A man emerged from the back area of the quaint store clothed in a beautiful purple silk kimono topped 6 inches above his knees. He wore nothing beneath but had a radiance about him when he made eye contact with you in a way that made you feel as safe as you were as an infant while your mother nestled you in her bosom....okay, I'm done with the story. What I'm trying to say is, Joe is frigging awesome and has a thorough knowledge of all types of music and makes fabulous suggestions regarding bands you may not have heard of to add to your repertoire. It is a small space with only a few tables and a small bar with windows facing the street/sidewalk. There is also a small register and window to the outside that you can walk up and order to-go. I walked in and ordered a small pizza salad with chicken added to the Caesar. The two came out in separate containers and when I got to my Airbnb I put the salad on top of the pizza slices and ate some side by side. The pizza was thin and flavorful with the pesto and mozzarella. The Caesar had fresh lettuce, but the chicken wasn't my favorite. Despite being in near mint condition, he offers them at really great prices! Another thing I appreciated is that he takes care to put the price stickers on the plastic protector and not directly on the jacket as so many shops do.
