He finishes one job before moving on to the next. He is competent and focused. He did in two days what we thought would take at least a week. He is like a machine when he's working. He replaced several lights that were twelve feet high, fixed two leaking pipes under two sinks, removed and replaced a kitchen faucet set, and went on to remove and install two standard water heaters, all in one day! He came back the next day and single-handedly replaced some rotting decking with 20' boards, and he was done by lunchtime! We thought just removing the old boards would have been an all day job. Mr Grunwald is one of those rare individuals you meet that you will know immediately you can trust to the ends of the earth. He exudes honesty. He had the ceiling fan installed within 20 minutes and the removal of the pavers didn't take him long either. Both were done professionally and he even took the pavers away for us. The stairs were a much harder job since all the mitre cuts had to be done freehand due to none of the angles being right angles. Jerome was the only handyman to respond to my "Yelp feeler" to remove the old DirecTV satellite dish from my 2-story fascia board (other than the "I can't do it" responses), and he showed up on time with a ton of enthusiasm for the job. Going up an extension ladder with unsteady footing to a 2-story roofline to remove a sizeable dish from that height is pretty hairy, but he preformed this job like he was working on his own personal property and he had a personal vendetta with that dish. It looked kind of iffy at first, but he stuck with it and got the job done.
