Getting water running again was our priority but he suggested starting on the leaks. Not long after beginning, Bub's father told me they couldn't attach their fitting to the well line because water was coming through; realizing my well line is gravity-fed after beginning. I had to pull the well line above the water level myself before they could install a shut-off valve. My well cover is about 300lbs and the line is 8ft down. I'm not sure what their plan would've been if I was not there. After saying the water was flowing again, they later told me my pump was done for and not to run it. They quoted $925 for a new pump, not including labor. With two hours of labor, the bill also came to $925 and my family was no closer to having running water. The materials installed were six feet of copper pipe, several compression fittings, a shut off valve, and a pipe hanger. I called another plumber afterward, who knew right away (just from a phone call) that my pump was fine. He had it running smoothly in minutes by clearing a port of sediment and then adjusting the pressure switch. Bub talked a lot about his experience and showed up with help but needed me to find a way to stop the water in order to address the first leak and then either missed or ignored the step that would've gotten my pump working. Their website claims they're transparent and budget-friendly, but I wasn't told his extreme rate upfront, the bill wasn't itemized (still waiting 9 days after he confirmed he would), and I nearly paid for an unnecessary pump replacement. Leaving 2 stars because the copper work itself was solid, but charging $250 per hour for six feet of easily accessible pipe work feels unreasonable. Being given the wrong diagnosis on the pump was unacceptable and raises concerns about their expertise or honesty.

Brandon fit me in, fixed the sink quickly, and was polite and professional. I would definitely recommend Bub's to anyone needing plumbing services!

I was treated with disrespect before the equipment was even installed (twice the installers missed the service date without calling to inform me) when they finally arrived they caused a major flood in my cellar with damaged my furnace. When I informed the owner he didn't even apologize. I have been calling and emailing every week for three months and they still haven't put me on the list for maintainance. In fact they claim they didn't receive and voicemail or emails from me. I offered to show them my phone records. They declined. I threatened to get my attorney involved and gave them two weeks to respond to me. I heard nothing. I called today and was told I was still not scheduled for maintainance because the secretary was "not impressed with the tone" of my last email. Despite the fact that I pointed out my tone had always been cordial up to the last email, she wasn't willing to listen to me. I have never had a worse experience with any company, and strongly recommend that if you're considering hiring them you will take this review to heart. I spent $5700 with them, the equipment has never worked correctly and they have treated me with a truly amazing level of disrespect for more then 3 months. I wish a rating of negative stars was an option, honestly, even giving them one star is more than they deserve.

Hello, I am writing…read morethis message to share my wonderful experience with a recent service performed at my home. I had an excellent experience with GAP Mountain Drilling, LLC, a small, family-owned company founded by Garth Dubois and headquartered in Franklin, New Hampshire. They came highly recommended by a trusted family friend, Andy Davis, and I am truly grateful for that recommendation. I first contacted GAP Mountain Drilling at 8:30 a.m. and left a message. To my surprise, I received a call back within just 10 minutes, at 8:40 a.m., from Ms. Yasmine, who handles and filters all new potential jobs. From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. She listened carefully to my situation, responded promptly, and immediately made me feel confident that I was in good hands. Within just a few hours of that initial call, Ms. Yasmine provided clear and detailed information that allowed us to move forward with repairing my well pump. She was completely transparent and honest about the costs and walked me through the entire job process step by step, which I truly appreciated. Once we agreed to proceed, she followed up promptly with confirmed ETA arrival times for the technicians, keeping communication clear and consistent throughout. The technicians David (Senior) and his son Zak (Junior) arrived right on time. This father-and-son team immediately assessed the situation, quickly troubleshooting and confirming that my well pump needed to be replaced. Both were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring. They put me at ease right away and assured me that everything would be taken care of. In just two and a half hours, they successfully replaced my well pump. Their efficiency, expertise, and teamwork were truly impressive. They provided exceptional value for the level of service delivered, treated my property with great respect, and left the work area clean, organized, and spotless once the job was complete. If I had to rate GAP Mountain Drilling, LLC from start to finish on a scale of 1 to 5, I would confidently give them a 5+. From the initial phone call to the completion of the work, this was truly one of the best service experiences I have ever had. Their professionalism, honesty, responsiveness, and quality of workmanship reflect the old-fashioned way of doing business where customer care and doing the job right truly matter. I highly recommend GAP Mountain Drilling to all New Hampshire Seacoast families. When it comes to wells, pumps, or geothermal systems, they are without question the clear and trusted choice.
