I always enjoyed visits to this mall with my Mom-in-Law and her great grandchildren! Plentiful parking, a clean mall and best thing - a Macy's! I'm from North AL and we have to drive 90 minutes north or south to shop at Macy's. MIL and I were always looking for clothing for the grands and found really nice looking outfits at Macy's. She and I both love Bath and Body Works and always made time to pop in there and purchase some favorites. There's nearby restaurants and we always took the grand girls to get their sugar fix at a store in that shares a parking lot with the mall [I don't recall the store name]. Great place for the holidays! Not a bad size, two floors, plenty of stores to shop in. You've been on their busy days they aren't that busy, and the salesman are not too pushy. The food court could use some work, not many selections and pretty small. Nice little indoor walking track with signs equipped to show me the way I believe it's 1.5 miles. DO NOT PURCHASE from EURO LUXE SKIN & BEAUTY!!! There's a 40% mark up on ALL of their products. They have several kiosks throughout the mall and they claim that their prices are so high because they are authorized sellers who purchase from Wholesalers. They got me! I paid $45/each for 2 products that really can be purchased for $23-$27 elsewhere and I paid $60 for another product that retails for $34 elsewhere. I got excited and just paid, I should've walked away and done just a little bit of research. You can exchange unopened products within 7 days but they do not offer refunds (that's printed on the receipt) so that's when you learn their refund policy. Just DON'T!!!! read more

We drove 2 1/2 hours from Louisville to come to this mall for the Pokemon store, and ended up staying a little longer than intended because this mall is really nice! This mall is really large with 2 floors, and has a lot of popular chain stores to visit. They've got a nice food court too! It does seem to get pretty busy on the weekends, so be cautious of that. I wouldn't mind the drive to come back here again someday! read more

Fairfield Commons is another mall in the Dayton area. It's been around for quite awhile. This still looks physically much better than Dayton Mall. It's not as easy to get around. This is bigger but there's a lot of crap and empty stores. It has several major anchors. Right now these include Elder-Beerman, Macy's, and Sears. These are found in pretty much any mall, so just these don't help make it any special. It doesn't have that good of a food court. There's a lot of fast food and it's overpriced. It has typical options like a Chinese place that makes Panda Express seem good. It's still a popular place to go in Beavercreek. It's possible to find better stores elsewhere. The prices aren't bad here. read more

Half of this mall is still open with lots of great shops, the other half of the mall is closed, like abandoned, shuttered and ghost town closed which is kind of freaky odd. I enjoyed walking this well lit, clean shopping mall and supported the local economy on my travels, small food court, and plenty of your typical mall brands. The Macys was ridiculously over priced, not sure why everything was so marked up. read more

Well although like many malls this one isn't at its former glory, it still seems really nice! It leans towards more of a high end mall. While some unconventional (such as a mega church), it seems like it still has a high tenant rate. There is still larger JCPenney, Dicks Sporting, and Macys as anchors. The food court is ample and versions of stores such as Bath and Body works are nicer than other locations. On the outskirts of the mall many more unique restaurant chains have built in. Even on a weekday this place did not feel like a ghost town, it was bustling. I for one do not like seeing malls die out, so hopefully this one keeps going! read more

The mall has gone down hill every since Parisian dept store bailed, they saw this place going down hill years ago, with Elder Berman gone, Macy's is the only half decent store left and it's horrible, no selection, no designer goods, and "kids" playing on the escalator, it's Saturday and it has closed at 7pm, the employees hid at 6:55 in order to make people panic to find main entrances to leave, in order not to get locked in, i was lucky? The patrolling security stopped me to make sure I was ok, in the middle of the giant parking lot, due to I was dangerously hiking around the mall parking lot, in the dark and its 30 degrees to find my car, they do have lights that work in the parking lot, thank God they can afford light bulbs. Of course every thing is blamed on covid. Covid is not an excuse for rudeness and bad treatment of paying customers. read more

This has just become one of my new favorite places! Mostly because of the food court - it has a children's play area!!! Winter here in Dayton sucks. Al my little boy and I want is to go outside and play, but it's freezing cold. This play area is great for really young kids as everything is on the small and simple side. It is paid for by a local hospital and is therefore hospital themed. There's a giant stethoscope and thermometer, there's a mini hospital with a bridge to climb under and over, there's a mini ambulance kids can climb in and slide down the back. This whole area is walled in with one open entrance and exit. Along the walls there are spinning blocks that encourage healthy eating of vegetables. There are tables all along the low wall of the play area, so it's easy to grab lunch and have eyes on the kiddos as they play. Or you can sit on the benches that line the inside of the wall and chat with other parents. The only thing that could make it better? I wish the entrance had a gate to prevent the really young ones from simply wandering out. read more

Beautiful Mall in Beavercreek. We took the kids to the indoor playground this afternoon. The playground is modern and safe. I like that the floor is bouncy. The Mall was relatively empty for a Friday afternoon. No kids where visiting Santa either. I haven't been to the Mall in about 6 month and noticed that some of the stores are replaced by new ones. Another anchor store is closing there as well. It's a nice place to hangout but I am unsure if I would actually do all of my shopping there. It gets very crowded after Thanksgiving and during the Holidays. read more

