I came here with some family so we had a party of eight, we had plenty of room at a large table inside. There are indeed mules on site in case anyone was wondering. You may not get to see them depending on weather and their moods. The staff are all friendly and helpful. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, we stayed inside to get away from the July in Texas heat. The food is good. Just some solid snacks to go with your wine samples. Get a pizza or some dips, skip the cheese boards. Also, skip the premixed espresso martini. The flights are a great way to try a lot of drinks. The brewery nearby also has beer flights which was an interesting experience since I picked a bunch of random ones. Maybe curate yours a bit better than I did.

What a cute find! They have a distillery, brewery and winery all in one at this location. I love the brewery's name, Schitz Creek Brewery & Distillery. Great prices for flights (~$15), and ended up going home with a bottle of their (green) Apple Moscato. Friendly folks and they serve pizza, when we went on a Sat. Large outdoor/indoor spaces to hang out at, dog friendly, and resident donkeys on site. Live music too.

I was asked to reverify my purchase information, then the follow up email claimed 3-5 business days. Almost two weeks later, I was suppose to have received my purchase; it didn't happen. The original follow up email said the ordered was messed up by one of their "warehouse employees" and I had two options: 1) resend the items purchased 2) issue full refund Before I could respond, they sent me another email saying the package was damaged upon delivery, and will issue me a refund with 3-5 business days. That did not happened. Since the fiasco, I have emailed and called multiple times without any response! Huge disappointment from Texas!!!

AB Liqour #1 Leander TX Online Order…read more - This is a deliberate and calculated SCAM. The company provides order and tracking information, but then ships a package to a completely different address so it falsely appears as "delivered." This tactic is designed to eliminate your ability to dispute the charge--leaving you without proof, without the product, and without a refund. The result: no product, no accountability, and no recourse through your credit card company. This is not a mistake--it is fraud. A coordinated scheme to deceive customers and steal their money. Do not order from this company. They are operating as thieves.

The…read moreChicken Bacon Ranch has the perfect combination of flavors, and the Margherita is fresh, simple, and absolutely delicious. The service is outstanding. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The brewery is clean, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the beer is excellent. It's one of my favorite places to sit for a while, enjoy a beer, get some work done, and then head home with a couple of pizzas for leftovers. The online ordering system is also incredibly convenient. I can place my order before I leave, see exactly when it will be ready, and time the drive perfectly. Everything is hot and ready when I arrive. There are good local pizza places much closer to where I live, but I still choose to drive about an hour to Obsidian Brewery because that's how good it is. Excellent food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere make every trip worth it.

One stop shopping for primo eating and drinking good times…read more * * * Obsidian Brewery makes beer. I have no idea how the beer is. I may visit Obsidian Brewery time after time after time after time and never find out how their beer is. This is because a) They have an outstanding bar and b) They have an outstanding kitchen. For me, beer is a hardship beverage you drink when there is nothing else better available. When I go to a bar, I can sometimes be looking for mix-mastering. Usually I am looking for outstanding top of the line hard spirits. * * * When I walked into Obsidian, I looked at their bar. It was love at first sight. In front of me were twenty yards of three shelves of the most wonderful bottles I could possibly imagine. Half of them I had never heard of before. * * * I settled on a Buddha's Hand Gin. Buddha and Gin rarely appear in the same sentence Never mind the same label on a bottle. I ordered it straight up. I went immediately to Nirvana. Forget the meditation and the austerities. The Buddha's Hand Gin was as good as a trip to the Himalayas. Buddha's Hand is an obscure citrus fruit that grows multiple protuberances the way some horseradishes do. It is golden and looks like a hand. Ergo the name. The Buddha's Hand Gin is a citrus tinged gin with an edge more like orange zest than like orange juice. The additional botanicals make it strong, attention grabbing, fruity and yet combative. I was absolutely fascinated. Note that Buddha's Hand Gin is only one of the many items they have to explore there. I am totally ready to do more exploring. * * * The kitchen at Obsidian is also of distinction. The savvy local guide I came with adored his Thai Curry Wood Fired Rings. I went with a Cheesy Bread. This is open-faced grilled cheese on a thick slice of bread the size of a shoebox, with a wonderful homemade tomato sauce on about 1/3 of it. It is the best cheese pizza you have ever had. It is what cheese pizza is supposed to be if you don't use the standard canned ingredients that institutional providers sell to Domino's. I was as in love with my cheese bread as I was with my citrus gin. * * * The company was also outstanding. Which is just as well because Obsidian is a social place. Lots of Leanderthals having a fine time in couples and groups. This is not a loner's loser bar. You know - the dark rooms with misfits drinking their sixth beer while watching TV. This is a good folks good times full-of-sunlight place. So you definitely want to come with good folks. * * * Good food, good bottles, good people. And if you are feeling chipper, You can even have a homemade beer to celebrate.
