I just went into the Charlottesville location, wanting to return/exchange a pair that I purchased there on Saturday last week. I bought a new pair because I've gone down two sizes and wanted to treat myself to some new ones. They didn't have the style that I wanted, so I went with the pair that the associate suggested. I wore them out of the store because she told me that I could donate the pair that I wore in that day. I wore them home and when looking in the mirror some more, I just didn't feel good or confident in that style. I came back today and they told me that because I had worn them out of the store, that they weren't eligible for return or exchange. I'm extremely upset because I spent $115 on a pair of jeans that I wore for an hour and a half, that I don't feel good in. To pour gasoline on the fire even more, she had the gall to tell me that if I didn't like them that I could DONATE them back to the store! She said that there was nothing else that they could do. I informed her that I was a loyal customer and would never come in again because this just didn't seem acceptable. Im not trying to sound like a "Karen" but I've worked in retail for over 15 years and I had expected a higher level of customer service with such a high-quality brand. Never have I attempted to return jeans there before, because I've always loved what I have gotten, but I can guarantee I will never go back again...

The staff were really knowledgeable and patient with us as we took over 45 minutes to decide on the 13 different pieces. Due to the pandemic we haven't shop as much. At the register they carefully checked for items that should be for sale for us and ordered a different size for a jacket to be shipped directly to San Francisco. They recommend several pieces that we normally wouldn't have picked out and this was really a godsend since we have a shop for a while and were in a time crunch . Highly recommend this place due to the friendly service and the professional knowledge they have.

The quality above average and the styling seems to hit just right for the teen and young 20 demographic. Staff goes overboard to assist on our visits and returns are easy within 30 days no questions. My daughter often says the staff is better than other shops because they treat teens like adults. Through the eyes of my daughter who is a super regular it's a great place to shop for young women's clothing.

However I have stopped in a couple times recently for a new pair of dress shoes for my husband and then a couple weeks later for pair of shoes for myself to wear to a wedding. They have really nice, high quality italian-made men's leather dress shoes. They are expensive but you can find good sales on them occasionally still, and they will last you. He's very happy with his. There's always plenty on the sales rack, so especially if you don't shop often like me, you can probably find something cute and in your size in their sale section. They don't do the best job at keeping this sales section looking clean, organized up to brand standards (I know because I worked a couple years at a BR back in the day). I've found the customer service at this location hit or miss, sometimes seeming very cold even when we're asking for help/looking for someone who can assist us, and other times they are friendly and fine, so I think it depends who's working.
