We enjoyed mimosas, coffee, grapes and chocolate bread - it's bring your own. There is a head (bathroom) onboard. We sailed past the ship dry docks and buildings - treat to see the freighters up close! Captain Tom zig zagged through the bay all the way out to the lighthouse. Susan provided a nice narration of what we were passing. It was warm when we went so I was a tad hot - could be cold on other sails. They also offer a sunset cruise. You have run of the ship if you'd like. This is a great relaxing way to spend the morning or evening. They take a max of six guests - it was just us so extra sweet! I believe kids are welcome but double check.

His dad was filling in as the first mate and the respect and kindness he showed to his dad was awesome. The weather was a bit choppy and instead of having his dad run lines captain Jon took control and ran lines and let his dad guide the boat. Only at his dads asking did he have him run the lines and his dad was just as great. We hit it good and had our limit by 7:15 am. I would recommend captain Jon anytime and we will be going back out with him in the future. No reason to go elsewhere! 10 out of 10

Our boat was captained by Brian and his deck hand/entertainment of the night was Ben; both very professional and got us out and back in safely. Ben was fantastic on the acoustic guitar, excellent voice and sense of humor. It was a small group when we went but he still worked the crowd. The boat was clean and I appreciated that they had binoculars available in each bench seat so you could take advantage of seeing the sights. Ben also does some of the scenic tours so he threw in a few nuggets of info about the area in between songs but overall the focus was on the music and enjoying the views. Sunset was perfect! Would highly recommend.

There are grills and picnic tables outside to enjoy the waterfront and a community fire pit for gathering in the the evenings. We also rented a boat for two days and were able to use the dock right outside. Laurel at the front desk is so welcoming the staff is quick to respond and make our stay both comfortable and memorable.

I was forced to check out after one night because the room was uninhabitable due to severe health hazards. Upon entry, the room reeked of strong, unknown chemical fumes. We attempted to ventilate, but were forced to close the windows immediately due to loud, disruptive guests and heavy marijuana smoke drifting in from across the street. The chemical smell did not dissipate; instead, the fumes triggered a severe asthma attack and heart palpitations within hours. The conditions were so dangerous that I had no choice but to check out the next morning and drive home to ensure my safety. Crucially, this was a holiday weekend. The hotel undoubtedly rebooked this room immediately after we left, suffering zero financial loss. Yet, they refused to refund the remaining two nights and kept the full $750 charge. The Snug Harbor Inn breached the basic warranty of habitability by providing a room with unknown chemical hazards that caused an immediate medical reaction. Keeping the full payment for a room I could not use, while they re-rented it to someone else, is unjust enrichment and a clear disregard for guest safety. Do not book here; the management prioritizes profit over health.

Led by a docent and captain, the trip takes you from Ellison Bay through Hedgehog Harbor, out into Death's Door, and near Plum and Pilot Islands. We learned all about Plum Island, Pilot Island, Washington Island, Death's Door, Hedgehog Harbor, and other places and events (like the great storm of 1892) which made for a fun ride. It's a 90-minute tour and well worth the time and money!
