I went in to buy a new belt and both employees were rude as hell and disinterested in my situation with an utter lack of empathy. I still managed to find a belt and buy it on the spot. Two weeks later while in the same restroom at The True North convenience store, the new belt I had just bought broke right in half at the Buckle. Again I went to the fashion warehouse and they again were inhospitable and wouldn't help me it at all in exchanging the belt. So now I'm stuck holding my pants up as I walk around because I made the mistake of buying a cheap faulty product at a cheap store with inferior products that don't care when they break. They'll help with a smile. Need to call the store and order by phone another size? They'll gladly take the time and have it delivered to your front door at no charge. My husband (who is never a patient shopper but was that day) finally said "Make up your mind...they've been closed for an hour" I had no idea, so I apologized and was told that was perfectly fine cause they were enjoying helping me. That's the thing about this company - they treat their employees well and I've never met anyone who didn't love their product and love working here. If wanted a job I would be working for them. But it's all about the clothes - the comfort and feel. And wearability. And how they make you feel. You can dress it up or dress it down...Whether planning to spend the day in the kitchen or go to a ball (I have worn a dress I bought here to a formal ball). I have clothing that is years old that never wears out. I might get sick of wearing it, but it doesn't wear out. It used to be when I got a new catalog, I would have to jump in the car and head to Cincinnati. Everybody there knew my name and said they had been waiting for me to show up! So it was a happy day when they finally came to Dayton. And now we have two here...they make it easier to locate my size. But this is my home store...and they not only know my name, they know my number. And when I say "call me when this jacket comes in" I know my phone will be ringing in a matter of days. She whispered something to the girl next to her and then said "yes, we have a BOGO on sweaters". I said "I can get TWO for The price of one ?!" She said "yes!" I said "that's a game changer " and had my daughter run and get the two she had wanted . A few min later I looked at my receipt and saw I was just given the buy one, get one 50% off. That's a very different thing. I went back to the store and expressed this to the woman and told her I felt it was misleading and a very different thing. She was extremely snarky, rude and snapped "well, if you don't want it just bring it back!" I said I couldn't do that as now my daughter had her heart set on it. When she whispered to her coworker earlier, It gave me the impression it was an upcoming promo that she was getting permission for. When I called her on it, it was obvious she knew what she had done as she was so defensive and rude . With the overall theme of this beautiful Store, this made the incident even more disappointing. She clearly doesn't belong and is void of the right spirit or ethics. She doesn't speak well for the store . The younger gals there were great.
