe and should not have been on the road. They knew it had a problem, and they purposely tried to cover it up. If you are looking for a decent used car at a reasonable price, with TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE then J & S is the place for you. My fiancé and I recently bought a car through J & S and were treated very poorly while taking care of insurance matters during the purchase process. After the purchase was made and we drove away with the car our salesman noticed an issue with my paperwork and called me to clear the issue up, so I requested the appropriate paperwork from the state, and told him it would take a week or so to come in. The next day, a different salesman called my fiancé and harassed her, telling her that if I did not resolve the issue immediately our car would be repossessed. After talking to my terrified fiancé i called the salesman to find out what had changed in the 24 hours since I had talked to him. He said the other salesman didn't know that he was calling my fiancé about my paperwork, and apologized. My fiancé said that the salesman called her by name, so one salesman just tried to harass my fiancé and the other lied to me directly to save his coworker. In the mean time, we were waiting for our permanent license plate to be shipped to us from the dealership, as they provided us with a 2 week temporary on the day of purchase. The salesman did not ship the license plate until I called him after driving on the expired temporary plate for over a week. Then, to compound the problem he send the plate to the wrong address, and it is now being returned to the dealership. I am hopeful that I will get the license plate next week, 6 weeks after purchasing the car, and 1 month of driving on the expired temporary plate. read more

The guy kept saying they had 8 sales people and all these excuses when they couldve told as soon as the sale was being made, they kept emailing and telling us to come to the main location as if the car was there but it wasnt. I spoke with 'Eli' who did not mention to me that there were different locations, though I should of done more research I wasted my time twice looking for the correct one with the car I wanted. I must say over the phone Eli was not professional. In person, he was very compromising and professional. So as I waited for finance to do their part, I was told that my credit score was under 500... I thought to myself is my credit really that bad!!???... So they try to sell me a 2012 Car (can I add that this model car have many recalls on it) that was more so in my price range for $500 a month for 72 months??! You have to be out your mind! And my trade in was not worth anything. So that being said, i just received my credit report through one of many banks that work with J&S... they are full shit sh*t!!! I bought an 05 Acura MDX less than a month ago and the transmission went along with the Catalytic converter. Granted it was an older car with 160k miles but i paid$7700 cash which took me years to save. Had no warranty but Melvin told me he never sells a car that he wouldn't buy himself. I called Melvin on a saturday explained the situation and he said he would see what he can do and that he would call me monday. Didnt hear back all day so i finally called him around 4pm he said he had to talk to his tech to see what they can do and he'll call me back in 15 min. That never happened. i called him today after having to take 2 days off from work. he tells me theres nothing they can do since it didn't have a warranty. They said i would have to pay for it to have it towed and also pay for the parts. Really? I used all my savings to buy this car. I trusted that i was buying a reliable car from them after they said they have an a plus rating with the BBB and him stressing that it was a good car. I explained that I basically used all my savings to buy this car and that I have kids that i need to get to school and I have to get to work but he brushed it off as this could happen to anyone. I just bought it less than a month ago, the right thing to do as a human being and being a father himself wouldve been to fix it for me or offer to refund my money and take the car back but I guess i forgot that used car salesmen are only concerned with their bottom line , instead of helping their customers and doing the right thing even if it meant they would take a loss. Now i'm left with no car an no money to buy another one. My credit isnt great so I can't get financed to get a new one. I can't imagine they didn't know about it before they sold it to me. Visited JS Autohaus Mt. Holly location to view a 2008 Lexus. Vehicle was very nice/clean. One week later I visited the Ewing location to view another Lexus to compare which one I like better. I ultimately chose the Lexus in Mt Holly. I was informed previously that vehicles can be moved from all 5 of their locations upon request. I made a cash offer on the vehicle but the salesman refused. I returned to the Ewing location on May 10, 2012 to make another offer to include a trade. The saleman offered only 500 for my car, I refused, and he directed me to their other location 1 block down the street. I went there another salesman offered 1300.00 for my vehicle, I agreed. I then confirmed the total price of 19,500 cash plus my trade for the vehicle. Both Lexus' were priced at 21,999. My salesman Henry, confirmed I would bring a check for that amount the next morning and he would send for the Lexus at the Mt. Holly location early in the morning. The morning of May 11, 2012, I received a call from Henry stating the Lexus at the Mt. Holly location was no longer available; therefore, I could only get the one at the Ewing location. I didn't understand how that was possible if I agreed to purchase it, but I agreed to it. I obtained a Cashiers Check made out to JS and returned to the lot. I met with Henry gave him my check for 19, 5000, the title for my trade, insurance, and license. I sat with him for 15 minutes, he showed me the Car Fax, I signed it, and began to explain an extended warranty. He then directed me to speak with another gentleman in regards to the warranty further. Henry handed my information to the other gentleman to include my check, and he began to type up the sales agreement in the computer. For some reason the numbers did not add up and he told Henry the money he received from me was short. He stated the cash was supposed to be 20,800, which was actually the total price I was getting the car for to include my trade. Henry stood there and turned to me to say "Yes you were supposed to bring me a check for 20,800 plus your trade". He totally lied and I couldn't believe it. I called him a liar several times and he hesitated the entire time saying I must have mistaken what he said. The Owner of JS intervened and I explained to him I would not have mistaken 20,800 for 19,500. The check was given to Henry 15 minutes prior and if the amount was incorrect he waould have stated that as soon as I handed it to him. I also made the Owner aware of his call stating the car was inavailable and the owner told me that information was not true. The car had not been sold nor had someone put a deposit on it. Henry stood there the entire time saying nothin. I ended up not gettin either car, the owner would not accept my check stating he would not make money on the vehicle if he sold it to me for my price. I was furious wasting time and energy. Henry tried to pull something sneaky and underhanded. DO NOT BUY NOTHIN FROM THEM!!! read more
