Everything in this store is the cutest! They literally have something for everyone. Was glad to find this store when back on the East it was my fav. Plus, when you walk in this store they have amazing appetizer snacks & drinks for all customers. Each day is a different theme & welcome for guests. They are located in the heart of downtown- are a great stop for clothing, fragrances, kitchen wear & literally anything imaginable possible! All cashiers & hosts were soo friendly and everything in the store was super easy to locate. Definitely will be back. read more

The shop itself and the selection, is great. However, the employees did not greet me or even look at me the whole time I was in the store. I felt utterly ignored and invaluable as a customer. I was not acknowledged until I went to the dressing room where there was finally someone who was friendly and helpful. read more

Tried on a bunch of things and bought my favorites. Things were very well organized in the sale section when i came Sunday morning when they just opened. We were greeted upon arrival. That was a nice touch. We went in because they said that all sale items were an extra 40%off. We looked at the clearance rack and I found two tops that fit me really well and were in the $20 range so just in my price range. After having a good look at them in the mirror, I decided not to get them, they just didn't have the wow factor. There was a good selection of clothing my size, Small. I was surprised, usually everything is large or extra large. On our way out I saw an advent calendars with cosmetics that caught my attention, but then decided I probably wouldn't use the products so I passed. It did like a fun item. I weren't on such a budget I would have taken a second look. I also saw some amazing kitchen towels that I had to get one for my girlfriend for Christmas. I wanted to get one of the Christmas ones, but then by the time she opened it it would have been too late to use them this season. So I settled on a happy one. My sweet husband got me the Chicago bean one, I loved it but didn't want to splurge. He splurged on me. I love this store, it always has lots of desirable items, but the price point is out of my range. So the place is definitely a splurge place for me. The dish towel was a total splurge. $25, it sounds a little pricy for me, but I think my girlfriend will love it. I will be back, next time we're in time. Last time I was here I got some cool stocking. I still haven't worn them due to it was too cold for the event I bought them for. read more

**PREJUDICE "LADIES" WORKING HERE** I purchased a skirt from this location last season and only recently realized the security tag had been left on. I made an extra trip back to the store to have it removed. When I entered, the woman at the front radioed to the staff, saying, "Someone is coming in with an item that still has a security tag on it." Two employees at the counter watched me walk up without greeting me or offering assistance. I explained that the tag had been left on my skirt and that my receipt was available in my account. One of the employees looked at the skirt, then at me, and asked again, "Do you have the receipt?" Moments later, two additional employees came over and looked me up and down, examining both me and the skirt. I felt completely judged and singled out over a mistake that the store made. I would not be returning the item if the tag had been properly removed in the first place. As expected, the receipt was in my account--because I purchased the skirt legitimately. Yet the way I was treated suggested otherwise. The behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unnecessary. When I expressed how uncomfortable and offended I felt, the front associate responded, "Well ma'am, we've had a lot of theft recently." As if that justified the assumptions they made about me. I will never shop at this location again. No customer deserves to be treated this way. Shame on the staff for handling the situation with prejudice instead of courtesy and professionalism read more

This location has the worst customer service. Every time I visit Napa I shop on 1st street. No one greeted me ask me if I needed help. These girls couldn't care less about customer service. Do better Anthropologie. read more

From a corporate perspective, their return/exchange policy is outdated. I went in to exchange a pair of earrings I got for Secret Santa, and was not able to do so without a receipt. The manager said she couldn't verify the price they were purchased for. I said, no problem, I'll take credit for whatever the current price is. I just wanted to exchange. It was not possible. Secondly, the manager had zero customer service and just seemed "over it". As I walked away, I watched her roll her eyes to her colleague. Acting as a petulant teenager. Really unprofessional. I've been shopping at Anthropology in SF for years, but her attitude alone makes me never want to walk in that store again. read more

The weather wasn't so great in Napa for wine tasting so my friend and I headed to the Downtown shopping district instead. This Anthropologie store is located near a Free People and LuluLemon. We were able to find parking a block away. I was greeted pleasantly by staff when we first entered the store. I had chosen some Mother's Day gifts and gone ahead with my checkout. We weren't in a hurry to leave so as we were browsing some more near the front of the store, I noticed we were being watched by a tall, blonde staff member. She even made some comment about how she does that too... continues to shop after she's made a purchase. My friend and I both thought the comment was obnoxious. Yes, I made a purchase and you noticed I have a bag and I'm still in the store. A word to the management... change up your approach. read more

Read the previous reviews (on Google) before coming in and sad to say it's still the same. Coming from San Diego, I went to almost every single Anthro around me and always had a wonderful experience. It's my favorite place to shop... so I'm a bit saddened this one is a beautiful store in a beautiful location in Napa but I was also the only POC and was so uncomfortable. I was not greeted like the other guests coming in after me, which I don't care too much for. But then I was given almost disapproving looks and spoken to by staff so indifferently like I was a bother to be there and to ask for help on pricing of an unlabeled item. I'd rather make the trip to Walnut Creek or shop online than return to this location. read more
