I bought a…read more2017 Nissan Versa from Byrider back in May after some rough years with used cars -- my credit put me in a tough spot, but I needed reliable transportation to keep my job, so I went with them knowing I'd be paying more than the car was worth. Within the first 90 days, the transmission failed. I'd already put a few hundred dollars into fluid and filter maintenance trying to save it, but it was beyond that. When I brought it in, there was zero pushback -- no accusations about how I drove it, no runaround. They sent it out to a transmission specialist (Mister Transmission), covered the full repair under warranty, and the only things I paid were a $50 deductible and $30 for a belt -- on an invoice that came out to over $4,800. The car drives better now than the day I bought it. What really stood out was how they handled the in-between. Once they found out how much I was spending on Uber while my car was in the shop, they got me a loaner -- and when that one had issues, they swapped it out, and did it again when the second one had problems too. Three loaners, no hassle, no arguing. Sherry and Janet in sales went above and beyond from the start, and Wanda in service was fantastic throughout the whole repair process -- clear communication, honest updates, and they simply followed through on everything they said they would. I came in expecting to just tolerate this car for a year. Instead, I got a team that earned my trust. Highly recommend. Attached is the invoice: almost $5000 and my out of pocket was $80 !!!
