It's actually funny that we had low expectations for Napa Outlets and planned on just browsing. We actually spent our entire time just at the J Crew store because of how much stuff they had. We had the whole store to ourselves when we walked in later on a Monday night. Both of the employees in there were helpful and assisted us with questions on the deals and for proper sizing. They had really good deals with 60% off the lowest ticketed price on a lot of the women's clothing and a lot of it was already discounted at least once. I also found that even though it was a factory store, a lot of the items were still high quality - nice soft fabric, no defects, and the items fit well and weren't odd leftovers. Some of the sizing was a bit limited but I managed to find a great pair of super soft leggings on sale. My boyfriend stocked up on the tees they had available in multiple colors and cuts. read more

The store clerks are so nice but the managers are SO rude. Twice I've had this experience.

Never greeted. Been visiting this store a handful of times and each time I'm hopeful the service is improved. No such luck. The staff periodically stares at you. Not even a smile. I'm not sure if they are really busy and focused or just don't care. I leave without a purchase, again, and then shop elsewhere. This store is definitely in need of training. read more

Maybe there were 3 shoppers in the store and 4 or 5 employee's but you still had to ask for service. No one attending the fitting rooms and the one gal was on her "earpiece" and so ensconced in a conversation I thought she was a customer. Nope an employee with zero interest in helping the actual customers. Oh well. Went to the store for my first anticipated visit and unfortunately was let down. At first the store didn't even seem open as there was no open sign or signs of life, in thinking back perhaps they didn't want any business considering our experience. It was only my husband and I in the store at the time with 4 employees on the floor. Not once were we greeted and we walked from the front to the back and even walked past the counter where 3 of the employees had congregated and got no acknowledgement we even existed. read more

I love J. Crew. Let's just get that obvious statement out of the way. This review is for this particular store... which is great! As all the wineries close up by 5:30, and we weren't having dinner until 9:30, hmmm, what-to-do.... what-to-do.... let's go shopping! While it's obviously a factory store, it still has the feeling of a J. Crew store which is nice. I bought one of their perfect tees in NEON (!!!) and the most adorable critter charm necklace, oh, and a gold glitter bow barrette. (Technically from the Crewcuts section, but whatevs. It's cute on me too.) The store was super clean, all the merchandise displayed nice and neat. The salespeople were friendly. They even had an employee attending the fitting rooms. Bonus: the girl ringing me up asked if I was a student (I am) and once I showed her my student ID, she gave me a student discount on top of the sale price!! Score! read more

Boyfriend was able to get very good quality sweaters here for cheaper prices.. we ended up returning some of the sweaters we just bought at the Gap Outlet because the selection here was better and it most cases, cheaper for the quality you were paying for. The ladies section isn't really my style, so I didn't end up picking anything up. However, for those who are into this look, the ladies section was very well organized and easy to sort through. read more

Ahh... J.Crew... one of my favorite places to shop. If you can imagine the biggest grin on my face as we pulled up to the outlets. Bam! J.Crew is in the middle of the outlets, welcoming you with big arms to help boost the economy. I was a bit disappointed with the selection and price reductions. Normally, factory stores offer an additional % off of the listed or already discounted price throughout the store (not just sales items). This store didn't offer that. Still, there were great sales. 50% off yoga apparel and 40% off sales items. Don't forget to bring your student ID for an additional 15% off! read more

I'm a fan of this store! There are always friendly sales people and awesome merchandise. You can get a super duper deal here if you wait around for the end of season clearance sales. I have been known to score many pieces here for under $12, up to 80 or 90% off. Patience pays off! read more

I love J Crew clothing and have visited many of their outlet stores but this location has very very poor customer service. The workers don't smile and they don't honor promotions and will no longer be helpful. I prefer to give my business to Vacaville outlet. read more

I went to J.Crew on Wed 11/28/2012 for my first time with my wife. My first impression of the store is how organized and clean it was. Everything was neatly stacked and color coordinated which made it very convenient for me, also for my wife. We had plenty of help by a beautiful young woman named Stephanie... she was an amazing sales associate helping me and my wife find the right sizes and outfit for our Christmas party coming up. She defiantly knows her stuff and was highly attentive with not just my wife and I but other customers as well.Great customer service and store was uniquely clean I highly recommend checking out their store. The things I bought were Chinos, 2 slim fit work shirts, a classic pea coat and a couple of ties. I don't remember what my wife bought, but she went all out. J. Crew = lahve yes, clothing is a bit up in price... but you know what, it is totally worth it! Clothes are made to last.. & when I say last, I mean they don't easily fade or ruin easily. Do not ever buy shoes online with J Crew Factory. You cannot exchange or return them. Their sizes are not true to size so even if you order your true size you will get shoes that don't fit. Suede is bad quality it stretches after several hours of wear and if you have even stepped outside ounce they are not returnable. The worst customer relations I have ever dealt with. Offered NO options, NO solutions other than buying another pair!!!! Do not ever shop for shoes there. Extremely disappointing. read more

This store is always impeccable. You can tell the employees actually enjoy working there because of the way it reflects in their interactions with customers. The fitting room staff is always attentive being sure to remember and address you by your name. It's the little things that show that this store is trying (and doing) a great job. The clothing I've purchased has proven quality, displayed little to no shrinking after washing; however, the sizes do run large but hey, it's also a self esteem booster to be able to ask for a smaller size. They offer both student and AAA discounts. read more

I used to love going to this J Crew because they had a great assortment of sizes and styles. My girlfriends and I would make a day of it and get lunch in Napa and head to the outlets nearby. We went this past weekend and I was very disappointed with this J Crew. They only had one fit of jeans for men and women and the available sizes were limited. The store also looked kind of sparse and limited with empty shelves and way too many displays of the same merchandise over and over. There were only two sales associates available to service the entire store. With Christmas right around the corner, you would expect a different experience than what I found. The only shining light was that there was an extra 20% off of 40% off discount being offered that day and the sales staff was very nice though limited in their availability to help customers. read more

A really good outlet store. They keep the inventory tidy, there are a lot of options in a lot of sizes, and the prices are pretty good.

I enjoy shopping at the JCrew Factory store in Napa for a couple of good reasons: 1) I usually find great deals on shirts and pants thanks to their frequent 50% off sales and 2) the customer service there is great - everyone there is friendly and happy to check in the back for sizes that may have sold out on the sales floor. If they don't have your size, they'll call another JCrew store for you. Over the past year, Ira has been a consistently great help in helping me find my size, etc. Thanks to his excellent customer service skills, we enjoy shopping there even more. I'm always amazed that I'm unable to leave this store without buying something, however that says more about the product than the store presentation and service. The service level is just right, in that the associates will inquire if I need any help, but are not overbearing or swarm too much. My best advice is to come during the middle of the week, and definitely not the weekend. I worked at the Napa Outlets for a holiday season, and weekends are a hotbed for tour buses heading through wine country, and either the product will be picked over or getting a fitting room will be an issue. Would highly recommend J. Crew Factory, and this store particularly for anyone who wants the J. Crew aesthetic without their recent price jump. read more
