Off the beaten path, but a feast for your taste buds 10/10!!…read more Make time to visit B Sweet Bistro. This spot offered the BEST entree we experienced during our trip. We ordered a few appetizers and entrees, and everything was made with attention to detail and delicious seasoning. The ambiance was cozy and had a welcoming vibe. The owner and staff were very attentive and friendly. You can tell that the food and a great dining experience are their priority, and they succeeded. Back to the BEST food item in New Orleans, do not sleep on their unique savory beignets. They were bursting with flavor, and we found nothing else like them. I highly recommend this signature dish, which was beautifully presented and loaded with layers of flavor that we can still vividly remember. B Sweeet Bistro is perfect for a memorable, flavorful, and authentic meal. It has an extensive menu and is within safe walking distance of the French Quarter. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make time to visit B Sweet Bistro.

We purchased the pecan cake and a lemon cake. In addition, we purchased 2 tea cookies. The lemon cake was well received and said to be moist. My pecan cake was delicious. Best way to describe it is that it tastes like a pecan log. Stick with the cake. Perhaps try other cookies. Tea cookies were definitely not a favorite. Overall, would eat at this place again for cake that is homemade.

I hate writing negative reviews because the cakes at Cake Goddess truly are delicious. However,…read moretheir customer service and policies have completely changed my mind about ever ordering from them again. I placed an order on a Thursday for a very simple 8-inch cake -- no fondant, just basic icing. Only two hours later, I called to change the pickup date and was told the "process had already been started," so absolutely no changes or refunds could be made. For such a simple cake order, that response felt unreasonable and inflexible, especially given how quickly I called back. A little customer service and understanding would have gone a long way. It's disappointing because the quality of the cakes is excellent, but policies like this make customers feel unvalued. Unfortunately, this experience will keep me from ordering from them again.

I am so disappointed. I have ordered custom cakes from Cake Goddess before, and I was always happy…read morewith the outcome, but the customer service has always been a bit rushed; so in order to have the time I felt I needed, since I wanted to order a custom wedding cake, I scheduled a consult, which cost me $25. On the phone, the girl asked me how many people were going to be there and which 5 flavors of cake we would like to try. She also asked me where the wedding venue was (so I assumed at this point that they would deliver.) I did explain this was going to be a custom cake, and it would only be me at the consult, and that I only needed the two flavors (almond w/white and yellow w/chocolate.) When I arrived, I sat down with the consultant who brought over two cupcakes (almond w/white and yellow w/white - which was NOT correct) but, no big deal - I know their cake is good. Then she proceeds to pull out wedding cake sample books. I explained again that I did not want a traditional cake, but a custom cake and began to show her the design. At that point, she seemed less than interested, and explained they do not do edible images, so I pivoted and gave her another design that they could do with piping and fondant. She didn't give ideas, she didn't offer solutions, she just sat there like she was bored. She then told me that they would not deliver a cake that was not three tier or more. So I was supposed to come and pick up the wedding cake while I was in the middle of getting ready for a wedding? Why even ask for the address then? At this point, I decided to just go elsewhere. The attention to detail was poor, and the enthusiasm for a sale was poor. I also suggest that when scheduling a wedding cake consult that one say up front that there is no delivery (I would have even paid extra. Price was not the issue.) If I had know that, I wouldn't have wasted my time or money.
