At the same time, another employee positioned an iPhone near where we were standing, which made us feel uncomfortable and singled out. We are both African American, and the behavior of the employees felt prejudiced and unnecessary. We entered the store fully intending to purchase fragrances, but left feeling disappointed and unwilling to spend our hard-earned money in an environment where we felt judged rather than welcomed.

This particular Nordstrom Rack is in The Block Northway shopping center. This Nordstrom Rack has two floors. The top level contains merchandise for men, children, and home, and the bottom level contains merchandise for women. I focused on the women's clothing. I saw an assortment of shirts, pants, shorts, dresses, coats, and other apparel that previous retailers could not sell. I recognized brands such as Calvin Klein and Nike, but I had not previously heard of some of the other brands. I thought that the prices were low to moderate. I decided to purchase a pair of UnionBay shorts for $23. The cashier quickly and correctly rang up my purchase.

There a certain few staff members that are just plain rude. I bought an item during one of their busy drops, got home and realized it was badly stained. I went to take it back and the woman responds "you didn't notice that when you bought it?" That is no way to talk to a customer ever! Not to mention this was during a busy drop where people just want to get out of the store, and their staff is responsible for inspecting the clothing when buying! This isn't the first time this has happened as I have been refused help in store multiple times. Would definitely recommend going to a different resale shop.

I should have listened to my gut rather than dealing with the miserable store associate in charge of checking in and making decisions on toy acceptance. In no way am I discouraged to come back because of the rules/my toys not meeting requirements like not having the balls with the cute hoop or phone attachment to the walker (probably still stuck in my couch). Easy fix! And had i been told in a way a little less dismissive, combative, and rude I would be likely to try again with all the pieces/meeting requirements! Theres a more pleasant way to explain to potential sellers or turn them away with a more genuine, "sorry." I'm sure I didn't have this experience at a different location, although some items were not accepted. She was also unsure of answers for some technical questions i had using the kiosk for check in. So, in my opinion, a bad attitude mixed with an apathetic "I don't know" warrants my recommendation to try another location or marketplace. I know I will!

The anchor stores are Nordstrom, Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Luxury/designer stores include Burberry, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Co., Kate Spade, and Tory Burch. The mall also has many lower-priced clothing stores, including American Eagle, Banana Republic, Buckle, Chico's, Express, GAP, H&M, Hollister, J.Crew, J.Jill, Levi's, LOFT, Madewell, PacSun, Victoria's Secret, White House Black Market, and Zumiez. Unfortunately, a few of my favorite clothing stores have closed since my previous review. Several other stores sell shoes and accessories, such as Coach, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, Lens Crafters, Pandora, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Tumi, VisionWorks, and Warby Parker. The mall also has electronics stores such as Apple and phone stores. Stores for home goods include Crate and Barrel, RH (formerly Restoration Hardware), Tempur-Pedic, and Williams-Sonoma. Current restaurants are Auntie Anne's, Cheesecake Factory, Plaza Azteca, Nordstrom Ruscello, several casual restaurants in the food court, etcetera. Received over $200 value damaged product bought online from this business. Owner told me to file a…read moreclaim with UPS because her hands are "tied" even though as the shipper it's her claim as she will eventually receive the refund. She refused to take the damaged item back and insisted that I file the claim. I then filed a claim as the recipient to which UPS told me to contact shipper to proceed with the claim. UPS also confirmed that shipper will receive any refund. Owner ignored all emails and communications from me and never responded including any request to cooperate with the UPS claim. It's possible she's intentionally uncooperative. Very dishonest and does not run her business in good faith.