Typical mall. Nice to make a day trip to get out of Columbus to stop at if you're heading to Dayton/Cincy or surrounding areas. Mall is slowly dying (Go Games & Calendars is on the way out), several empty spaces. Bought a used movie from FYE and there was no disc in it. Luckily I was still in the area to be able to return it. Close to Wright State University and several food options (Melt, Chuy's, Fox & Hound, etc) on the back side of the mall. read more

My husband and I visited on a Thursday afternoon. We were quite surprised at how many people were there during a week day! It was not crowded but a nice bunch of people milling about. They have a amount of quality stores which is hard to find now days in Ohio. Overall we had a good experience but I have to add that if you are a physically disabled person make sure you bring what you need. We had not planned on venturing into the mall and decided to go since they said wheelchairs were available. First you have to call security and figure out which entrance to use, then there's a large walk to the door because they have put in a park like entrance, after that you have to call the security office again and wait for them to bring a chair then place a deposit or give them a drivers license and fill out a form. I guess this would be more tolerable if the chair you get is worth using. The chair was not comfortable at all. The wheels were dry rotted and coming apart and it was hard to push. The brakes also didn't properly work. To make things even more interesting after we had ventured through the entire first floor the main elevator was out of service. We had to scramble to find an elevator so we could leave in time to get to my doctors appointment. Overall for anyone who didn't have to borrow a wheelchair it's one of the few nice malls left in Ohio, but they should really look into improving their wheelchair service. read more

I have been to A LOT of malls in my day and I must say, this was a pleasant surprise! Clean, neat, friendly! Plenty of parking. While training for our service dog, we had to do a few walks here. Every shop was great! Everyone was always friendly and didn't give us a hassle. We even came here when we weren't training and it was the same! We walked through JC Penny to get from the mall to the lot where our car was and the woman that locked the doors comes up to us and says "How did you get in here?!?!?!" and we just stood there because it was a strange question and then she yelled at us saying she just locked the doors and now she has to unlock them again.After that,she slams her arms down and takes a deep breath and yells "go out that way!".It was so rude and unexpected and I had my 11 year old and 5 year old brother with me. read more

Didn't think anyone really went to the mall anymore. The day after Christmas I thought everyone would be hanging out on Amazon, but this place was bumpin'. Not from around town, so I've never been here before. The mall was a buzz. I love the ride-able stuffed animals. The trackless choo-choo was a bit burdensome. I think this place could spring for a few more bathrooms. The ones by the food court were packed. I couldn't find any others. Glad to see a music and DVD store. Those seem to be becoming a dying breed. This mall must be doing pretty well, I was hard-pressed to find many vacancies. They had a couple stores I'd never heard of. read more

I appreciate that we still have malls. This mall is about 30 minutes from me and almost the only option unless I drive further. It has all of the usual stores that individually have pretty decent sales. I don't care for the men that accost me trying to sell face cream or beauty care items that pester you as you're walking by. Some are so persistent my granddaughter and I play a game of who can get past them without their catching us to sell whatever they're peddling-we always win at this game now! Lol The food court sucks and needs better options. I don't mind the guys with the samples of Chinese food but when I've gotten it as a meal it's not so good. There are two, back to back fighting for your attention. Kids area at the place were you sit to eat is funny. Don't sit in the padded booth seats if you don't want a kid hitting you in the head while they play behind you! The general bathroom is disgusting there and if you can't wait I'd recommend going into Macys or Penny's bathrooms over this one. People leave it nasty! Today my granddaughter went in after a teenage girl came out who didn't flush and left a used tampon. The woman beside her came out, looked as if she also wasn't flushing either till I looked at her like "you're a pig lady" and then went back and flushed. Why are people so disgusting? I don't know if mall workers clean often in there but I wouldn't want their job! And if you are these nasty women, you're trashy and we all see you! read more

Yes I would consider this mall a very basic mall..like so many others in the area..but I just like this one more than most basic malls. It's structure is unique and it seems like they're really trying to keep this one afloat. Yes there are vacancies here and there like most malls these days..but I would say less than your average basic mall. I enjoy some of the malls unique stores..they have a really cool arcade, which is awesome because it's been some time since I've even seen a mall with a "legit" arcade in it (an empty storefront with 2 or 3 games thrown in it and a change machine does not count). They have a combo FYE-Suncoast Video store that I would have to say is the nicest version of either of those stores I have seen in a long time. The ones that still exist are usually run down and way disorganized..but this one is not..it's very clean and very organized. I know that both stores are kind of irrelevant these days, but I still enjoy them, and I can appreciate when they're well taken care of. They have your average anchor stores: Macy's, JCPennys, Elder Beerman, Dicks Sporting Goods..and they all appear to be well taken care of. Their food court seems to have a lot of different options for people, albeit mostly generic options, but still. Their parking lot is a little awkward in front of the food court. It's kind of set up in a way that if you're not in the very front row you end up having to park pretty far away..you end up being closer to the Macy's entrance really..but this isn't enough of a pain to really hold against the mall. We did see that Aeropostal was closing on this last visit..not quite sure what is going on with that poor company but there is now only one location I can think of left in the southwest Ohio area (that would be at Kenwood). I really hope they can fill this vacancy quickly..because every other mall that I have seen that has lost this store hasn't been able to yet..and it leaves a big whole in the mall. read more

