I called Mr Flores last Friday to give me a quote on two palm tree removals, he came to my house Saturday, said let's do it Monday. Here it is Monday morning and they have removed a couple hundred feet of 50 year old Mexican palm growth, and look to be done and cleaned the yard all before lunch. I had two trees cut and trimmed by J. Flores and his crew. The palm tree in front of my house was in badly need of cutting. I was expecting a trim and realizing it would have to be trimmed the following year. Mr. Flores and crew trimmed and cut the height is still there the branches and peaty looking cones thankfully are now gone. The backyard tree stood about 35 feet on a steep slope it was in danger of blowing down in a heavy wind, again Flores and crew cut and trim so it kept its height and shape, I didn't recognize the tree when he finished, it's beautifully done and it will be several years until I have it done again. Some companies cut & trim just enough so that you have to have it done yearly I'm so grateful for the way J. Flores and crew handled the job. AND they clean up after!!! read more

Showed up when they said they would. Did a very nice job and removed all the stuff they cut which was 1. large Sequoia tree 2. large Queen palm and trimmed my other Sequoia and 4 of my neighbors' Sequoias. Very nicely done and cleaned up and gone in less than 3 hours for what I think was a very reasonable price. Total was $625 for my part when I got a couple of ridiculous quotes from other places of $1000 just for the one Sequoia and $2500 (not a mistype). I highly recommend them. This company came to my home to trim my queen palm trees in 2020. The workers climbed the trees from the ground with spikes and now almost all of my palms are sick with trunk rot and fungus. Improper sanitizing of tools is what causes this. They also over trimmed my olive tree and made it really thin and unattractive, leaving it susceptible to disease. I had to call another company to find out how to fix what they did. The damages are almost $900. This company also provides no invoices so while their website says they are licensed by California, they're lacking in professionalism. I have yet to hear back from them about being compensated for the damages. read more

My neighbor highly recommended J. Flores Tree Service. I contacted Jose and he and his son Marcos were quick to respond and arrange a time to check out the tree I wanted trimmed. Jose came by and I explained that we wanted our fruitless plum trimmed as branches were hanging over into our neighbors yard. The tree is quite large for the space it is in and I felt like it was "taking over" the corner of our yard. Jose said it needed to be trimmed and pruned. He also told me about some of our other trees but that they could be done in the fall. I appreciated his honesty and how knowledgeable he is. He and his crew were able to come two days early and had the job completed and area cleaned up in 30 minutes or less. My husband and I are very satisfied and recommend J.
