I'm somewhat choosy with what I read, meaning that I usually have a "shopping list" with me and/or am searching for specific genres. Thus, I don't always find exactly what I'm looking for. With that said, I love coming just to soak up the atmosphere. This B&N is, as other reviewers have noted, well-organized, clean, and fairly easy to navigate in terms of knowing which sections are where. The staff is generally friendly and, if they don't have something, will offer to order it for you or update you when it's in. Some sections I frequent, such as Christian fiction, are usually and noticeably less stocked than others. Also, unless a new release is very popular, it may not be found here. I've also been here on occasions where the baked goods looked less than fresh. But again, if I'm really on a book hunt, I can usually find something new and interesting to try. A quick note: The store's entrance is accessible to people with disabilities in that there is a curb cut and the sidewalk is flat, but the door is on the heavy side, so be aware. Also, there are spots to sit in the cafe, and a couple of reading chairs near there, but there could be more. I'd love to see this little bookshop "expand" in many ways; current and future bookworms need a haven!

There were more and it was nice to have a fun little thought provoking thing while I waited for my sister to check out. I told the man with glasses and also bald that it's s not okay to sell this. He immediately said "Why" And proceeded to tell me how they're also thinking about having Hitler's Mein Kampf in their shop. He basically forced me into a "intellectual" convo about the power of disturbance. Little does he know I actually confront nazis online everyday. I also know that the only person buying a Confederate cook book is a racist white person. You also made it very affordable for them. It was enclosed in plastic, so it could've had very violent content in it that the shop was protecting for the "right" customer. I then proceeded to tell him he had this cookbook out with no context and who is he selling this to? He listened and said thank you for the feedback. I then said you're a white man who doesn't get to have opinions about it. Dear Man, You forced me to confront your racism and affinity for kkk literature.