A mall is a mall is a mall, but at least, it's not Dayton Mall with all that horrendous traffic. They have some good anchor stores, as Lazarus changed to Macy's and Elder-Beerman's has two locations, one just "for her". Thankfully, parking outside Elder-Beerman means that you don't have to walk several miles to go inside. It seems some stores are less popular, even if you're just walking through them. The food court is adequate with the usual Asian Cajun-type places but I'd rather travel Col. Glenn Hwy. to find something better to eat. With all the stores along Fairfield Rd., this seems a better location than Dayton Mall and if you must, it's not that far a trip on I-675 between the two. read more

Great mall with lot's of stores. I spent a lot of money in Aeropostale. I loved the FYE store here. They have a great food court with lot's of options. I would defintly recommend this mall. Very few storefronts were actually empty. read more

This mall has great events for families. This November my daughter, 2 grandchildren and myself attended an early family Christmas activity on a Friday evening. At the entrance to the mall were 2 reindeer that you could pet. Inside the doors there was so much more. To the right were chocolate chip cookies, elves on stilts making balloon swords & Santa Clause! To the left was a fast moving line to get a fun Christmas lights necklace. We weren't able to see Santa that night. it was obvious that a lot of the other families had arrived much earlier than us & the line was long. Even so the night was so much fun. Prior to this I attended a fun science/magic show with my grandson and my granddaughter & daughter on a nice summer Saturday afternoon. There were amazing dry ice tricks including the shrinking & expanding balloons and using a modified leaf blower and plastic balls to float, move and shoot plastic balls across the room. And yes I didn't catch very many of them in the bucket! Before this we all enjoyed the kid's play zone on a dreary early spring Saturday morning. My then 2 year old grandson loved running and jumping and climbing on all the fun & colorful animal themed play stations. There is also a rocket ship. Vending machines are nearby for snacks, soda, gum and candy if that is your thing. Vendor kid's rides are also just a short distance away. The Mall at Fairfield commons is your run of the mill suburban mall. Anchor stores include Elder Beerman (a personal fave), Macy's, Sears, and more. There are stores for every man, woman, child and pocketbook. It is quite diverse and rather large. You could spend hours (and many dollars here)! I really like that it is clean and well maintained. Tons of parking! What don't I love? The food court. There really is not a huge selection, which was a little disappointing. One of the ladies from one of the Asian restaurants almost stabbed me with her toothpick when I declined her sample. She is lucky I didn't bust out my secret ninja skills. The mall is struggling with the smaller stores staying but overall the mall is still clean, a safe to shop in with a good selection of stores. There is slot of good restaurants nearby. Still a good place to go to shop. Anchor stores like Dicks, Sears, Macy's, Eder-Beer man, and JC Penny's are going strong. read more

Have been going to this mall my whole life and it's always been a clean, safe place to shop. It has a few good stores, but really doesn't have the selection the Dayton Mall or Kenwood Mall have. I do not believe all these people hating on my favorite mall when I am home in Ohio. True, it has the same stores as other malls, but for the area it has a good variety, from Sears to Macy's! My only complaint is that some stores, like Beerman's for women have evidently abandoned customer service training. I was there to buy a coat a couple of weeks ago when we were at the Ohio house for my class reunion and I had to practically mount a safari to find someone to take my money. I stood at the "customer service area" ( remember when stores actually had cash registers in each department?) and call " anybody here?" for more than three minutes. When the woman finally ambled up she did not apologize for making me wait. A woman I presumed was a supervisor wandered up and the woman waiting on me interrupted our transaction to ask her if she thought she looked sexy in her jeans. ( She was about 80 years old and although there probably are sexy 80 year olds she was not one!) this exchange precluded her from thanking me for my 280 buck coat purchase.. The service and professionalism at Macy's, in contrast was wonderful. So, go to the Fairfield Commons if you want a good experience at Macy's, a customer service nightmare but good bargains at Beerman's. I do miss the Kirkland's which was one of my favorites! read more

This is a good little mall and has most if not everything that you're looking for. Also has restaurants and a movie theater. Parking is mostly ample. Only issue is I don't think I see security in the parking lot (not that there's ever been an issue, but I'm all for prevention not reaction). read more

Not a fave shopping destination, but it's where I get in some walking during the winter months. Doors open at 830 AM and you can actually make some tracks without all the meandering shoppers. I've been to my fair share of malls across America, and this mall is one of the better one I've seen. The most striking feature to me is the variety of stores- specifically by price range. This mall has your standard affordable clothing stores, like JCPenneys and Charlotte Russe, your more pricy clothing shops, like Express, and even your fairly expensive, specialty stores, like Aldo (bought some shoes on sale there...for $80. Ouchies...) and Brookstone. It's nice to have a bit of everything, all in one place :) read more
