For lots of people from out of town it is a must stop at while in Western Louisiana for some of their wonderful Boudin or their nearly world famous jalapeño sausage cheese bread. As you walk into the store the sweet smell of meat being gently smoked wafts through the store. The boudin election is impressive and ranges from green onion to traditional, crawfish in season, deer, and a newer jalapeño boudin. They sell fresh and frozen - including all kinds of interesting and fun things like boudin egg rolls (oh yes - really - and they are mmm mmmm good), boudin balls, étouffe, gumbo, hogshead cheese, cracklins, and more In addition to the specialty meats they are also known for their jalapeño sausage cheese bread. I later wrote to the company president asking that the matter be reconsidered, but I never received a response. FedEx ultimately denied my claim as untimely. While I still believe Bourque's has excellent products, I was disappointed by the way this shipping issue was handled and would hesitate to order perishable items for shipment again.

Was definitely having a conversation with one of the workers who was stocking the shelves on the spaghetti aisle about making it from scratch or the jar. Well, I decided to go jar and bring everything up to the counter and had the pleasure of encountering Edra. I put my things on the counter, keeping in mind I have never been into the store before and chose to go here over Piggly Wiggly, Edra begins checking me out and looks at me and says everyone is coming in here for spaghetti today. I say oh we all must be on the same wavelength. Then she proceeds to say, "y'all are all lazy because y'all don't make your sauce from scratch." It took every being of my cell to not react to this very out of line statement. I don't care who you are, how old you are, what position you hold calling customers that are choosing to come to your store over other grocery stores that I had to pass up to get here is flat out rude. I just looked at her smiled and said I hope that you have a great day. She did not bother to hand me the receipt or the bags I had to walk around the counter, grab the bags and the receipt and I walked out. History: My parents had 2 homes; one @ South Crowley & one @ Intracoastal City, so I frequented Robie's for decades. I can hear my late Mom: "Son, when you get to Robie's, get me a small sack of yellow onions. Ask the butcher to split & season 3 small fryers for our BBQ tomorrow." Champagne's Robie's is still mostly called "Robie's" by many of us. They now carry multiple frozen products from local food companies like "LENA'S" & "Ouida's". Crawfish pies, seafood egg rolls, shrimp dishes, etc. When I last visited the in-store made boudin was unavailable, but I think that may have been corrected by now. I bought Kanati tires for my jeep thru walmart.com. I had them delivered to morgan city super…read morewalmart. They installed them. Driving home the jeep shook really bad. I had a mechanic look at the vehicle to make sure it wasn't the jeep. He said everything looked fine it was the tires were bad. I brought the jeep back to that walmart and had them rebalance them. It was no better. I bought Toyo A/T tires from a different tire store and all the shaking went away. I started the return and refund online and went back to the store to get the refund. The automotive department person said if you drove over 100 miles they won't take them back. How do you know if the tires are bad without driving on them? Then they sent me to the service desk to talk to another person who told me they can't refund the tires because I bought them on walmart.com. I would have to get a refund thru them. So I called them. The help tech redid the refund she said I did right and sent me to the service desk to get my refund. Again I was told no. They sent me back to the automotive dept. The employee there came back to me with a unofficial white paper word document that says any tires not installed can be refunded in 90 days. She said see we don't refund or return tires once they are put on the rim even by us. I said even if they are defective? She said yes. But it didn't say that. According the the official walmart policy they do take back tires but any refund is pro rated determined by tread depth that they measure. I know. I have the papers that were given to me when I had them installed. The employee was rude. The online help techs didn't understand why the store kept refusing the refund. Online help is absolutley impotent when it comes to getting this remedied. If the store says no ..... you are s.o.l. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone looking to buy tires shop somewhere else. I can't speak to all walmarts. But I can to this disappointment of an automotive department.

I stopped in today to get a few things I noticed whole chickens on sale for .89 per pound and most chickens were under $5 wow great price so of course I got a few. The produce were all nice and fresh looking so I got lemons and fresh salad fixings and a few other things. I also picked up some cute Easter stuff.
