I selected two companies from Yelp to evaluate getting my driveway and courtyard re-stained. I did not choose JB Concrete to do the work. I called for a quote and explained the project. I was asked my availability and told them anytime today. No one called or showed up that day. The next day in the afternoon as I was leaving the house a person showed up. Jose is a great guy. He made sure all my concerns where handled! I even checked the paper work from the mix which he didn't know I was going to do. He ordered more than What was needed and a higher PSI and better mix than what we agreed on! That's huge!!! He wanted to be sure he had more than enough just in case and life long patio that can handle an RV. He was also thousands cheaper than ever other quote. If you need concrete do not look any further. He also really wanted to make sure that we got what we wanted and wanted to work with us to make sure that we were happy. Overall we're happy with the work (it was a very complicated pour) and how great Jose was to work with. I'd be posting 5 stars, but the last bit of the salt finish on our driveway appears to have been put on too fast and/or too wet. Jose came out quickly for an estimate for two completely different jobs-one interior, one exterior. Before he gave a quote for the interior, he wanted to make sure I talked to a structural engineer for both the safety of his crew and of the home. I really liked the fact he wanted to ensure the job was done right. He also gave me a quote for the removal of the 4" thick massive concrete patio in back, which was very reasonable. His crew came yesterday and I was shocked (and rather impressed) to see that the work was hand done, not with a jackhammer (they may use it for larger jobs but this one was a bit delicate). The work was top notch, and the clean up was very impressive-you literally cannot tell a work team was here. He gave a very reasonable quote as well to lay a new patio so I will have them come out to do that work once the ground fully dries underneath.
