Staff was rude. I drove out of my way to see what they had to offer only to be treated like I didn't belong at there store.

Great job working with Jeff on several paver additions, a fire pit and fountain. He has lots of ideas and vision.

Ivan, there is no way to respond to what you posted in response to my review so I am editing my review. My parents don't want you anywhere near their house. We'll find someone else to fix your shoddy work.

I hired Ivan Reyes to extend my concrete patio by 10 x 10. I paid $564 by check for materials & was…read morescheduled for Friday 4/12 at 9 AM - he did not show or call. I left a voicemail & emailed. At 11 AM he said he was on his way, showed up at 5:45 PM and no work was done. Saturday 4/13. he showed up without communication around 6 PM, dug a hole, and left. They did not call 811 before or after. Sunday 4/14 they began concrete, were there for most of the day, & left around 7 PM without saying anything. They left the patio half-done with a rigid stop line and dirt all over. On 4/15 they come back while I am at work. On camera, they came at 10 AM. All of a sudden at noon I got an email saying the job was complete and to rate it. When I came home I was completely taken aback when I saw the condition they left it in. The other half they did was completely rushed and uneven, crooked lines, very deep. Where they tried to blend the halves was a hump and did not conceal whatsoever. They left heaps of dirt all over my neighbor's yard which he said he would fix before they left. On Tuesday 4/16 I called & told him the condition was unacceptable; he said they would come back to take off the wood and move the dirt. He said what else do you want, are you mad about a line?" I told him it was unacceptable, & he said he would come over and put a "skin" on it, or a thin layer to try to make it look smooth cosmetically. He said he was on his way to me now, he never should up that day or contacted me at all. Wednesday 4/17 I contacted him saying that a thin "skin" over it was not going to hold up & it was not an acceptable solution. I told him it needed to be redone correctly. His assistant emailed me back and said he is not redoing it because nothing is wrong with it and it is going to crack anyway so the skin was fine. I told them I was not ok with it and they refused to redo it. I would like to add my HOA president was present when Ivan's employees called him out in his initial lie (of many) that he was going to fix it by telling us they were only told to fix the "worse half." They even said that they would not want this work at their house. Moreover, Ivan became argumentative and stated he didn't want to do business in my community after he was told by the HOA president that he was no longer going to be board-approved for any jobs. Ivan's employees also wreaked of alcohol that day, and have left garbage and cigarette butts all over. Believe it or not, this was just the beginning of the issue. He eventually sent me a text message and said if I let him try to fix it, if it cracked within one year he would redo it. I gave him a date (which he never responded to or confirmed) and just showed up to put the thin layer on our patio. He said not to walk on it for 2 days. No furniture of any kind was placed on it, nor had anyone walked on it for nine days. It started peeling and discoloring immediately. I reached out to him to address the cracks, and he went back on his word and tried to tell me he would redo it, but I would need to pay for the materials...... in what world? I bought materials, they used them up and did the job wrong. Moreover, he left permanent shoe marks on the original concrete patio I had which will never go away even with a pressure washer. The patio looks terrible, it's uneven, chipping and breaking away, and he got concrete stains on my awning pillars, the edges are shaped like a 5-year-old's ceramic project and he refuses to respond. His wife, Daniella, has poor managers and instigated the issue saying that anyone else would have charged us more for the job and made several wicked and unprofessional comments. I have since been engaged with the BBB and have had this all investigated. I have provided evidence of all communication, photos, and a timeline of all of this. While I wait for resolution, I have noticed more and more negative reviews of their poor work pouring in on multiple websites and it is no wonder why he is avoiding me. He can't afford to fix everyone's shoddy and botched concrete work. They did their website with a section that states that they are "loved by their customers" and every customer comment is negative. Please do not do business with this company. It will cause severe and expensive damage and more money in the end to clean it up.

This company had poured a driveway in the past for me without issue so I said ok - get a quote. Eddie came out, quoted the job, and was hired - a week later I got a text asking if I wanted the existing pavers in the area to be saved after the concrete was poured, and that he would be out that day to measure for the prep work. I said yes. This was the only time Eddy contracting spoke with me during the job. Two days later no one had come by, and I had no contact. The landscaper brought a different contractor over to quote the job & agreed to contact Eddy to cancel. The next day I had to go out of town and returned to find the pavers removed from the area. The landscaper was not able to get a hold of Eddy, but the other company confirmed it was not them, so Eddy had done it. The landscaper called Eddy again to cancel, a subsequent phone call the next & Eddy was not answering his phone, another phone call was made and a voicemail left not to finish the job. I left town and returned 2 days later to find a concrete slab poured and covered with a Tarp. After we confirmed it was Eddy's work - the other company was informed that we couldn't continue as Eddy refused to answer the phone, return messages, or accept a cancellation. I wasn't truly upset until the next day when his employees had come to lift the tarp and I saw the pad that was poured. This was the first time I face to face got to meet anyone from his company on my property and speak to them about the job. The job was to connect two concrete foundation blocks that were about 8" deep and make one solid level pad out of all of them. Eddy's team poured a small concrete patio slab over top of existing base material that was under the removed pavers. The amount of concrete was about half of that of the other pads, and not all of the pavers had been removed so they jutted between the existing deck work and the concrete. Eddy contracting then hammered out the pavers on the border from the pad and under the deck - revealing a large nearly 3" gap. The pad was not flat foundation, it was sloped. I was told that it had to be this way for drainage - even though what was asked for was a flat block to connect to the existing foundation blocks. They asked for a check, I told them I wouldn't pay until I spoke with their boss. Steven Eddy called me demanding money, no courtesy of "how can we fix this, what's the problem?" even though just two years prior I handed him $12,000.00 cash for a driveway. I asked him if he saw the job his people did, he said no. After an hour of talking he said that he would see what could be done to fix it and contact me back. I explained what was wrong, why I was unhappy, and how it wasn't what I had ordered installed. A little over a week passed, this morning Steve Eddy called me demanding money. He then proceeded to tell me that I was crazy, there was nothing wrong (even though it's a completely different project than the landscaper hired him for) and started insulting my home (unfinished stucco) He became, loud, angry, and when told to calm down threatened me and told me to meet him somewhere to fight. I'm a grown adult, being asked to meet for a fight like I'm some testosterone imbalanced teenager. I still have to pay now to have the shoddy work removed. Eddy was told he can see me in court if he feels he deserves payment. The worst part is there was no communication with me prior to the job work being done, or even during. The entire time I've told him that if he repairs the job I would pay, but not until it's right. He would rather insult someone verbally and threaten violence. Very professional. If you would like to overpay for shoddy work, then be threatened with violence when you asked for it to be fixed, whilst having to pay someone else to rip it all out and re-do it. Well, this is the company you'll get that from.
